La batteria Valdilocchi alla Spezia, rilievo digitale e documentazione di un’architettura alla fine di un’epoca
No full text[EN] All the fortifications have their time. They respond to specific way of defending and attacking they
change in time accordingly to the terrible habits of the weaponry and technology evolution. For a long
time, from the age of the great fortifications, to the use of cannons, to the invention of the aerial war,
the military built heritage have seen a long transformation made of sudden architectural changes, until
the moment when the possibility of bombing and attacking from the sky signed the sunset of the large
over ground buildings in favour of mimetic and underground structures. The “Valdilocchi Battery” belong to the last age of the large fortress, capable to resist to ground attack while showing the aspect of
an inexpugnable stronghold. Sited on the top of a hill in the eastern part of the La Spezia gulf, this battery had the function of second line defense to control the neighboring valleys. The particular pentagonal plant and the state of excellent preservation, except for a part of collapse on the front of the gorge

CGU e o efeito de realidade: uma economia memética
No full textBased on initial proposals from previous works (REITANO, 2021) – in which the dispute of narrative versions in digital videogame forums, via production and propagation of multimedia material, is one of the strategies used by conspiracist ideologies inside such forums – this article aims to update said conclusions, through a comparison between UGCs – User Generated Contents (SHIFMAN, 2020) – and several visual objects developed inside Overwatch forums. For this analysis, this paper draws from concepts such as the memetic continuum (MARINO, 2018), visual semiotics (FRAENZA, 2017) and the perception of realism (McCLOUD, 1995) as its theoretical foundations. From the adhesion of these new results to conclusions based on previous research, this article postulates that the effect of realism generates a “visual economy” within the digital forum, in which memetic popularity is used to co-opt UGCs with greater realism effect, serving the narrative disputes that are characteristic of the fandom space.A partir de propostas iniciais realizadas em trabalhos anteriores (REITANO, 2021) – de que a disputa de versões narrativas em fóruns digitais de jogos, via produção e propagação de peças multimídia, é uma das estratégias utilizadas por correntes ideológicas conspiracionistas dentro de tais fóruns – o presente artigo busca atualizar tais conclusões, a partir de uma proposta de comparações entre CGUs – Conteúdos Gerados por Usuários (SHIFMAN, 2020) – e diversas peças produzidas nos fóruns do jogo de videogame Overwatch. Este trabalho mobiliza, para tal análise, o continuum memético (MARINO, 2018), a semiótica visual (FRAENZA, 2017) e a percepção de realismo (McCLOUD, 1995). A partir da adesão desses novos resultados às conclusões prévias, este artigo postula que o efeito de realidade pode exercer um papel de “economia” dentro do fórum digital, no qual a popularidade memética é usada para cooptar CGUs com maior efeito de realidade, servindo às disputas narrativas características do espaço de fandom

Currently available effective treatments of the diseased or damaged central nervous system (CNS) are restricted to a limited pharmacol. relief of symptoms or those given to avoid further damage. Therefore the search is on for treatments that can restore function in the CNS. During recent years replacement of damaged neurons by cell transplantation is being enthusiastically explored as a potential treatment for many neurodegenerative diseases, stroke and traumatic brain injury. Several refs. in both scientific journals and popular newspapers concerning different types of cultured stem cells, potentially exploitable to treat pathol. conditions of the brain, raise important questions pertinent to the fundamental and realistic differences between grafts of primary neural cells and the transplantation of in vitro expanded neural stem cells (NSCs). No full textLo sviluppo del territorio è oggetto di vivo interesse nel mondo accademico e sempre più la competitività delle imprese dipende anche dalle relazioni dinamiche dei sistemi territoriali. La valorizzazione di un sistema territoriale, che si basa sul patrimonio di risorse e competenze disponibili, richiede sia interventi mirati e globali di natura economica e sociale, sia processi organizzativi e aggregativi tra i soggetti che costituiscono il tessuto sociale e produttivo. Le relazioni che si instaurano tra gli attori e il sistema territoriale di riferimento insieme alle caratteristiche geo-morfologiche del territorio, l'efficienza della pubblica amministrazione, il livello qualitativo del servizio pubblico, la dotazione infrastrutturale, il tessuto produttivo locale, il patrimonio artistico-culturale, diventano fattori dai quali, allorché opportunamente sviluppati e valorizzati, è possibile trarre un significativo vantaggio competitivo aziendale
