Ireneusz Kania : a man whose dharma is "gawking at the world"
The subject of the essay is the author`s commentary on the selected texts of Ireneusz Kania and some interviews with him. These texts are included in the volume Metaphysical Debt. The commentary is limited to Buddhist threads. Ireneusz Kania frankly declares that Buddhist topics are very close to him and explicitly states that Buddhism provides the greatest knowledge about human nature and reality. Kania talks about himself that his dharma is "gawking at the world"; we can say that this becomes his individual path of knowledge

Location Conditionings of Logistics Centers as Central Units of National Logistics Network
Next to sea ports, logistics centers constitute central units of national logistics network, which enable its connection to
the networks of neighbouring countries and allow its incorporation into the logistics macrosystem of Europe. Logistics
centers can be realized after various implementation models, which were discussed. This paper presents the nearest
similar assemblies of logistics infrastructure outside Polish borders which can be used as joining elements with the
national logistics network. An opinion was formulated on the function of logistics centers in the aspect of the growth
of transport comodality, as stipulated by the EU, and restrictions resulting from the structure of national logistics
network were pointed out

Streszczenie
Wprowadzenie i cel pracy.
Materiał i metoda.
Nadwaga i otyłość częściej dotyczyła badanych chłopców – nadwaga 17,36%, otyłość 1,65%. U dziewcząt nadwagę określono u 12,03% badanych, otyłość u 0,41%.
Wnioski. Najwięcej badanych dziewcząt z nadwagą było wśród 9-latków, natomiast problem ten u chłopców najczęściej występował u 10-latków. Otyłość występowała u 7-letnich dziewcząt i 8-letnich chłopców. Brak jest zależności istotnej statystycznie pomiędzy kategoriami BMI – nadwagą i otyłością, normą i niedowagą, a wiekiem.BMI wzrasta wraz z wiekiem, zasadne jest więc stosowanie siatek centylowych dla poszczególnych grup wiekowych u dzieci. Potrzebne jest wdrażane edukacji dotyczącej odżywiania i aktywności fizycznej zarówno wśród rodziców jak i wśród dzieci.
Abstract
Introduction and aim of the study. The prevalence of overweight and obesity among the children and adolescents is particularly dangerous, in 60% of children and adolescents, this problem will occur in adulthood, and also increases the risk of diseases such as: type 2 diabetes, hiprelipidemia, hypertension, or emotional disturbances. The aim of the study was evaluation of nutritional status among children aged 7-10 years old from Masłów and Górno District measured by BMI index.
Material and methods
The research was conducted in 2015 and 2016among the group of 486 primary school children aged 7-10 from Masłów and Górno District. The child body mass was studied on the Tanita weight, for body height was used the Seca measure system. Based on the results BMI was calculated. In relation to BMI centile charts, based on Olaf’s and Ola’s study, determined whether the child was obese, overweight or underweight.
Results. The level of somatic development for the whole group in the study, taking into account the results averaged, is within normal limits. Children who are overweight in the examined group was 14.81%, and obesity occurred in 1.02%. Overweight and obesity more often concerned examined boys, overweight - 17,36%, obesity - 1.65%. Among girls overweight was determined in 12,03% of children while obesity - 0,41%.
Conclusion. Most of the girls examined were overweight among 9-year-olds, while the problem in boys usually appeared in 10-year-olds. Obesity was present in 7-year-old girls and 8-year-old boys. There is no statistically significant dependence between categories of BMI - overweight and obesity, underweight andthe norm, and also age. BMI increases with age, so it is reasonable to use centile charts for different age groups of children. Education on nutrition and physical activity among both parents and children is needed
The consequences of (lack of) changes in copyright law and the legal status of computer games
Ireneusz Matusiak - doktor nauk prawnych, Prezes Sądu Polubownego przy Polskiej Izbie Informatyki i Telekomunikacji.Further proposals for amendments to the provisions of the Act on Copyright and
Related Rights still do not include the postulates of the doctrine as to specification
of the independent legal status of multimedia works – including computer games.
The present situation where computer games are classified according to the needs of
the entities trading in copyright contradicts the principle of clarity and certainty of
law. The article presents the adverse effects (to a limited extent concerning the remuneration
for the so called inserts) triggered by sub-categorizing computer games as
audiovisual works. It cannot be ruled out that the copyright collective management
organizations will begin vindication of dues for compensation for the reproduction
of works – computer games on copies designated for own personal use directly from
the publishers of computer games. The Author of the article by pointing out the possible
consequences of the recognition of computer games as audiovisual works takes
a position that in this regard it is also necessary to amend the provisions of copyright
law.Prezes Sądu Polubownego przy PIIT63-7

Abstract
Inroduction and aim of the study. Hallux valgus is a deformity where there is a lateral deviation of the proximal phalanx of the big toe. The objective of the study was investigation of the occurrence of hallux valgus based on the image from a podoscope in children, examination of the effect of ill-fitted footwear on the development of this complaint.
Material and method
The study covered 184 children, aged 7-13. The children were examined in their underwear, without shoes and socks. Body weight and body height was measured. The image of the feet on a podoscope was done at full load. The hallux valgus angle α, the Clarke’s angle and the Wejsflog’s index were calculated. The software calculated the correct size of the footwear which should be worn by the children. This size was compared with the size of the shoes which a child had during the examination.
Results. The problem of hallux valgus affects 26% of the children. Hallux valgus more frequently concerned the left foot. In 8% of cases hallux valgus concerned both feet.
Conclusions. Hallux valgus in the examined group more often concerned girls than boys. The hallux valgus angle α increased with age. Children who had a normal hallux valgus angle α had higher values of the Clarke’s angle. In the group of children examined, no statistically significant relationship was found between hallux valgus angle α and the fitting of footwear, Wejsflog’s index and the BMI
