Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Analisis Pengaruh Penggunaan Balok-T dan Balok Persegi pada Gelagar Jembatan Deck Girder Sederhana
Gelagar jembatan merupakan salah satu komponen jembatan yang
berkontribusi besar dalam menahan gaya geser, tegangan, tekanan, dan momen
lentur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan balok
persegi dan balok-T pada gelagar jembatan deck girder sederhana ditinjau dari
reaksi perletakan, kebutuhan penulangan (lentur dan geser), serta lendutan.
Serangkaian standar pembebanan RSNI T-02-2005 diberikan kepada kedua jenis
balok gelagar dengan beban, ukuran, dan mutu yang sama. Hasil analisis
menunjukkan penggunaan balok-T dan balok persegi sebagai gelagar
menghasilkan nilai reaksi perletakkan yang sama. Ditinjau dari kebutuhan
tulangan lentur, penggunaan gelagar balok-T memiliki hasil yang lebih rendah
dari gelagar balok persegi dengan range persentase perbedaan mencapai 0.19 –
6.81 % untuk balok tepi dan 0.43 – 9.23 % untuk balok tengah. Namun, untuk
tulangan geser tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang berarti. Adapun lendutan yang
dihasilkan oleh gelagar balok-T jauh lebih rendah dari gelagar balok persegi
dengan persentase perbedaan 31.67 % untuk balok tepi dan 31.66 % untuk balok
tengah. Seluruh lendutan yang dihasilkan oleh kedua jenis balok gelagar masih
tergolong aman
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Analisis Pengaruh Gempa Terhadap Perilaku Jembatan Cable Stayed
Di era modern ini, jembatan yang awalnya hanya difungsikan sebagai sarana
penghubung, telah dijadikan sebagai landmark di beberapa kota seperti jembatan
cable stayed Dr. Ir. Soekarno di Kota Manado. Dalam perencanaannya, bangunan
dipersiapkan untuk dapat menahan berbagai macam beban mulai dariaksi
permanen, aksi transien hingga aksi khusus seperti pengaruh gempa. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya kekakuan struktur yang terjadi,
displacement pada saat servis dan kapasitas momen saat ultimit pada jembatan.
Metode analisis yang digunakan mengacu kepada RSNI T-02-2005 dan SNI T-12-
2004 dengan menggunakan bantuan software CSiBridge 2016 v18.0.1.
Berdasarkan hasil pemrograman dan perhitungan, diperoleh nilai kekakuan
struktur sebesar 395,572 kN/m dengan displacement terbesar pada saat servis
yaitu 0.2116 m dan telah sesuai dengan lendutan ijin. Dari analisis terhadap
kapasitas momen penampang dengan membandingkan nilai momen nominal
terhadap momen ultimit, diketahui bahwa kondisi momen ultimit di setiap span
masih berada di bawah momen nominal. Dengan demikian, jembatan dinyatakan
aman apabila menerima beban kombinasi ultimit yang terdiri dari aksi permanen,
transien dan aksi khusus berupa gempa
Analisis Pengaruh Gempa Terhadap Struktur Jembatan Cisemangka, Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat
Untuk perencanaaan jembatan, beban gempa menjadi salah satu beban yang harus diperhitungkan mengingat kondisi Indonesia yang berada di jalur lingkaran bencana gempa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis besarnya gaya dalam maksimum pada kondisi layan dan kondisi ultimit serta perhitungan tulangan pada struktur PCI girder, pier head, dan pier column. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemodelan menggunakan program AutoCAD dan analisis gaya dalam menggunakan program SAP2000. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh besarnya gaya aksial maksimum pada kondisi layan dan ultimit yaitu sebesar 19931.88 kN dan 19954.96 kN. Beban gempa menghasilkan gaya geser dan gaya torsi maksimum pada PCI girder sebesar 22564.87 kNm dan 196.43 kNm. Melalui perhitungan, untuk struktur PCI girder diperlukan tambahan 3D16 tulangan lentur, 7D16 tulangan susut, 5D9 tulangan geser pada bagian tumpuan, dan 2D9 tulangan geser pada bagian lapangan. Untuk struktur pier head diperlukan tambahan 82D32 tulangan lentur dan 26D16 tulangan geser pada bagian lapangan
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Analisis dan Desain Jembatan Frame, Kolom “V”, Box Girder, dengan Mempertimbangkan Beban Gempa
The growing of economic, social, cultural and environmental influenced by the availability of infrastructure, such as bridges. The bridges often used as a city icon. Selection of bridge structures important to adapt the structural strength and stability, serviceability structure, durability, ease of implementation, economic, and aesthetic. Strength of bridge structure in Indonesia is strongly influenced by earthquake load. Therefore, the construction of flyover Simpang Jam Batam needs to be built and studied. This study aims to analyze and design the frame bridge with "V"column and boxgirder, consider to earthquake load, and design reinforced concrete structures. The methods are data collection, preliminary dimension, modeling in CSI Bridge, and reinforcement design. The study started at April to July 2013 in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Bogor Agricultural University. The result is the maximum forces obtained occurs in combination ULS-4a and SLS-4a, that moment values are 66298.6 kNm and 37494 kNm, whereas shear force values are 9735.71 kN and 6346.73 kN. Based on the results, boxgirder flexural reinforcement at top slab is D19-100 and D19-200, bottom slab and web are D16-150. Meanwhile, boxgirder shear reinforcement needs only at web is D16-150.
