No full textLAUREA SPECIALISTICALa dismissione dello scalo Farini e la conseguente necessità, del Comune di Milano, di riconvertire l’area, costituiscono l’occasione da cui prende avvio il progetto.
Il dossier è suddiviso in tre argomenti principali: il primo descrive lo sviluppo della rete ferroviaria a Milano studiando le carte storiche di ogni scalo ferroviario, in modo da avere un quadro generale delle trasformazioni della città che ci ha permesso di capire in che modo la ferrovia ha sovrapposto il proprio disegno a quello delle campagne.La seconda parte è un approfondimento sulle aree Garibaldi-Repubblica e Bovisa, adiacenti allo Scalo Farini. Lo studio di queste aree è necessario per rintracciare le origini di quei segni del territorio che ne hanno determinato la conformazione e che ancora oggi permangono nei tracciati e nella morfologia del costruito.L’ultima parte riguarda lo scalo Farini, viene approfondito lo studio dell’area attraverso le carte storiche e le trasformazioni che ha subito nel tempo, con il supporto dei piani regolatori.Particolare attenzione abbiamo dedicato alle emergenze storiche che caratterizzano l’area (cimitero monumentale e Villa Simonetta) studiando l’evoluzione che hanno avuto nel corso della storia, l’importanza che tutt’ora rivestono per la città.Inoltre lo studio della viabilità è stata importante per capire le trasformazioni che sono in atto a Milano. L’obiettivo è quello di dotare la città di un sistema infrastrutturale capillare ed efficiente.La ricerca storica di quest’area è stata fondamentale per la progettazione, in particolare ci ha permesso di capire quali sono le trame urbane più importanti che caratterizzano il progetto, che si pone come alternativa ai modi di costruzione della città contemporanea.Con il masterplan si ricerca un metodo che definisca un’idea di città in grado di modificare la città esistente, diventando un modello applicabile al territorio circostante.
In particolare abbiamo approfondito la parte più a nord dell’area, l’edificio lungo Via Valtellina, che si misura con la scala del contesto , mantiene la continuità della cortina stradale e si articola al sua interno grazie a un sistema di corti con spazialità differenti

No full textThe paper will focus on the analysis of Guido Crepax revolutionary comic book character Valentina that belongs to the golden age of the Italian comic-book genre fumetto. The aim is to explore whether Guido Crepax Valentina character was a "living doll" filling male fantasies of her creator or she was a woman empowered by her author struggling for many of the values of the women's culture that feminists today are trying to introduce into the mainstream. It also addresses research questions that focus on comic books and gender and empowerment at the decade of sexual liberation.Through Valentina case study the present paper is going to study an approach on the concept of woman in comics, and touch the border of female empowerment issue in contemporary world taking in consideration that her revolutionary strong and independent figure was born in a society where women have been frequently viewed as passive and represented as inferior to men and where questions of sexuality were considered taboo. Despite the fact that she angered some feminists by the way she was portrayed as an object of male gaze or a damsel in distress, there is nothing anti-feminist about Valentina. The aim here is to uncover feminist themes in the stories of Valentina and to explore what empowered her and made her a contemporary icon of style and symbol of liberated women
