MUSLIM COMMUNITY IN GERMANY: CURRENT CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES
A recent study showed that the number of Muslims had increased significantly in Germany since 2015. Many of them still face challenges in terms of employment and training. Religion may be a secondary cause of these challenges, "but it does not hinder integration in general." "We will do that," was the most famous phrase of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in 2015, referring to her that her country is capable and ready to receive a large number of refugees, when Germany opened its doors to them and received about one million people, most of them from the Middle East, especially Syria. The author conducted a literature study by quoting from various sources as well as using a descriptive and comparative analysis approach, after about six years, the number of Muslims in Germany has become much larger, and the demographic structure has become less homogeneous, according to a recent official study, conducted by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (PAMF) at the request of the Islam Conference in Germany and the Federal Ministry of the Interior. However, the growing number of Muslims in Germany came under pressure as their numbers grew. Sometimes due to hatred and incitement from outside and within Germany itself. Cultural differences, especially religion, have become a catalyst for the emergence of such hatred. The number of Muslims continues to increase in line with the increasing efforts in cultural assimilation and the ongoing adjustment of the social environment that has changed the situation, which is expected to be better than the previous situation.

Analisis Konten Hadis dalam Lirik Lagu Berserah Diri oleh Sabyan di Youtube
Music as a bridge to deliver religious messages is now on the rise. Judging from the various works of songs with Islamic nuances, it is increasingly favored by the public. Not surprisingly, many song lyrics adapted from the traditions of the Prophet SAW began to appear and trending. At the end of June 2022, Sabyan Gambus again released its latest song entitled Berserah Diri. In the song Berserah Diri created by Agung Insan Tauhid and Ayus Sabyan, there are also several Prophetic traditions which are then modified into song lyrics. The diverse functions of symbolism in Maqamat Imam al-Suyutiy
Elements of symbolism in literary works are one of the essential elements discussed in any academic research. Symbolism is a medium to represent ideas and messages that the author wants to convey in his work. Meanwhile, Maqamat is a literary work which is loaded with symbols through the symbolic style of language and also has a message to convey. Therefore, this study is conducted to identify and analyse the functions of symbols in Maqamat Imam al-Suyutiy (MIS). This research is a qualitative study that uses the method of textual analysis. The research data was selected based on the elements of symbolism contained in the text of the speech taken directly from the five maqamat. In order to achieve the set objectives, the Nazm theory established by Abd al-Qahir al-Jurjaniy was used in this study. The analysis of context and co-text was conducted for all research data using this Nazm theory. The results showed that there were symbols such as flowers, fruits, gems, and fragrances used by the author. These symbols had several functions such as depicting the bad attitude of the government leaders, criticising the attitude of the members of the society, avoiding punishment by the rulers, expressing the discomfort of the MIS author about the political situation, and depicting the character of a person
Le Songe d'un Habitant du Mogol & autres fables de la Fontaine
This is a delightful large-format book of some 192 pages featuring the fifty-nine miniatures painted by Imam Bakhsh at the court of Lahore from 1837 on. As far as I can understand, these miniatures are now preserved at the Jean de la Fontaine Museum in Château-Thierry. They are exquisite! Let me list some of my favorites: The Crow Wishing to Imitate an Eagle (23); MSA (29); FWT (41); The Horse and the Wolf (42); FG (48, an absolute star!); The Stag Seeing Himself in the Water (53); The Lion, the Wolf, and the Fox (71); The Rat and the Elephant (81); The Wolf and the Hunter (90); CW (103); The Dream of the Citizen of the Mogul's Land (137); and The Sun and the Frogs (169). The introduction and appendices give some of the history of this remarkable set of artifacts. As the opening Avertissement de l'Éditeur points out, the fables that happen to be illustrated here are in many cases not La Fontaine's most famous. T of C at the back. I consider this a very lucky find!Language note: FrenchBoxedLa Fontain
A Comparative Study of Hassan Lahiji's Viewpoint in Mesbah Al-Hedayeh and Imam Khomeini's Philosophy Lectures
The relationship between Haades (Originated) and Ghadim (Eternal) has always been a challenging issue in philosophy, particularly for the monotheists with strong belief in non-changeability of the nature of the Necessary Being. Various schools of philosophy have explored many ways to find an answer to the problem. Imam Khomeini in his Taqrirat-e Falsafeh (Philosophical Statements) has reviewed solutions of various schools of philosophy. Hassan bin Abd al-Razaq Lahiji was a 12th century AH renowned scholar and the author of Misbah al-Derayah fi Sharha al-Hidayah (Light of Prudence in Explanation of Guidance). The book, available in manuscript, offers an exclusive solution. In this paper, we have reviewed viewpoints by Imam Khomeini and Mirza Hassan Lahiji, and while pointing to Imam Khomeini’s solution, we have investigated Lahiji’s solution. Restating Lahiji’s solution, the authors of the paper do not evaluate it as a perfect solution
