Philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty was a highly political author. However, he is widely ignored in contemporary debates. It is argued that Political Theory can draw valuable insights from his work. His theory of perception and world can help us understand the ways in which the ‘sensus communis’ establishes a shared political reality as well as the dangers it encounters. His notion of a relational political interworld provides an alternative to theories that operate primarily in terms of identity and difference. Finally, his concept of history and freedom offers a way to think political action not as a radical event, but as embedded in a narrative which it transforms at the same time. Throughout the article, Merleau-Ponty is contrasted not only with Claude Lefort (his student) and Jean-Paul Sartre (his friend), but also with Hannah Arendt
Atención y Educación en Primera Infancia: Desafíos para el Educador: Early Childhood Care and Education: Challenges for Educators
This essay analyzes the factors that determine the efficiency of educators in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). It argues that such efficiency depends on three fundamental elements: specialized teacher training, the influence of sociocultural context, and educational relevance. In this regard, Blanco (2005); emphasizes that specialized training directly impacts children's integral development, while subsequently Araujo, Dormal, and Schady (2017); confirm better outcomes in children attended by qualified educators. Additionally, Adamson (2008): demonstrates how cultural context determines educational purposes: the United States emphasizes school preparation, while Nordic countries prioritize socioemotional skills and values. Similarly, Zapata and Ceballos (2010): underline that educational guidelines emerge from each nation's political and cultural order. Concerning relevance, researchers Pezo and Führer (2018): demonstrate the importance of responding to local realities. Finally, drawing upon Ancheta and Lázaro (2013): the essay concludes that an efficient educator must contribute to social democratization, guaranteeing equal opportunities for all children.

A method to Formalise the Rapid Prototyping Process
Facing the increasing complexity of the product design area, (reduction of cycle times, introduction of simultaneous engineering, introduction of digital mock-up, ... ) a research department which wants to define a rapid prototyping process is confronted to the problem of the tools’ choice. Therefore, we will propose in this article, a method allowing to conceive such a process. In a first chapter, we present the rapid prototyping area in the product design environment, in a second chapter we will propose our method illustrated by an industrial case

Supplementary Material for: Executive Impairments in Binge Drinking: Evidence for a Specific Performance-Monitoring Difficulty during Alcohol-Related Processing
This study evaluated inhibition and performance-monitoring abilities through the explicit processing of alcohol cues. Twenty-two binge drinkers (BD) and 22 control participants performed a speeded Go/No-Go task using pictures of alcohol and soft cans as Go and No-Go targets. This task measures inhibitory control and performance monitoring (i.e., task adjustment through errors and feedback processing) during the explicit processing of alcohol cues. Groups did not significantly differ regarding inhibition abilities. However, BD had poorer performance-monitoring abilities, reflected by a difficulty to adjust after errors, especially when these errors were related to alcohol cues. These findings suggest that the explicit processing of alcohol cues negatively impacts cognitive abilities among BD
From Powders to Dense Metal Parts: Characterization of a Commercial AlSiMg Alloy Processed through Direct Metal Laser Sintering
In this paper, a characterization of an AlSiMg alloy processed by direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) is presented, from the analysis of the starting powders, in terms of size, morphology and chemical composition, through to the evaluation of mechanical and microstructural properties of specimens built along different orientations parallel and perpendicular to the powder deposition plane. With respect to a similar aluminum alloy as-fabricated, a higher yield strength of about 40% due to the very fine microstructure, closely related to the mechanisms involved in this additive process is observe
Mode and Characteristics of Arrhythmia Initiation in Idiopathic Ventricular Fibrillation: A THESIS Substudy.
There is limited information on the mode of arrhythmia initiation in idiopathic ventricular fibrillation (IVF). A non-pause-dependent mechanism has been suggested to be the rule.
The aim of this study was to assess the mode and characteristics of initiation of polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (PVT) in patients with short or long-coupled PVT/IVF included in THESIS (THerapy Efficacy in Short or long-coupled idiopathic ventricular fibrillation: an International Survey), a multicenter study involving 287 IVF patients treated with drugs or radiofrequency ablation.
We reviewed the initiation of 410 episodes of ≥1 PVT triplet in 180 patients (58.3% females; age 39.6 ± 13.6 years) with IVF. The incidence of pause-dependency arrhythmia initiation (prolongation by >20 ms of the preceding cycle length) was assessed.
Most arrhythmias (n = 295; 72%) occurred during baseline supraventricular rhythm without ambient premature ventricular complexes (PVCs), whereas 106 (25.9%) occurred during baseline rhythm including PVCs. Nine (2.2%) arrhythmias occurred during atrial/ventricular pacing and were excluded from further analysis. Mode of PVT initiation was pause-dependent in 45 (15.6%) and 64 (60.4%) of instances in the first and second settings, respectively, for a total of 109 of 401 (27.2%). More than one type of pause-dependent and/or non-pause-dependent initiation (mean: 2.6) occurred in 94.4% of patients with ≥4 events. Coupling intervals of initiating PVCs were 500 ms in 76.6%, 20.72%, and 2.7% of arrhythmia initiations, respectively.
Pause-dependent initiation occurred in more than a quarter of arrhythmic episodes in IVF patients. PVCs having long (between 350 and 500 ms) and very long (>500 ms) coupling intervals were observed at the initiation of nearly a quarter of PVT episodes
