Um olhar foucaultiano sobre a loucura e a família: análise de práticas discursivas que constituem o discurso anti-manicomial

Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguística.Neste trabalho, discuto a maneira pela qual 'loucura' e 'família' são produzidas arqueológica e genealogicamente pelo discurso anti-manicomial. Tal discurso é constituído por quatro práticas discursivas, que são consideradas no decorrer da dissertação: a psicanálise, a teoria da hereditariedade, a neurociência e a terapia sistêmica. A partir de um olhar foucaultiano, analiso essas práticas no que diz respeito à maneira pela qual elas recortam/produzem # politicamente # a loucura e a família como objetos de saber. Para a realização da análise utilizo as seguintes ferramentas, oferecidas por Foucault: noção de poder; noção de procedimentos para configuração de saber; e também um pequeno histórico acerca do nascimento do asilo e do discurso anti-manicomial para contextualizar esse discurso e os saberes que o constituem. Por fim, realço a discussão política e arqueológica que atravessou a realização desse trabalho
DOCÊNCIA NA EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR: POLÍTICAS CONTEMPORÂNEAS DE FORMAÇÃO NO BRASIL
No full textA pesquisa propõe compreender a educação como uma política pública e, na perspectiva de construção da governamentalidade de Estado, inquirir as políticas nacionais de formação docente para o Ensino Superior. O objetivo, por sua vez, consiste em investigar as diferentes configurações para a formação docente adotadas nos programas stricto sensu das Universidades do Sistema Associação Catarinense das Fundações Educacionais - ACAFE. Na fase inicial, a pesquisa foi documental na medida em que recorreu aos documentos (MEC-CAPES) e aos sites dos Programas de Pós-Graduação investigados. No entanto, apesar de configurar-se menos como um modo de tratamento dos dados e mais como uma análise, o método de pesquisa é genealógico na medida em que constitui-se como um modo de interpretação assentado nas contribuições teóricas de Michel Foucault. Considera-se que as políticas públicas educacionais brasileiras vieram numa linha de continuidade e descontinuidades, e que a formação docente foi governamentalizada pela ação de biopolíticas que orientaram políticas públicas específicas. No caso da ACAFE, as disparidades estão presentes no que tange ao oferecimento de disciplinas e estágios docentes, quando não ausente a formação docente
Collection and Processing of Behavioural Data of the Olive Fruit Fly, Bactrocera oleae, When Exposed to Olive Twigs Treated with Different Commercial Products
No full textThe need for the development of sustainable control methods of herbivorous insects implies that new molecules are proposed on the market. Among the different effects the new products may have on the target species, the alteration of insect oviposition behaviour might be considered. At the scope, parallel simple behavioural assays can be conducted in arena. Freely available software can be used to track observed events, but they often need intensive customization to the specific experimental design. Hence, integrating such software with, e.g., R environment, can provide a much more effective protocol development for data collection and analysis. Here we present a dataset and protocol for processing data of the oviposition behaviour of the olive fruit fly, Bactrocera oleae, when exposed to olive twigs treated with different commercial products. Treatments were rock powder, propolis, a mixture of rock powder and propolis, copper oxychloride, copper sulphate, and water as the experimental control. JWatcher was used to simultaneously collect data from 12 arena assays and ad-hoc developed R code was used to process raw data for data analyses. The procedure described here is novel and represents a valuable and transferable protocol to analyse observational events in B. oleae, as well as other biological systems

Field and Laboratory Efficacy of Low-Impact Commercial Products in Preventing Olive Fruit Fly, Bactrocera oleae, Infestation
No full textThe olive fruit fly, Bactrocera oleae, is the key pest of olive trees in several areas of the world. Given the need for the development of sustainable control methods, preventive tools, based on the manipulation of pest behaviour, must be considered. Here, under field and laboratory conditions, we tested the efficacy of different products in preventing B. oleae infestation. A field trial was conducted, from July to November 2020, in an olive orchard located in Central Italy. A table olive variety was selected and sprayed with rock powder, propolis, the mixture of both, copper oxychloride, or water (control). All treatments, except propolis, caused a reduction of B. oleae oviposition in olives, compared to the control. The mixture allowed the strongest reduction of fly infestation throughout the season, suggesting a synergistic effect. Behavioural no-choice assays were conducted to better understand the effects of treatments on B. oleae females. Compared to the control, females showed a lower preference for the central area of an arena containing an olive twig bearing two olive fruits, fully developed, but still green, treated with rock powder, plus propolis mixture. For all treatments, B. oleae showed lower oviposition events, suggesting deterrence to oviposition. Our results indicate that the tested products may have value against B. oleae, within integrated pest management (IPM) and organic agriculture

Gloss retention of direct composites and corresponding CAD/CAM composite blocks
No full textObjectives: To compare gloss retention of four different resin composites with their corresponding CAD/CAM composite blocks. Materials and methods: Four direct resin composites (Filtek Supreme XTE A2 Body (3M, USA), Tetric EvoCeram A2 (Ivoclar Vivadent, Liechtenstein), GrandioSO x-tra A2 (VOCO, Germany), G-aenial Universal A2 (GC, Japan)), and their corresponding CAD/CAM composite blocks were tested. A total of 288 samples were prepared and three different tests were performed: brushing, exposition to acidic fluoride gel and exposition to alcoholic solution. Gloss values were obtained by means of a glossmeter at T0 before aging and T60 after 1 h of aging. Results: Mean gloss values ranged from 0.9 after brushing tests to 79.0 after the alcohol test witnessing a high gloss variability depending on the materials and the aging test. Statistical analysis by means of two-way repeated measures ANOVA followed by Fisher's LSD post-hoc test revealed significant differences between materials, storage media, and their interactions. Conclusion: Gloss retention seems to be dependent on the composite type (direct or CAD/CAM block) and composite brand and varies in respect to the type of aging. CAD/CAM materials showed a higher resistance toward alcohol exposure

No full textA central guiding principle for the new standard for cataloging, RDA, is the idea that different types of material should be treated the same. However, for all objects to be cataloged there will always exist characteristics specific to their type, which are intrinsic to their formal description. Add to this the data model FRBR which forms the structural basis of RDA, and the consequence is that catalog entries form highly complex structures. This complexity will be addressed in a conceptual model for catalog entries. Additionally, it is possible to propose a general workflow for cataloging which covers all types of materials
