Emerging technologies in solid drug delivery: An interview with Nadia Passerini
No full textNadia Passerini is interviewed by Hannah Makin, Commission Editor. Nadia Passerini is Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Bologna (Bologna, Italy). She obtained the degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Bologna in 1992 and the PhD in Pharmaceutical Science in 1997. Her research focuses on the study of drug delivery systems, developing new technologies and new apparatus for the production of solid dosage forms (microparticles, granules and tablets), which can optimize the bioavailability of drugs according to the specific needs of the therapy. Furthermore, she is interested in the solid-state characterization of the produced delivery systems in order to correlate their physicochemical properties to the in vitro release of the drugs. Currently, her research focuses in particular on the production and characterization of microparticles produced by the spray congealing technology. She is author of over 50 international peer-reviewed publications and over 50 contributions (poster and oral presentations) to national and international conferences

Nadia Boulanger is known to have told her teacher, Gabriel Fauré, that “if there is one thing of which I am certain, it is that my music is worthless.” As a teacher, Boulanger empowered her students to listen for the internal logic present in the pieces of art that she considered valuable. This document will apply Nadia Boulanger’s teachings to her compositions to demonstrate that her music does have worth. To that end, these analyses will compile data to discern the internal logic in her pieces.
As a performer, Nadia Boulanger coupled her analytical beliefs to her performance practice; her concerts were shaped by and carefully crafted to present her analyses. Her formal classes included an informal ticket to hear her commentaries in action. Therefore, in addition to analytical validation, the author intends to demonstrate the value of Nadia Boulanger’s music through the arrangement and performance of her compositions as brass chamber music. as brass chamber music

Penelitian ini didasari oleh peran teknologi yang semakin canggih yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat khususnya dikalangan para pelajar di sekolah. Guru dituntut untuk mampu memberikan pengajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif agar siswa siswi dapat termotivasi dan memiliki kesan tidak monoton dalam belajar. Salah satu inovasi tersebut yaitu pembuatan aplikasi pembelajaran guna membantu siswa siswi dalam memahami pelajaran yang disampaikan.
Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran bagi siswa siswi MA MALNU Pusat Menes. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Dari kelima tahap yang tertera pada model ADDIE, peneliti hanya mengambil 4 tahap diantara tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan dan tahap evaluasi.
Dalam 4 tahap yang telah disebutkan, peneliti membatasi langkah-langkah metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yaitu: 1) Analisis Kebutuhan Siswa Siswi MA MALNU Pusat Menes, 2) Merancang Produk, 3) Mengembangkan Produk berdasarkan hasil penilaian dan validasi dari ahli materi dan ahli media, dan 4) mengevaluasi produk. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui wawancara dan angket kuesioner.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di MA MALNU Pusat Menes, yang beralamat di Kp. Menes, Desa. Purwaraja, Kecamatan Menes, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten, Kode Pos 42282. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 12 Oktober-15 Desember 2020.
Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang diperoleh dari sampel data 26 siswa siswi, hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa 15 siswa siswi mengatakan multimedia wazan fi’il sangat perlu untuk dikembangkan di sekolah, dan 11 siswa siswi mengatakan multimedia ini cukup perlu untuk dikembangkan di sekolah.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa multimedia wazan fi’il dan maknanya sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran yang bersumber dari buku ajar, sehingga multimedia dinyatakan “Sangat Layak” untuk di kembangkan di sekolah tersebut. hasil ini diperoleh dari proses penilaian Ahli Materi dan Ahli Media melalui kuesioner, serta penilaian tanggapan siswa siswi terkait sangat diperlukannya multimedia wazan fi’il untuk membantu pemahaman lebih terkait materi tersebut.

This research is based on the role of increasingly sophisticated technology which is felt by the community, especially among students in schools. Teachers are required to be able to provide creative and innovative teaching so that students can be motivated and have the impression that they are not monotonous in learning. One of these innovations is the creation of learning applications or multimedia to help students understand the lessons delivered.
This research also aims to develop multimedia learning for students of MA MALNU Menes. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) Research Method using the ADDIE development model. Of the five stages listed in the ADDIE model, researchers only took 4 stages between the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage and the evaluation stage.
In the 4 stages that have been mentioned, the researcher limits the steps of the method used in the study, namely: 1) Analysis of the Needs of MA MALNU Students, 2) Designing Products, 3) Developing Products based on the results of assessment and validation from material experts and experts media, and 4) evaluating the product. Data collection techniques used through interviews and questionnaires.
This research was conducted at MA MALNU Menes, having its address at Kp. Menes, Village. Purwaraja, Menes District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, Postal Code 42282. This research was conducted on 12 October-15 December 2020.
Based on the analysis of needs obtained from a sample of data from 26 students, these results indicate that 15 students said that wazan fi'il multimedia really needs to be developed in schools, and 11 students said this multimedia is sufficient to be developed in schools.
The results of this study indicate that wazan fi'il multimedia and its meaning are in accordance with the learning material sourced from textbooks, so that multimedia is declared "Very Feasible" to be developed in the school. These results were obtained from the process of evaluating Material Experts and Media Experts through questionnaires, as well as assessing students' responses regarding the need for wazan fi'il multimedia to help better understand the material

Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai perjuangan dalam novel Sehidup Sesurga Denganmu karya Asma Nadia yang di mana setelah dideskripsikan nilai yang terkandung di dalam novel tersebut dapat ditanamkan kepada peserta didik agar tidak mudah menyerah dalam berjuang hingga dapat mencapai kesuksesan yang diinginkan. Hal tersebut dapat melalui sebuah karya sastra berupa novel. Contohnya pada saat pembelajaran dengan K.13 di kelas XII pada KD 3.9 yaitu menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel, dan kelas XII pada KD 4.9 merancang novel atau novelet dengan memperhatikan isi dan kebahasaan baik secara lisan maupun tulis. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode desktiptif. Metode deskriptif ialah langkah yang diambil untuk memecahkan masalah yang akan diteliti dengan mendeskripsikan subjek atau objek penelitian (novel, cerpen, drama, puisi) berdasarkan bukti-bukti yang ada. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu baca, simak, dan catat sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi yaitu identifikasi, klasifikasi, analisis, dan deskripsi. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat nilai perjuangan yang dilakukan beberapa tokoh dalam novel Sehidup Sesurga Denganmu karya Asma Nadia berjumlah 31 data yang mencakup nilai rela berkorban 4 data, nilai persatuan 2 data, nilai harga menghargai 3 data, nilai sabar 5 data, nilai semangat pantang menyerah 11 data dan nilai kerja sama sebanyak 6 data. Nilai perjuangan dalam novel tersebut dapat dijadikan pedoman atau acuan bagi penikmat sastra dalam menjalani suatu perjuangan.

Navigating dating and romantic relationships as an adult with Tourette Syndrome: an exploratory study
No full textTourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological disorder defined by recurrent and intrusive involuntary tics that begin in childhood. Individuals with TS often face significant psycho-social challenges, given the public nature of their tics and the fact that their symptoms are often misunderstood by others. This study explores how adults with TS navigate dating and romantic relationships, including the challenges they face and the strengths they have developed in this process. Five adult women with TS were interviewed using a semi-structured interview about their psycho-social experiences of living with TS and how the disorder has affected their dating experiences. The interviews were qualitatively analyzed as individual case studies and also compared and contrasted on the basis of five major research questions: 1) How do adults with TS navigate dating and romantic relationships? 2) What challenges and limitations do adults with TS face in dating and pursuing romantic relationships? 3) How do adults with TS go about explaining their symptoms to romantic partners? 4) How do the socio-emotional experiences of adults with TS with family and peers influence their dating experiences? 5) What factors are helpful for adults with TS in navigating dating and romantic relationships? Findings from the study indicate several themes among the subjects’ experiences: Choosing whether, why, when, how and what to disclose to partners; challenges of explaining tics and TS to others; reasons for concealing tics; impact of making disclosures to romantic partners; family and peers’ responses as a model for how romantic partners may respond; family and peers’ responses as a motivation for getting different responses from romantic partners; and considering genetics and children. Implications for individuals with TS and their parents are discussed, and recommendations for mental health professionals working with such individuals are made.Psy. Full text linkThe purpose of this study was to describe: (1) siocultural background author of the novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia; (2) entanglement between elements of structuralism in novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia; (3) religious values using semiotic study of iterature contained in the novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia; (4) to describe the implementation of the research results from novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan asmaterials criterion teach in high school. The research method using qualitative descriptive. The source of data in this research is the novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia. The forms of data in this study a phrases, sentences, or paragraph that contains religious values. The technique of collecting data used the preferences techniques. Data were analyze technique using the method of reading semiotic models that include reading heuristik and hermeunetik. The results of indicate that: (1) sociocultural background of the author of the novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia; (2) the elements of structuralism and the fact that the theme of the story has a very strong entanglement and coheren; (3) religious values using semiotic studies contained in the novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia; (4) implementation of research results from novel Surga yang tak Dirindukan materials criterion teach in high school.

Literary works are a place for authors to voice their thoughts, beliefs and physical experiences, as well as the author's imagination. The language used by the author has a certain meaning. Language in the form of signs is interesting to study semantically. Semiotics is the study of signs which has three aspects, namely, icons, indexes and symbols. The Bidadari Whispering novel by Asma Nadia tells the story of Ning's journey in search of his mysteriously missing sister, armed with minimal information. The problems of this research are (1) How is the semiotics of the iconic aspects contained in Asma Nadia's Bidadari Berbisa novel?, (2) How are the index aspects of the semiotics contained in Asma Nadia's Bidadari Berbisa novel?, (3) How are the symbol aspects of the semiotics contained in the novel. The novel Bidadari Berklik by Asma Nadia? This study uses a qualitative approach. The research method uses descriptive methods. The data collection technique used is hermeneutic technique. Content analysis data analysis techniques. The data validity technique used triangulation technique. The theory used is the theory of Pradopo (2010), Nurgiyantoro (2013), Sobur (2003), Rusmana (2014). The results of this study are the icons of the entire novel Bidadari Whispering by Asma Nadia are 9 data. The index of the entire novel Bidadari Whispering by Asma Nadia is 21 data. The symbol of the entire novel Bidadari Bercepat by Asma Nadia is as much as 40 data. The results of this study are the authors found the existence of icons, indexes and symbols. The most dominant aspect in this novel is the symbol. The reason this aspect is more dominant is because symbols are related to culture. Novels are usually based on the author's experience in interacting with the public
