    Determinants of Achievement in Scientific Work: Exploring the Relationship of Leadership Style, Adversity Quotient, and Motivation

    Writing scientific work is a requirement for students. However, students still need help writing scientific papers. This study aimed to determine the effect of leadership style, adversity quotient, and motivation on scientific work achievement in Tadris IPA IAIN Ponorogo students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to causal research. The data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using regression analysis and SEM PLS. Overall, the study results show that leadership style, adversity quotient, and motivation positively influence scientific work achievement. PLS-SEM analysis shows that the variable that has the highest contribution is the adversity quotient. Then, the indicator with the highest contribution is the ownership indicator, while the indicator that contributes the least is creative innovation, with my statement using failure as a learning tool. This research proves that leadership style, adversity quotient, and motivation influence the scientific work achievement of Tadris IPA IAIN Ponorogo students. Therefore, in improving achievement in the field of scientific work, contributions from leaders, persistence from students, and encouragement to achievement are needed.

    PROFILE OF STUDENTS ANALYTICAL THINKING SKILLS IN LEARNING STYLE FOR COMPLETING SUBSTANCE PRESSURE PROBLEMS

    The skill to think analytically is an important skill for students to have, where the skill to think analytically helps students solve problems in science lessons that require an analytical skill to solve them. The research method is qualitative with a naturalistic design. This research was conducted at some Junior High schools in Ponorogo using the purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. This study aims to determine the profile of students' analytical thinking skills in solving problem-based problems in the grade 8th at pressure material and determine the pattern of its relationship with scientific exploration. The results showed that: 1) the profile of the analytical thinking skill in terms of the learning styles of students, namely the visual style subjects intend to explain what is known through the direct explanation in more detail, the audiovisual subjects are more likely to form simpler patterns with reasoning patterns generalization and on kinesthetic subjects tend to apply different (unique) concepts, but still have a relationship with the problem, 2) the pattern of the relationship between analytical thinking skills and learning styles, namely the exploration of science, which includes aspects of experience, reasoning, modalities, and the mindset of students. Through the results of this study, it is hoped that it can provide theoretical and practical insights for educators in determining approaches and strategies for achieving science analytical competence according to students' learning styles at school

    This research to determine the effectiveness of the application of PRODUKSI learning model to improve aspects of scientific communication skills. The research method used was experiment with one-group pretest-posttet design which replicated at three schools. The sample was chosen by purposive sampling. Data were collected by using tests that were then analyzed based on data characteristics. The analysis used is descriptive quantitative using N-Gain analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that learning model of PRODUKSI efectively and significantly helped to improve the scientific communication skill, including aspects of scientific writing, scientific reading, observation, knowledge representation, and presentation in a moderate level

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil rekonstruksi program perkuliahan pembelajaran IPA yang diorientasikan pada pembelajaran abad 21 bermuatan ayat kauniyah atau yang disebut sebagai program PIMAK agar layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogis mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian onegroup pre-test-post-test design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes yang kemudian datanya dianalisis melalui deskriptif kuantitatif, deskriptif kualitatif serta statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program PIMAK atau Pembelajaran IPA Muatan Ayat Kauniyah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik mahasiswa. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dari: 1) Program PIMAK dapat diterapkan dan berhasil mendukung pembelajaran IPA abad 21, 2) Program perkuliahan PIMAK efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik mahasiswa secara signifikan

    This study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods within an experimental setting. The study was conducted at Ma'arif 1 Junior High School in Ponorogo and focused on the influence of ethnoscience-based learning in ecology. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' learning activities and their ability to address real environmental problems. Pre-test and post-test analyses revealed a substantial difference in learning outcomes, affirming that the integration of ethnoscience and social issues can enhance students' understanding and application of scientific knowledge in real and current contexts. This research implies the efficacy of ethnoscience as an effective means in science education to enhance students' scientific literacy and ecological awareness

    Lahirnya revolusi industry 4.0 perlu diiringi pula dengan revolusi di bidang pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran hybrid dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet menjadi sebuah kebutuhan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membudayakan pembelajaran hybrid di sekolah dengan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru dalam memanfaatkan pembelajaran hybrid berbasis aplikasi google classroom. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah melalui participatory action research (PAR). Metode PAR ini lebih ditekankan pada aktifitas transformasi sosial melalui tindakan aksi dalam bentuk coaching edukatif pemanfaatan inovasi teknologi pembelajaran yang sedang berkembang. Adapun tahapan metode PAR yang digunakan adalah 1) pemetaan masalah, 2) penetapan solusi aksi, 3) pelaksanaan aksi, 4) refleksi kritis. Subyek kegiatan ini adalah guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA Kabupaten Ponorogo berjumlah 24 orang. Hasil coaching edukatif menunjukkan bahwa 1) guru antusias untuk memanfaatkan aplikasi google classroom dalam pembelajaran, 2) terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru setelah memanfaatkan pembelajaran hybrid berbasis google classroom.Lahirnya revolusi industry 4.0 perlu diiringi pula dengan revolusi di bidang pendidikan dan pembelajaran.     PENGASUHAN ANAK USIA DINI BERPERSPEKTIF GENDER DALAM HUBUNGANNYA TERHADAP PEMILIHAN PERMAINAN DAN AKTIVITAS KEAGAMAAN UNTUK ANAK

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pola pengasuhan yang terjadi di lembaga Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pola pengasuhan yang terjadi di lembaga PAUD maupun dalam lingkungan keluarga serta hubungannya terhadap pemilihan permainan dan aktivitas keagamaan AUD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan desain concurrent embedded. Penelitian dilaksanakan di eks-karesidenan Madiun dengan pemilihan sampel melalui purposive sampling pada data yang diperoleh menggunakan metode kualitatif dan random sampling pada data kuantitatif. Data tersebut dikumpulkan menggunakan angket, observasi, dan wawancara yang kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan karakteristiknya melalui deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pertama masyarakat telah responsif gender pada pengasuhan AUD dan cenderung bebas pada aspek stereotipe, subordinasi, dan marginalisasi, Kedua, pemahaman responsif gender dalam pemilihan pemainan yang dimiliki guru lebih baik daripada orang tua/pengasuh, sedangkan pemilihan aktivitas keagamaan tidak ada perbedaan, dan Ketiga adanya hubungan signifikan antara pola asuh dalam lingkungan keluarga dan lembaga PAUD terhadap pemilihan permainan, namun berbeda pada pemilihan aktivitas keagamaannya dimana hubungan signifikan hanya pada lingkungan keluarga.Kata Kunci: Pengasuhan Anak, Berperspektif Gender, Pemilihan Permainan, Aktivitas Keagamaa

    LEVEL ANALYSIS AND SUPPORTING FACTORS OF THINKING ABILITY ANALYTICAL IN SOLVING PROBLEM BASED PROBLEMS REVIEWED FROM THE LEARNING STYLES OF STUDENTS

    The ability to think analytically is one of the important abilities that must be mastered by students, being able to help students to analyze a problem logically, especially in looking for the relationship of concepts and situations that will be faced more easily, in addition to the ability to think analytically and logically play an important role to form patterns of logical structure in knowledge. The research method used is a mix-method that is a combination of methods (qualitative and quantitative) with a naturalistic design. This research was conducted at Ponorogo 1 Public Middle School with a sampling technique through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations and documentation which were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. This study investigated to determine the level of analytical thinking skills of students in solving problem-based problems in terms of learning styles and supporting factors in improving analytical thinking skills. The results showed that: 1) The level of analytical thinking ability in terms of the learning styles of students, namely (a) visual style students are at the level of ability to conclude the main ideas that are more dominant, (b) on audiovisual students that are at the ability to identify and knowing various errors, (c) in kinesthetic learning style students are at the level of ability to identify a problem and at this stage a good understanding is needed. (2) Factors supporting students' analytical thinking skills and learning styles, Through these results it is expected to provide theoretical and practical insights for educators in determining the approaches and strategies for achieving analytical science competencies according to the learning styles of students in schools

    LOOKING AT A PORTRAIT OF STUDENT ARGUMENTATION SKILLS ON THE CONCEPT OF INHERITANCE (21ST CENTURY SKILLS STUDY)

    This research was conducted to obtain a picture of the level of argumentation skills of students in science learning. This research is a starting point to find out the level of 21st century skills that are very important students have, one of which is argumentation skills. The method used is a qualitative study with a survey design and unstructured interviews with a sample of class IX A students in one of the Ponorogo District Junior High Schools selected by cross sectional random sampling. The results showed that the average of students 'argumentation skills was 71.528, which meant the level of students' argumentation skills in learning science was still relatively low. The results of this study become a reference for further research to improve students' argumentation skills in learning science especially1 Tadris IPA, IAIN Ponorogo, Indonesi
