No full textEl objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la obra cantada del escritor uruguayo Mario Benedetti que permita conocer esta producción artística y valorarla con respecto al conjunto de su obra. Para ello, iniciaremos nuestro trabajo con un breve recorrido por la historia y principales características de la canción como género, para llegar finalmente a la época en la que Mario Benedetti inicia su colaboración con el mundo de la música. El tipo de composiciones que singularizan este periodo se adscriben a menudo a un movimiento conocido bajo distintas denominaciones: «canción protesta», «nueva canción», o «canción de autor», entre otras.
El estudio y contextualización de este fenómeno será fundamental para comprender la obra y los presupuestos artísticos del autor uruguayo.
Tras establecer este marco histórico y artístico pasaremos a centrarnos en la figura y obra de Mario Benedetti. Después de fijar las coordenadas artísticas y biográficas de nuestro escritor presentaremos el corpus de nuestra investigación, corpus que será a continuación minuciosamente analizado desde diferentes perspectivas.
Hasta ahora los juicios emitidos con respecto a esta sección de la obra de Benedetti no han tenido en cuenta un aspecto que, a nuestro parecer, resulta fundamental: la pertenencia de estos textos a un género distinto a la poesía: la canción. Por eso, a lo largo de esta parte de nuestro trabajo pondremos de relieve aquellos aspectos que, además de permitirnos valorar justamente los textos de Benedetti, podrán servir de base para la mejor comprensión del canto popular.
Terminaremos esta parte de nuestro trabajo con algunas reflexiones sobre otras colaboraciones artísticas que, sin poder ser consideradas canciones, o quedando fuera del periodo que abarca el movimiento musical de la nueva canción, constituyen, sin embargo, una muestra del interés del autor uruguayo por esta forma artística y por la experimentación con fórmulas de aproximación entre música y poesía.
De esta forma, una de las conclusiones más destacables de nuestro trabajo es que la canción, como intermediación entre música y poesía, establece a través de las manifestaciones desarrolladas dentro del movimiento de la nueva canción, un diálogo intertextual entre diferentes formas artísticas, pero también entre diferentes paradigmas culturales, reunificando, en cierto modo, dos tradiciones que durante siglos habían permanecido separadas.
El estudio del cancionero benedettiano, además de habernos permitido confirmar las afirmaciones expuestas más arriba, contribuye a iluminar una parte de la producción lírica del autor frecuentemente dejada de lado y considerada menor. Estas composiciones, estudiadas desde la perspectiva de su pertenencia a la forma artística de la canción —y no como mera vía de difusión de un corpus de poesía escrita— y puestas en relación con los principios de la canción protesta, dan muestra de una calidad literaria que, por un lado es coherente con los principios estéticos que Mario Benedetti desarrolla en toda su producción escrita, y, por otro lado, manifiesta unos valores propios que encuentran su vehículo idóneo a través del canto.
The objective of this research is to analyze the work song of Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti as to show the artistic production and value relative to the set of his work. To do this, we will begin our work with a brief overview of the history and main characteristics of the song as a genre, and finally to the time when Mario Benedetti began collaborating with the world of music. The type of compositions which distinguish this period is often ascribed to a movement known under different names: "protest song", "new song" or "song of author", among others.
The study and contextualization of this phenomenon will be essential to understand the work and the artistic budgets Uruguayan author.
After establishing this historical and artistic frame we will focus on the life and work of Mario Benedetti. After setting the artistic and biographical coordinates of our writer will present the corpus of our research corpus is then thoroughly analyzed from different perspectives.
Hitherto the judgments made regarding this section of the work of Benedetti failed to take into account an aspect that, in our view, is crucial: these texts belonging to a different genre of poetry: the song. Therefore, along this part of our work we will highlight those aspects which, besides allowing correctly judged the texts of Benedetti, will be the basis for a better understanding of popular song.
We end this part of our work with some reflections on other artistic collaborations, unable to be considered songs, or being outside the period covered by the musical movement of the new song, are, however, a sample of interest by the Uruguayan author art form and by experimenting with ways of rapprochement between music and poetry.
Thus, one of the most remarkable findings of our work is that the song, as intermediation between music and poetry, established through demonstrations developed within movement of the new song, an intertextual dialogue between different art forms, but also between different cultural paradigms, reuniting in a sense, two traditions that for centuries had remained separate.
The study benedettiano songs, plus allowing us to confirm the claims set out above, helps to illuminate a portion of the author's lyrical production often neglected and considered minor. These compositions, studied from the perspective of belonging to the art form of song-and not as mere means of dissemination of a body of poetry written-and placed in relation to the principles of the protest song, are evidence of a literary quality that, on the one hand is consistent with the aesthetic principles that Mario Benedetti develops throughout his written production, and on the other hand, expresses own values which find their ideal vehicle through song

Análisis de la trayectoria poética de Mario Benedetti
No full textEste trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar toda la trayectoria poética del poeta uruguayo Mario Benedetti, recogida en cuatro volúmenes: Inventario Uno, Inventario Dos, Inventario Tres e Inventario Cuatro. En primer lugar, se efectúa un estudio biográfico, que nos acerca a este escritor polifacético del siglo XX. En segundo lugar, se realiza un análisis temático de los poemas más significativos de los cuatro volúmenes publicados por el autor. Se analizan también los principales rasgos formales de su obra, así como las principales características de su métrica. Finalmente, se completa este estudio con el análisis de los principales recursos literarios empleados en los volúmenes mencionados. Las conclusiones nos acercan a los principales aspectos formales que caracterizan su obra, entre los que destacan los recursos de repetición. Todos ellos sirven para fraguar un vínculo ineludible con su lector.The objective of this research work is to analyze all the poetic trajectory of Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti, gathered in four volumes: Inventario Uno, Inventario Dos, Inventario Tres and Inventario Cuatro. Firstly, we will start with the study of three biographies which bring us closer to this multifaceted writer of the twentieth century. Secondly, we will analyze different topics (exile, love, death...) in the most significant poems from the four volumes published by the author. Moreover, we will analyze the main formal features, as well as the main characteristics of his metrics. Finally, we complete this study with the analysis of the main literary devices used by the author in the mentioned volumes. The conclusions bring us closer to the main formal aspects which typify his work, being the repetition devices the most remarkable ones: parallelism, anaphora…All of them allow to forge an inescapable link with his beloved reader.Tesis Univ. Por una rentabilización pedagógica en la obra de Benedetti: etnología narrativa y situaciones de vida-salud
No full textNarrative is a gender form in which characters express themselves with no other limit than that imposed by the author himself. The purpose of the present research is the use of narrative as a means of better understanding the diverse situations faced by people within the immense framework of health and illness. It is within the boundaries of this context that the narrative and poetic work of Benedetti reveals its pedagogical and anthropological potential. Our present study takes advantage of the poet\u27s narrative material as a vehicle with which one may interpret situations of health versus illness, where moods, sensations, feelings, expectancies, fears, hopes and knowledge all meet.La narrativa como género en el que se expresan las vivencias de personajes sin más prevenciones ni limitaciones que las impuestas por el autor, constituye un material de primera magnitud para abordar con garantías el problema de esta investigación: la comprensión de las situaciones por las que pasan las personas (los personajes) en situaciones comprendidas dentro del amplio y casi infinito intervalo salud-enfermedad, y, es en este contexto de esfuerzo hermenéutico donde la obra narrativa y poética de Benedetti revela su potencial pedagógico y antropológico. Este trabajo hay que encuadrarlo en el marco compuesto por la progresiva utilización del material narrativo como vehículo facilitador de la interpretación de situaciones de S-E en las que se conjugan estados de ánimo, sensaciones, expectativas, miedos, esperanzas, conocimientos, etc. El trabajo se ha desarrollado mediante el análisis de contenido de los textos siguiendo las orientaciones aportadas por la etnología narrativa (GEERTZ. 1982; BENNER.,1992 ) y la fenomenología (BLUMER, 1982; RIEHLSISCA, 1992). El material ha estado compuesto por varias obras de Benedetti entre las que, por su temática, destacamos: "la muerte", "El fin de la disnea", "datos para el viudo" "Mis amnesia", "Péndulo", "Réquiem con tostada" y otras). En conclusión, se puede afirmar que la narrativa y la poesía de Benedetti constituyen un instrumento de comprensión antropológico y fenomenológico de los significados que se dan en la vida cotidiana y, especialmente, de situaciones comprometidas dentro del intervalo compuesto por el binomio salud-enfermedad, contribuyendo a descodificar los significados que se producen en el transcurso de tales situaciones, no ya en una comunidad concreta, ni en un conjunto de éstas, sino, sobre todo en el propio individuo, dado que el ser humano es, sobre todo, un animal hermenéutico y cultural (CORBI, 1983)

[“Blood covenant”] by Mario Benedetti. The starting point for this study are the secrets revealed in the
story. After, the story is analyzed in terms of: beginning, development, ending, human condition, intensity,
tension, atmosphere, primary story, secondary story. These elements enable the study of the literary
treatment of the principal topic: the abandonment of a grandfather and the love of his grandson. Finally,
we present conclusions about the poetics implicit in this story and elements for creative research; as well
as a short story written by the author based on this study.Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la problemática de composición del cuento Pacto de sangre de Mario Benedetti. Se toman como punto de partida los secretos que va revelando el cuento. Luego se emplean las siguientes nociones para realizar un estudio en cuanto a su elaboración: inicio, desarrollo, final, condición humana, intensidad, tensión, atmósfera, primera historia, segunda historia. Dichos elementos permiten hacer un acercamiento sobre el tratamiento literario del tema central: el abandono de un abuelo y el cariño por su nieto. Finalmente, se presentan unas conclusiones sobre la poética implícita en este relato y elementos para la investigacióncreación, así como el cuento escrito por el autor a partir de este estudio.
