Bulus, Erdi (Arel Author), İsmik, Deniz (Arel Author), Mansuroğlu, Demet Sezgin (Arel Author), Şahin, Yeşim Müge (Arel Author)Apatitic phosphates are considered within the category of bioceramics. HA and its derives are used of in the fields of medicine, orthopedics and dentistry in order to support a grow up of new bone cells. HA structures have a high biocompability and are widely in biomedical applications. On the other hand, synthesis of HA structures necessitates complex technologies (microwave sintering, hydrothermal synthesis etc.) and their production costs high. This study aims the production of nano apatitic structures with great biocompability from a natural material. Simple hotplate method was used to obtain natural, nano scale HA from eggshells. After calcination and sintering processes at different temperatures, the obtained apatitic phosphate powders have been structurally characterized by infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Morphological investigation has been conducted by FEG-SEM images. Biological investigations have been carried out for the produced nanosized bioceramics and the results reveal that these nanomaterials are promising for tissue engineering purposes

The problems of Gymnastics
All of them agree in thinking of Gymnastics as a fundamental part of a Body Education that aims at transmitting culturally significant knowledge of the body which help as tool for knowledge, care and self-management of the body. From these points of agreement, each author develops its specific gymnastics topic: either from research and analysis of public outreach and academic texts, the discourse of teachers, students and trainees, or the critical analysis of current gymnastics field; also from concrete proposals of work in gymnastics, in this case, aerobics, functional gymnastics, Pilates Method or gymnastics in a Physical Education career projected towards school gymnasticsFil: Bulus Rossini, Viviana. Specialoperation som begrepp : Skiljer sig definitionen beroende på vilket lands operationer som studerats?
Since the 1980s there has been an increase in the use of special operations and special forces. Although some theorists would say that the use of special operation is as old as the art of war, the scientific study in this subject is not extensive. The author of this dissertation have identified that the concept special operations is defined in different ways and that there seems to be a discrepancy in how the concept is understood among theorists. Harry Yarger, who has written a theory of American special operations states that there is a difference in how other countries conduct special operations. If that is true, definitions of special operations should vary according to nation. The first purpose of this study is to examine chosen definitions of special operations and to identify what differs and what is similar. The second purpose is to see if there is a connection between how the concept is defined and a which category it belongs to. The studied definitions are here categorized according to studies of cases and/or doctrines from one specified nation or several nations. At least two different definitions were chosen in each category, that way the author could compare the definitions within a category to see if they are consistent with each other. By identifying differences and similarities the authors intent was also to find what traits links the three different categories in order to be able to develop a more uniform definition of the concept special operation. The analysis has shown that there are many differences between categories as well as within categories and therefore the conclusion is indecisive – the author has not been able to establish if or not the there is a connection between how the concept is defined and a category. However, those similarities found in every category has been used to make a suggestion to a more uniform definition of special operations: Special operations are of an unorthodox nature. The purpose of these operations are to solve significant political and military problems. Missions can include time limited attacks aiming to destroy, seize, recover or exploit chosen objects. Special operations are conducted by special forces.
CONCEPT AND TERMINOLOGY IN BULUSAR-RAHIB’ THEOLOGY

It is the intention of the author to clarify the theological terminology used by Arabic Christian authors of this period and to indicate its peculiarities in comparison with the terminology employed by the Greek father
EVALUATING ECOLOGICAL IMPACTS AND ATMOSPHERIC FATE OF MICROPLASTICS: ECOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES AND CHALLENGES
Plastic pollution has emerged as a critical global issue, with the impacts of microplastics (MPs) on ecosystems becoming increasingly significant. These microscopic plastic particles pose severe threats to ecological systems and their atmospheric fate. The formation of MPs is a complex process influenced by a variety of sources. Their distribution is significantly affected by atmospheric dynamics, including wind and weather events, leading to their deposition on the Earth's surface through rain, snow, and dust. Consequently, MPs infiltrate both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, accumulating in water bodies, soil, and plant life, thereby posing potential risks to human health via trophic transfer. Understanding the fate of MPs in the atmosphere is crucial, yet information on this topic remains limited. This study aims to address this gap by investigating the ecological impacts of MPs and their atmospheric behavior. Additionally, it highlights the analysis methods used to detect the adverse effects of MP pollution on the environment and ecosystems. The study also discusses the misinformation arising from various analytical techniques, the environmental threats posed by both MP and non-MP substances due to misinformation, and the challenges in maintaining quality control during analysis.By addressing these current limitations, this study provides a foundation for future research and policy development, emphasizing the need for accurate analysis methods and comprehensive understanding of MP pollution. This work not only underscores the urgent need to mitigate MP pollution but also sets the stage for developing effective strategies to address this pervasive environmental challeng

Production and characterization of non-leaching antimicrobial and hydrophilic polycaprolactone based nanofiber mats
Novel antimicrobial and hydrophilic nanofiber biomaterial was fabricated with a combination of surface modification and nanotechnology, in this study. For this purpose, firstly poly(lactic acid) (PLA) bearing quaternary ammonium salt as an antimicrobial agent on its backbone in the rates of 5% by mole were successfully fabricated with a combination of ring-opening copolymerization and copper(I)-catalysed azide-–alkyne cycloaddition click reaction in a two-step reaction procedure. Then, this synthesized polymer was blended into polycaprolactone (PCL) matrix in three different proportions via electrospining technique. The prepared nanofiber mats were then characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and contact angle analysis. In addition, thermal properties of mats were examined through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) experiments. Its importance as an antimicrobial biomaterial was analyzed using Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli) which were types of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, respectively. As a result, it was observed that as the rate of antimicrobial polymer in the nanofiber material increased, its antimicrobial activity against both bacteria also increased. As a result of the highest blending ratio of antimicrobial PLA copolymer, the bacterial population amount decreased by 99.5% and 92% for S. aureus and E. coli, respectively, as compared to neat PCL nanofiber mat. Besides, thermal properties of PCL nanofiber mats did not changed negatively after the blending process, even char yield increased slightly with increasing rate of antimicrobial PLA content. Also, the results showed that the blending of PCL nanofiber mat with antimicrobial PLA having quaternary ammonium salts on its backbone maked it highly hydrophilic. © 2021 Elsevier Lt
