No full textÉtienne Bloch (1921-2009) dedicó los últimos años de su vida al rescate y difusión de la obra escrita por su padre, el gran historiador francés Marc Bloch (1886-1944). Desde 1997 hasta su muerte en 2009, impulsó el estudio crítico de la historiografía blochiana a través de la creación de la Asociación Marc Bloch, la edición crítica de sus obras y el impulso de estudios sobre la vida de su padre gracias a la apertura de sus archivos familiares. Es un hecho extraordinario, casi sin precedentes, que el hijo de un gran historiador, sin conocer inicialmente el oficio, se transforme en uno de los más importantes conocedores y críticos de la obra de uno de los historiadores más importantes del siglo XX, a escala universal. Los más de 20 álbumes que Marc Ribot ha lanzado a lo largo de su carrera cubren un amplio territorio, desde el jazz pionero de Albert Ayler con su grupo Spiritual Unity (Pi Recordings), hasta el son cubano de Arsenio Rodríguez con dos aclamadas producciones del sello Atlantic Records bajo el nombre Marc Ribot y los cubanos postizos.

Més concretament, vol estudiar com històricament els països, en el nostre cas l’imperi britànic, han utilitzat el pensament econòmic mercantilista i lliurecanvista com a armes de hard i soft power. Tanmateix, per a poder demostrar això, primer haurem de dotar-nos d’un important marc teòric, que ens ajudarà a entendre tots aquells conceptes tècnics relacionats amb l’economia i les Relacions Internacionals. Posteriorment, al cas pràctic, recuperarem tots els conceptes i els veurem plasmats en un cas real, el britànic. Per a realitzar el present assaig ens nodrirem d’una extensa bibliografia, tant a nivell econòmic com de Relacions Internacionals. Així mateix, farem una revisió històrica de la Gran Bretanya i d’Europa, que ens permetrà contrastar el grau d'adequació de la nostre hipòtesi inicial amb la realitat del cas. In order to keep consistency with the general UK MARC format, standard UK MARC subject fields are not included in this document, since they should be taken from the latest version of the UK MARC manual. {A note of them should perhaps be included in UK MARC AMC.} {NB Text in braces is intended to be explanatory material for readers of this draft}. Certain other fields have not been included that might occasionally be used in the cataloguing of archival materials but would generally only be used for such materials in organizations which were combining archive
databases with library databases. This MARC version is intended for use with descriptions of archive or anuscript material that follow, or fit, the traditional style of cataloguing: we assume that these will normally relate
to paper or parchment originals. It is not intended for use with descriptions of other kinds of material. For these, fields may be drawn from the appropriate UK MARC document.
