Get PDFBruno Fernandes, ex-capitão e ídolo do Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, foi condenado no ano 2013 pelo assassinato, ocorrido em 2010, da ex-companheira Eliza Samúdio. Este artigo apresenta o caso Eliza a partir da reconstrução realizada desde as notícias veiculadas na imprensa brasileira e, sobretudo, das passagens do livro “Indefensável: o goleiro Bruno e a história da morte de Eliza Samúdio”. O que nos interessa é apresentar e discutir as imagens que foram construídas sobre os personagens (Bruno e Eliza, sobretudo) e os eventos do caso. Dessa forma, poderemos seguir as repercussões a respeito do caso Eliza e, paralelamente, analisar como esses desdobramentos influenciaram o rodar do goleiro Bruno, após sua condenação, por diferentes clubes do interior do Brasil. A partir destes movimentos, poderemos analisar como a trajetória futebolística de Bruno foi impactada e, ainda, articular tropos narrativos como marcadores sociais da diferença, imagens de controle, jogos de fama e infâmia, idolatria e abjeção.Bruno Fernandes, former captain and idol of the football club Flamengo, was condemned in 2013 for the murder of its former partner, Eliza Samúdio, in 2010. This article presents the Eliza murder case pieced together with the Brazilian news coverage and quotations from the book “Indefensable: the goalkeeper Bruno and the history of Eliza Samúdio’s death”. Our aim is to present and debate the imagens constructed on the characters (Bruno and Eliza, mainly) and the events of the case. Thus, we will be able to follow the repercutions of the Eliza murder case and, simoultaneously, analyze how those aftermaths influenced the circulation of the goalkeeper Bruno, after its sentence, throught different Brazil smaller teams. Those movements underline the impacts suffered by Bruno’s football trajectory, framing narrative tropes as social markers of difference, images of control, dynamics of fame and infamy, idolship and abjection
