Da una parte, il modello di sviluppo capitalistico, oramai adottato a livello globale, esercita una pressione significativa e crescente sugli ecosistemi naturali, sia in termini di input sia di output del processo produttivo. Dall’altra gli esiti di questo modello di sviluppo sono particolarmente evidenti negli ambienti urbani e metropolitani, in cui proseguono incessanti i fenomeni di polarizzazione socioeconomica, con esiti macroscopici nei Paesi bric e in quelli in via di sviluppo. Sia la loro base economica fondata sui settori dematerializzati del terziario avanzato o su attività manifatturiere a più o meno alta intensità tecnologica, le città, per garantire la propria sussistenza, operano un continuo drenaggio di materia ed energia dall’esterno, reimmettendole nell’ambiente in forma degradata

network of medium-sized cities which, from a historical-statistical analysis (starting from the analysis of Zipf's rank-size law), appears extraordinarily constant
over time. Indeed, we can observe the growing role played by medium-sized cities in the general Italian urban system, highlighted by the demographic data, which is
nothing other than the expression of a series of elements of an extremely complex economic and social nature. Medium- sized Italian cities are also characterized by
their highly diversified and specialized profiles where, however, the multi- functional character (not just economic) prevails. The impact of the PNRR on
medium-sized cities is potentially very incisive and shows a general great mobilization capacity of these entities in attracting funds and initiating significant
urban transition programs. Despite a Plan which, in general, is characterized by the absence of a territorial dimension, local actors active in medium-sized cities have
taken this opportunity to renew their respective urban agendas

No full textIl contributo è incentrato sulla prospettiva della preparedness e mette a fuoco l'attuazione del PNRR relativamente ai servizi sanitari, in particolare alle Case di Comunità.
Queste strutture, infatti, costituiscono il perno dello sviluppo dei servizi sanitari su base territoriale cui dà impulso il Piano in una prospettiva di superamento delle criticità evidenziate dal sistema sanitario durante la pandemia e di rilancio degli approcci alla salute fondativi del sistema stesso.
Esse si prefigurano, più precisamente, come ambiti principali dell'integrazione fra sociale e sanitario. Di conseguenza, sono alla base della rielaborazione in chiave sistemica della preparedness, coerentemente con il concetto di sindemia al centro del dibattito internazionale.
Il contributo si focalizza perciò sulla relazione tra preparedness, salute e territorio come chiavi centrali per comprendere come l'attuazione del PNRR incide sulle città e in specifico Milano e Bologna, entrambe territorio di riferimento di una ricerca sul campo - finanziata dal Bando Ricerca STS di Fondazione Cariplo per il periodo 2021-2023 volta a indagare proposte progettuali e operative su come la preparedness possa ispirare azioni trasformative nella città in campo sanitario

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
