abstract: This article consists of an analysis of the demographic characteristics of the authors, reviewers, and editorial committee members for this particular journal over its first twenty years of existence (1980-1999). Among the various findings were that most authors and reviewers were men, and all geographic regions were represented, though not all of them proportionately
