Proceedings of the International Conference on previous termHydrogennext term Safety, 8–10 September 2005, Pisa, Paper 420064]. From the theoretical point of view a draft document has been produced beginning from the Italian regulations in force on the natural gas previous termpipelinesnext term; these have been reviewed, corrected and integrated with instructions suitable to use with previous termhydrogennext term gas. From the experimental point of view a suitable apparatus has been designed and installed at the University of Pisa; this apparatus will allow simulations of previous termhydrogennext term releases from a previous termpipelinenext term with or without ignition of the previous termhydrogennext term–air mixture. The experimental data will help the completion of the above-mentioned draft document with the instructions about the safety distances. However, in the opinion of the Group, the work on the text contents is concluded and the document is ready to be discussed with the Italian stakeholders involved in the previous termhydrogennext term applications

I Notai poeti salentini: Giovanni Grasso e Giorgio di Gallipoli.
Giovanni Grasso, imperial notary, βασιλικὸς γραμματικός and μαΐστωρ ἐπὶ τῶν δεήσων at the court of Frederick II, and Giorgio di Gallipoli, archivist (χαρτοφύλαξ) of the Church of Gallipoli, are best known as poets. They both came from a land, the Salento, which in the mid-12th and later in the 13th centuries was the last Hellenic-speaking cultural "frontier" for the Byzantine imperial tradition in the Mezzogiorno. The article aims to prove, on the "Greek" side, the link between poetry and the notarial function, which was a prominent feature at the court of Frederick II
Confronto fra suini “Casertana” e suoi derivati. III.
Simultaneous management of renal carcinoma with caval vein thrombosis and double coronary artery disease
Introduction: Recent advances in surgical and anesthesiology techniques allow simultaneous thoracic and abdominal operations to be performed for severe heart disease and benignant or malignant abdominal diseases. Case report: The simultaneous surgical management in a 75-year-old patient suffering from severe double coronary artery disease and a renal cell carcinoma with extended intravascular growth into the inferior vena cava is reported. Conclusion: The postoperative course was uneventful. Simultaneous surgery proved to be beneficial and safe, showing optimal results in our patient
Gyrofluid simulations of collisionless reconnection in the presence of diamagnetic effects
International audienceThe effects of the ion Larmor radius on magnetic reconnection are investigated by means of numerical simulations, with a Hamiltonian gyrofluid model. In the linear regime, it is found that ion diamagnetic effects decrease the growth rate of the dominant mode. Increasing ion temperature tends to make the magnetic islands propagate in the ion diamagnetic drift direction. In the nonlinear regime, diamagnetic effects reduce the final width of the island. Unlike the electron density, the guiding center density does not tend to distribute along separatrices and at high ion temperature, the electrostatic potential exhibits the superposition of a small scale structure, related to the electron density, and a large scale structure, related to the ion guiding-center density

Carrier transport mechanism in the SnO2:F/p-type a-Si:H heterojunction
We characterize SnO2:F/p-type a-Si:H/Mo structures by current-voltage (I-V) and capacitance-voltage (C-V) measurements at different temperatures to determine the transport mechanism in the SnO2:F/p-type a-Si:H heterojunction. The experimental I-V curves of these structures, almost symmetric
around the origin, are ohmic for |V| 0.1 V. The structure can be modeled as two diodes back to back connected so that the main current transport mechanisms are due to the reverse current of the diodes. To explain the measured C-V curves, the capacitance of the heterostructure is modeled as the series connection of the depletion capacitances of the two back to back connected SnO2:F/p-type a-Si:H and Mo/p-type a-Si:H junctions. We simulated the reverse I-V curves of the SnO2:F/p-type a-Si:H heterojunction at different
temperatures by using the simulation software SCAPS 2.9.03. In the model the main transport mechanism is generation of holes enhanced by tunneling by acceptor-type interface defects with a trap energy of 0.4 eV above the valence bandedge of the p-type a-Si:H layer and with a density of
4.0 10^13 cm^-2. By using I-V simulations and the proposed C-V model the built-in potential (Vbi) of the SnO2:F/p-type a-Si:H (0.16 V) and p-type a-Si:H/Mo (0.14 V) heterojunctions are extracted and a band diagram of the characterized structure is proposed
