Dove vanno i laici. Note sull’etica di Paolo Bonetti
Il purgatorio dei laici, a book published by Paolo Bonetti in 2008, is an expression of the “restless laity” of its author. Composed of a series of meditations on the present stage of ethics, especially in its relations with the Catholic religion, that book appears to us today as a collection of “ethical fragments” from which we derive still useful reflections on the present stage of ethics in its relationships with bioethics and on the limits and paradoxes of a metaphysics and immutable "human nature". Reasonable claim to the authentic meaning of secularism and liberalism – keywords of Bonettian ethics –, this article was born from the attempt to trace a profile of the philosopher Bonetti before the challenges of contemporary world’s complexity
Global solvability of a dissipative Frémond model for shape memory alloys. Part I : Mathematical formulation and uniqueness
The mathematical formulation of a dissipative Frémond model for shape memory alloys is given in terms of an initial and boundary values problem. Uniqueness of sufficiently regular solutions is proved by use of a contracting estimates procedure in the case when quadratic dissipative contributions are neglected in the energy balance. The related existence result is only established while its proof will be detailed by the author in a subsequent paper
I beni comuni nell'ordinamento giuridico italiano tra "mito" e "realtà"
The article examines the Italian legal regime of commons. In the first part of the paper, the author attempts to reconstruct the relevant qualifying traits of commons into Italian legal system. In the second part, instead, the author carries out certain considerations about their prospects for legal policy
The paper addresses the issue of interactions between climate change policies and the tools of the government of the territory in the Italian legal system; in particular, the author gives account of the measures contained in the spatial and urban planning, by considering also the possibility that countering climate change may become a new paradigm for the planning system
This paper examines the provisions of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Law no. 24 of 21 December 2017. In particular, starting from the reconstruction and critical analysis of some of the main innovations of the text, along with the related transitional regime, the author carries out a series of reflections about the features of a reform that seems to somehow initiate a fourth generation of legislative production of regional sources in the area of territorial government
Sculptor Orazio Bonetti between Friuli, Kvarner, and Dalmatia
Ovom prigodom Bonettiju se pripisuju kipovi u salezijanskom samostanu u San Vito al Tagliamento, crkvi San Cristoforo u Udinama, župnoj crkvi u Nogaredo di Prato i u Adegliaccu. Monumentalne kipove sv. Silvestra i sv. Orazio Bonetti was one of the many Friulian sculptors active in the 18th century, and hitherto almost unknown in Croatia. He was born around 1700, most likely in Venice, where he began his schooling and then went to Friuli and Ljubljana, becoming an assistant to Francesco Robba. Due to the scarcity of documents and the fact that many of his works have been lost, details of the master’s life and artistic itinerary have remained largely unknown and unrelated. On this occasion, Bonetti has been credited with statues in the Salesian convent of San Vito al Tagliamento, the church of San Cristoforo in Udine, and the parish churches in Nogaredo di Prato and in Adegliacco. In the second half of the 1740s, Bonetti lived with his family in Ljubljana and collaborated with the Rijeka sculptor Antonio Michelazzi, producing statues for the altar of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the parish church of Pazin. He then moved to Rijeka, and after 1763 set out for Dalmatia. In Orlec on the island of Cres, he carved statues for the high altar of the parish church, and in 1766 he decorated in marble the altar of the Immaculate Conception in the Zadar Cathedral. He is also the author of monumental statues of St Sylvester and St Thomas, today in Lovreć, which he made in 1768 for the former church of St Sylvester in Zadar. The master’s presence in Zadar is indirectly confirmed by a record of the death of his wife Cattarina, who was buried in 1770 in the church of St Marcella
Computing the exact distributions of some functions of the ordered multinomial counts: maximum, minimum, range and sums of order statistics
Starting from seminal neglected work by Rappeport (1968), we revisit and expand on the exact algorithms to compute the distribution of the maximum, the minimum, the range, and the sum of the J largest order statistics of a multinomial random vector under the hypothesis of equiprobability. Our exact results can be useful in all those situations in which the multinomial distribution plays an important role, from goodness-of-fit tests to the study of Poisson processes, with applications spanning from biostatistics to finance. We describe the algorithms, motivate their use in statistical testing and illustrate two applications. We also provide the codes and ready-to-use tables of critical values
sistema italiano.Starting from the reconstruction of the essential aspects which distinguish the
structure and the regime of the local public transport service in the national legal
system, both from a physiological and pathological perspective, the essay aims at
verifying the adaptive capacity of the local public transport to the new needs of the
sustainable mobility.
Therefore, the author considers the centrality of the local public transport within
the multiform expressions of the sustainable mobility, underlining the issues that
may affect the corresponding implementation in the Italian system
This paper examines the increasing complexity of the relations between on the one hand, the territorial government functions, in particular related to urban planning, and on the other hand the functions for the protection and enhancement of the cultural heritage, using as a research setting the reconstruction processes following the earthquakes occurred in Italy in 2012 and 2016. After a brief introduction on the conceptual framework, the analysis is focused on the structural and functional features of the relationship as it appears in the current regulatory framework. The paper highlights the gradual rise of a wider evolutionary dynamic related to the so-called differentiated interest category. Afterwards, it analyses the most innovative profiles which arise within the reconstructive processes under investigation. The research is carried out from the juridical perspective, with particular regard to the reciprocal interrelations between territorial government and the cultural heritage. Building on such framework, the author suggests that the regime of specialty for the reconstruction processes with respect to the relationship between territorial government and cultural heritage is less disruptive than what might appear at first glance
