No full textAlper Yıkıcı (MEF Author)In this paper, a 2D finite volume analysis methodology was used to predict temperature development within three different bridge pier caps. MATLAB® was employed to generate a program that solves the governing heat transfer equation where development of thermo-physical concrete properties was defined as a function of degree of hydration. The rate of heat generation was obtained experimentally via adiabatic calorimetry and the activation energy was determined following the ASTM C 1074 procedure to implement equivalent age concept. 2D finite volume analysis results were presented in comparison with the recorded concrete temperatures from the field. Atsiz is a prominent figure of Turkish literature. In the first part of our study, the life of Huseyin Nihal Atsiz was mentioned. In the second chapter, the author's story of "Bozkurtların Ölümü, Bozkurtlar Diriliyor, Deli Kurt, Ruh Adam, Dalkavuklar Gecesi and Z Vitamini" novels was given. No full textBu araştırmanın amacı İstanbul ilindeki MEB bağımsız anaokulu, ilkokul ve ortaokul ana sınıflarındaki öğretmen ve yöneticilerin iletişim becerilerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ilindeki bağımsız anaokulu, ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapmakta olan 237’si kadın, 73’ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 310 öğretmen ve yönetici oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Doç. Dr. İsmail Aydoğan ve Arş. Gör. Alper Kaşkaya tarafından geliştirilip hazırlanan ve 34 maddeden oluşan “Okul Öncesi Eğitim Kurumu Yöneticilerinin İletişim Becerileri” ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Kişisel Bilgi ve İletişim Becerileri Ölçeğinden alınan bilgilerle MEB okul öncesi öğretmenlerin yöneticilerini algılamaları ve yöneticilerin de iletişim becerisi konusunda kendilerine bakış açıları, “cinsiyet”, “öğrenim durumu” ve “mesleki kıdem” değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir. Öğretmen ve yöneticilerin ölçekteki ifadelere ilişkin cevaplarının ortalamaları arasındaki fark hesaplanmıştır. Buna göre her iki grubun verdikleri cevapların ortalamaları arasındaki farkın en fazla olduğu ifadelerin “işbirliği içinde çalışma ortamı yaratmaktadır”, “çalışanların okulla ilgili şikâyetlerine gereken önemi verir” ve “personelle ilişkilerinde içten davranmaktadır” değişkenleri olduğu görülmüştür. Yöneticilerin iletişim becerilerine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla hazırlanmış olan anketin güvenirliği, Cronbach’s alfa katsayısı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, okul öncesi yöneticilerinin kişiler arası iletişim becerileri öğretmenler tarafından yeterli bulunmuştur. Buna karşın yöneticilerin kendilerini kişiler arası iletişim becerilerini sergileme konusunda öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre daha yeterli buldukları belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin yönetici iletişimine ilişkin algılamalarının en düşük olduğu becerilerin “çalışanlarıyla ilişkilerinde yargılayıcı tavır takınmaz”, “jest ve mimiklerini amacına uygun kullanır” ve “yönetici sempatiktir” olduğu görülmüştür.In this study, communication skills of pre-schools teachers and administrators of preschools programs in nursery schools, primary schools and secondary schools in Education Board of Istanbul were investigated. The population of the research is consisted of 310 teachers and administrators of whom 237 are female and 73 are male working in independent pre-schools, primary schools and secondary schools in Istanbul city in 2014-2015 academic year. The 34- itemed scale Communication Skills of Pre- School Teachers that wan developed by İsmail Aydoğan and Alper Kaşkaya was used to collect data. Data obtained from the Scale of Personal Information and Communication Skills Scale, perception of pre-school teachers in state schools for their administrators and selfevaluation of administrators have been analyzed in respect to the variables of “gender”, “education level”, “professional experience”. The differences in the mean scores for the answers of the teachers and the administrators to the statements in the scale were considered. Accordingly, most differences emerge in statements such as “creates cooperative working environment”, “pays due attention to the complaints of the employees regarding the school”. Internal consistency of variable set prepared to determine averages of the opinions of the administrators on their communication skills has been analyzed with Cronbach alfa coefficient. According to the result of the research, inter-personnel communication skills of preschool administrators is considered to be sufficient by the teachers; however, in comparison to the teachers, administrators found themselves more efficient. The perceptions with the lowest rating of teachers regarding their administrators are “managers do not insert judgmental attitude”, “manager uses gestures and facial expressions according to the purpose”, and “managers are sympathetic”
