No full textktisadi düşüncenin bir “üç büyükleri” varsa, onlardan biri John Maynard Keynes’tir, uzmanlar bunda hemfikir (diğerleri, Adam Smith ve Karl Marx). Keynes, üç büyüklerin en “genci”, en moderni. Elinizdeki kitap, bu büyük iktisat düşünürünün 20. yüzyıla damgasını vuran etkisini incelemekle kalmıyor, bu düşünsel mirasın hâlâ güncel olan verimlerini tartışmaya açıyor. Keynes’in para teorisine bakışı, “istikrarsızlık” meselesinin onun düşüncesinin seyrindeki yeri gibi, iktisatçıları ve iktisat öğrencilerini ilgilendiren teknik konular, sadece meslek erbabına değil genel okura da hitap ederek gözden geçiriliyor kitapta. Onun liberalizm geleneği içindeki konumunun incelenmesi, bizzat bu düşünce geleneğinin tarihi hakkında bir muhasebeye ışık tutuyor. Rigid polyurethane foams with halogen‐free flame retardants: Thermal insulation, mechanical, and flame retardant properties
No full textAkdogan, Emre/0000-0003-1505-9323; Ureyen, Mustafa Erdem/0000-0002-9055-3228WOS: 000488228100015Rigid polyurethane foam (RPUF) composites with triphenyl phosphate (TPhP), aluminum trihydrate (ATH), and zinc borate (ZnB) alone, as well as their binary blends, were prepared via a one-shot process. the amount of flame retardant (FR) or FR blend was varied from 10 to 50% by polyol weight percentage, and the weight fraction of the blends was also fixed at 40%. the effects of additives on thermal insulation, mechanical, and flame retardancy properties of the composites were investigated. Thermal conductivity of the neat foam (RPUF) decreased from 22.53 to 21.04-21.58 mW m(-1) K-1. the compressive strength of foams displayed an increase with increasing the amount of TPhP, ATH, and ZnB till 40% by weight. the limited oxygen index values of all foams increased and the flame spread rates of all foams significantly decreased. It was also observed that the flame was self-extinguished in some cases. the cone calorimeter test results indicated that the FR additives improved the flame retardancy of the RPUF. Get PDFDetecting pathogens and mounting immune responses upon infection is crucial for animal health. However, these responses come at a high metabolic price (McKean and Lazzaro, 2011, Kominsky et al., 2010), and avoiding pathogens before infection may be advantageous. The bacterial endotoxins lipopolysaccharides (LPS) are important immune system infection cues (Abbas et al., 2014), but it remains unknown whether animals possess sensory mechanisms to detect them prior to infection. Here we show that Drosophila melanogaster display strong aversive responses to LPS and that gustatory neurons expressing Gr66a bitter receptors mediate avoidance of LPS in feeding and egg laying assays. We found the expression of the chemosensory cation channel dTRPA1 in these cells to be necessary and sufficient for LPS avoidance. Furthermore, LPS stimulates Drosophila neurons in a TRPA1-dependent manner and activates exogenous dTRPA1 channels in human cells. Approach for siting a support facility for transporting supplies in emergency cases in the Republic of Bulgaria
Get PDFIn this paper, the author determines the most suitable transportation location for intervention in a large scale disaster in the Republic of Bulgaria, by means of the Weber Problem and the Weiszfeld method. The objective is to minimise the cost of transporting emergency supplies across the country by locating a support facility, and thus reaching the area of event at the lowest possible cost. A brief description of the Weiszfeld method is provided in the paper. Further, using recent population data of both provinces and municipalities, the method is applied respectively to obtain the results. They were compared in terms of spatial correspondence and the final facility location was fixed. Erecting the supply site is recommended to help decrease the losses

Bu işbirliğinin sağlanması için ise hem yönetimin (örgütün) hem de çalışanın birbirlerinin beklentilerini karşılıklı olarak karşılaması gerekmektedir. İşte psikolojik sözleşme, çalışan ile yönetim arasında daha işe alım sürecinde yapıldığı varsayılan, çoğu zaman konuşulmayan, üstü örtülü kalan, karşılıklı beklentileri temel alan, öznellik ve değişkenlik gösteren psikolojik anlaşmayı ifade etmektedir. Örgütün ya da çalışanın bu beklentileri karşılamasındaki başarısızlık ise psikolojik sözleşmenin ihlal edilmesi anlamına gelmektedir. Psikolojik sözleşmenin ihlali ile birlikte çalışanın örgüte ve yönetime karşı olan tutum ve davranışlarında bazı olumsuz durumlar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bunlar yalnızca gerginlik ve huzursuzluktan başlayıp, anti sosyal davranışlara, biçimsel ve fazladan rol performasında düşüşlere ve hatta örgüt ile ilişkinin sonlandırılmasına kadar gidebilmektedir. In the case of employee’s or organization’s failure about meeting the expectations, means the violation of psychological contract. By the violaiton of psychological contract, some negativity emerge on employee’s attitude and behaviours towards the organization. These may start with simpy anxiety or uneasiness of mind and may follow to anti-social behaviours, decline in-role and extra-role performance, even termination of the relation with the organization. Comparing clusterings and numbers of clusters by aggregation of calibrated clustering validity indexes

Different clusterings are optimal on the same data set according to different criteria, and the choice of such criteria depends on the context and aim of clustering. Therefore, researchers need to consider what data analytic characteristics the clusters they are aiming at are supposed to have, among others within-cluster homogeneity, between-clusters separation, and stability. Here, a set of internal clustering validity indexes measuring different aspects of clustering quality is proposed, including some indexes from the literature. Users can choose the indexes that are relevant in the application at hand. In order to measure the overall quality of a clustering (for comparing clusterings from different methods and/or different numbers of clusters), the index values are calibrated for aggregation. Calibration is relative to a set of random clusterings on the same data.
