MODEL KESUKSESAN PRODUK SANITER
A company that manufactures home decorations and sanitary product had not been able to achieve the expected production utility. It was indicated by the installed production capacity (in the sink) in 2013 that had not been completely consumed. Therefore, studies that explored customer needs and their corresponding levels of customer satisfaction need to be done. Furthermore, the two main indicators of the success of these products (achieving the desired product quality and customer satisfaction) can be an entrance for achieving higher sales (long-term product success). This study was conducted in several stages with the type of product selected as the research object was the sink. First, the quality attributes of the sink on 8 dimensions of product quality (performance, aesthetics, features, conformance, reliability, durability, serviceability, and perceived quality) were identified. Second, the important level of the quality attributes were dug by questionnaires submitted to the Indonesian respondents and foreign respondents. Third, the sink quality attributes were grouped into the classification of quality attributes by the Kano model for the two groups of respondent by questionnaires. This study gave some results. First, the 90 % of the average important level of the sink quality attributes was between ‘important’ and ‘extremely important.’ Secondly, the survey that used the Kano model indicated that (1) performance was must-be quality attributes for Indonesian and foreign consumers, (2) the quality attributes of aesthetics that were not indifferent quality attributes were classified into attractive quality attributes, except excellence drainage was classified into must-be quality attributes, (3) features could improve customer satisfaction quickly through item ‘the sink price is competitive’ for both Indonesian and foreign consumers, (4) the durable sink color and scratch resistant in reliability linearly increased customer satisfaction with the fulfillment of the requirements for both the consumer groups, (5) the quality attribute ‘materials that are for maintenance are included when buying the sink’ of serviceability could increase consumer satisfaction very quickly to the both type of customers, and (6) the higher reputation of the company the higher customer satisfaction
Evaluasi Jaringan Kerja (Network Planning) Menggunakan Critical Path Method (CPM) untuk Optimalisasi Waktu Produksi pada PT. XYZ
Di era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini, industri di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang pesat, perencanaan dan
pengendalian produksi sangat diperlukan untuk menghindari
adanya pembengkakan biaya produksi agar produksi dapat meningkat. Hal yang perlu dianalisa untuk jaringan kerja yang mempunyai jalur kritis, karena kegiatan pada jalur kritis tersebut memungkinkan banyak menggunakan waktu, sehingga dikhawatirkan penyelesaian proses produksi mengalami keterlambatan. PT. XYZ memproduksi berbagai macam produk berbahan dasar kulit berkualitas tinggi dimana konsumen membeli dengan cara by order. Jalur kritis atau CPM adalah jalur terpanjang pada suatu jaringan dan waktunya menjadi waktu penyelesaian minimum yang diharapkan untuk masing-masing alternatif. Jalur kritis adalah jalur yang terdiri dari beberapa rangkaian kegiatan yang kritis. Dengan menggunakan metode CPM pada poroses produksi terdapat 15 jalur kegiatan, yang merupakan jalur kritis dari 15 kegiatan itu adalah kegiatan pemotongan kulit, penyesetan kulit, penempelan body belakang dengan busa hitam, penempelan body depan dan belakang dengan furing, penempelan body lengkap sebelum base, penempelan base ke body, penjahitan body belakang dan depan tas, penjahitan sekat bagian dalam, pengecekan dan pemasangan handle tas. Perhitungan waktu standar yang optimal dalam penyelesaian satu unit produk tas kulit adalah 68,83 menit dan perhitungan waktu kritis adalah 42,77 menit
Penentuan Jalur Distribusi Gas LPG dengan Metode Savings Matrix dan Nearest Neighbor pada PT. XYZ
Distribusi merupakan suatu cara perusahaan agar dapat melakukan proses pengiriman dengan tepat. Oleh karena ini pengembangan sistem distribusi sangat dibutuhkan untuk pengembangan bagi perusahaan. PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pendistribusian Gas LPG dari gudang ke pelanggan yang berada di wilayah kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan PT. XYZ sendiri yaitu penentuan dalam rute distribusi yang belum berjalan baik, dikarenakan jarak pangkalan yang cukup jauh menyebabkan tingginya biaya distribusi. Untuk mengatasi masalah pada PT. XYZ, maka diperlukan penerapan metode Savings Matrix dan metode Nearest Neighbor yang digunakan untuk menentukan jalur dan jarak dari gudang ke pangkalan berdasarkan kapasitas alat angkut serta melakukan proses penghematan biaya distribusi untuk penekanan biaya. Tujuan dari penelitian kali ini untuk mendapatkan jalur atau rute distribusi yang tepat dan mendapatkan penghematan biaya distribusi dengan membandingkan setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada PT. XYZ. Dari hasil perhitungan dan analisis yang diperoleh setelah dilakukan perbaikan menunjukan bahwa jarak tempuh sejauh 4.945 kilometer dengan biaya distribusi Rp22.525.500. Penghematan jarak yang dihasilkan setelah dilakukan perbaikan adalah 24% atau 1.540 Kilometer, sedangkan penghematan biaya distribusi yang dihasilkan adalah 6% atau Rp1.315.950,-/bulan.
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Pelatihan Perancangan Part 3 Dimensi dengan Autodesk Inventor
Perancangan part tiga dimensi telah berkembang dengan pesat dan semakin mudah dengan kehadiran software design seperti Autodesk Inventor. Oleh karena itu, perkembangan teknologi tersebut perlu untuk disampaikan dan diperkenalkan kepada para siswa SMK agar para siswa semakin peka dan paham terhadap kemajuan perkembangan teknologi tersebut sehingga para siswa semakin mantap dalam memasuki dunia kerja atau perguruan tinggi. Pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk memperkenalkan Autodesk Inventor kepada para siswa Kelas XII SMK Kanisius 1 Pakem. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan zoom meeting selama 2 jam karena dilaksanakan pada pandemi COVID-19. Pelatihan ini dilakukan oleh tiga dosen Insitut Sains & Teknologi AKPRIND. Pelatihan ini diawali dengan pemberian tutorial pembuatan sketsa dua dimensi benda kerja, pembangunan part tiga dimensi, pembuatan gambar teknik (engineering drawing) per part, dan diakhiri dengan pembuatan gambar rakitan (assembly drawing) dengan software tersebut. Pelatihan ini mampu memberikan dampak kepada para siswa tersebut yang ditunjukkan dengan 50% dari siswa tersebut mampu paham terhadap materi pelatihan yang telah diberikan. Pelatihan selanjutnya perlu untuk dilaksanakan agar pemahaman siswa semakin merata dalam memanfaatkan software tersebut.
