No full textEste livro resultou de uma entrevista idealizada pelo jornalista Jorge Duarte, em que o entrevistado é um dos mais renomados e reconhecidos presidentes da Embrapa: Eliseu Alves. Escrita em linguagem coloquial, muitas vezes com notas de afetividade, a entrevista teve duas motivações. A primeira foi conhecer a história particular de Eliseu Roberto de Andrade Alves: a família, a região onde cresceu, os aprendizados com a formação acadêmica, os desafios profissionais e as inovações teóricas e práticas que resultaram em grandes contribuições à atividade agropecuária brasileira, prioritariamente quando ele esteve à frente de empresas públicas que ajudou a fundar e administrar. A segunda foi conhecer a visão referencial do pesquisador Eliseu Alves sobre os fundamentos, a direção, a trajetória da pesquisa agropecuária e os desafios da extensão rural e da pobreza rural no Brasil. Assim, podemos dizer que é um relato histórico sobre a composição vital do percurso tecnológico da atividade rural no Brasil

Gerhard’s electronic music is one of the richest repositories for understanding the development of the composer’s late compositional technique. Apart from the Symphony no.3, ‘Collages’, none of Gerhard’s electronic music is published. This paper will discuss aspects of Gerhard’s electronic music, focusing on Audiomobiles (1958-59) and Sculptures (1963)

No full textTese (doutorado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia, Florianópolis, 20013Recentemente foi incorporado na literatura esportiva o conceito eficácia de treinamento, o qual foi baseado na abordagem social cognitiva de Bandura e, mais especificamente, na teoria da autoeficácia. Feltz, Chase, Moritz e Sullivan (1999) propõem um modelo de eficácia de treinamento como sendo o desenvolvimento da confiança dos treinadores em sua capacidade de influenciar o aprendizado e o desempenho de seus atletas. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo principal adaptar e validar a Escala de Eficácia de Treinamento Coaching Efficacy Scale para o contexto brasileiro. Esta pesquisa é de natureza exploratória, descritiva e correlacional. A amostra definida neste estudo foi de caráter não probabilístico, ou seja, não se constitui ao acaso, mas depende das características específicas que o investigador tem interesse de pesquisar. Esta pesquisa foi realizada com 207 treinadores de 5 modalidades esportivas: futebol, basquete, vôlei, handebol e tênis de campo e dividida entre treinadores de categorias de base e da categoria profissional. Os resultados indicam que a EET (Escala de Eficácia de Treinamento) apresenta evidências de validade de construto adequados ao modelo teórico e aos propósitos deste estudo. A correlação entre as dimensões da Escala de Eficácia de Treinamento e as variáveis do perfil do treinador permite identificar a força da relação da escala, o que pode favorecer estudos comparativos interculturais e a busca por evidências de relações preditivas entre eficácia de treinamento e o desempenho dos atletas e treinadores. Os resultados deste estudo também podem fornecer informações importantes para a formação de treinadores brasileiros Abstract: The concept of coaching efficacy, which was based in the Bandura's cognitive social approach, and more specifically on the theory of selfefficacy, was recently incorporated in the sports literature. Feltz, Chase, Moritz and Sullivan (1999) suggest a model of coaching efficacy as being the development of the coaches confidence in its own abilities to influence the learning and performance of the athletes. This research has as main objective to adapt and validate the Coaching Efficacy Scale to the brazilian context. This research is in nature exploratory, descriptive and correlational. The sample defined in this study was of non probabilistic feature, that is, it is not constituted by chance, but depends of the specific characteristics that the researcher has interest in study. This research was done with 207 coaches of 5 different sports: football (field and indoor), basketball, volleyball, handball, and tennis. Divided between professionals and starters. The results indicate that the EET (Brazilian version of the scale) shows evidences of appropriate construct to the theoretical model and to the purposes of this study. The correlation the dimensions of Coaching Efficacy Scale and the variables of the coaches profile allows to identify the strength of the scale relation, what can support intercultural comparative studies and the search for evidences of predictive relations between coaching efficacy and the performance of athletes and coaches. The results of this study can also provide important information to the formation of Brazilian coaches
Roberto Gerhard’s Sound Compositions: A Historical-Philological Perspective. Archive, Process, Intent and reenactment
No full textThis research advances the current state of knowledge in the field of early tape music both empirically and methodologically. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact that the electronic medium exerted in the musical thinking of Roberto Gerhard, one of the most outspoken, prolific and influential composers in the Spanish diaspora whose musical legacy, for the most part unknown, is a major landmark in the early history of electroacoustic music. Gerhard’s personal tape collection, one of the largest historical archives of its kind reported in the literature, is exceptional for both its antiquity (50+-year-old tapes) and its abundance of production materials. Through the digitisation and analysis of the composer’s tape collection this research argues that the empirical study of audio documents sets out a basis for a broader understanding of textual processes. More specifically, the research demonstrates that the reconstruction of works based on magnetic tape sketches is a powerful method to advance the understanding of early tape music. This research also examines Gerhard’s sound compositions in relation to the post-war context in which they were composed. Finally, this research presents performance documentation that proposes an approach to the electroacoustic music repertoire in which creativity is not at odds with rigor and critical discernment demonstrating that archival study can be closely aligned to the concept of re-enactment

No full textTese (doutorado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e Expressão, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura, Florianópolis, 2013.Esta Tese de Doutorado versa sobre os contatos intelectuais estabelecidos por Paulo Duarte durante o período de seus dois exílios, que lhe foram impostos por Getúlio Vargas em 1934 e, depois de um período de retorno ao Brasil, entre 1938 e 1945, durante a vigência do Estado Novo. O texto se serve da imagem do rio, fundamental que foi ao longo dos escritos de Duarte, para realizar um movimento a contrapelo, ou seja, na contramão da correnteza, no sentido de encontrar as relações e contatos que não foram explorados na criação da imagem ?institucional? do escritor. Após um excurso em que se apresenta a imagem do rio e questões relativas à redação da autobiografia e às teorias da memória e da história que guiam as reflexões da Tese, debatem-se três problemas-chave em que a posição de Duarte permite ler diferentes teorias da modernidade na América Latina. Primeiramente, a ideia de patrimônio e o debate travado na passagem pela Argentina, em sua proximidade com as reflexões contemporâneas de Benjamin e com o pensamento dos Annales a respeito da História. Em seguida, a procura pelo fundamento da História e da cultura leva, pois, a pensar o problema da origem do humano, radicada em sua reflexão, na linguagem. Por fim, chega-se à emergência da problemática da imagem, a qual, em convergência com a origem e a linguagem, leva, na leitura e no contato de Duarte com Luis Buñuel, Anton Giulio Bragaglia e Samuel Beckett, ao torvelinho de radicar a origem no vazio. Abstract : This dissertation is about the intellectual contacts made by Paulo Duarte during his two exiles. The Brazilian president, Getúlio Vargas, exhiled Duarte for two times: in 1934 and, after a period back in Brazil, again, between 1938 and 1945, during the dictatorial government called Estado Novo. The text uses the image of the river, essential in Duarte's writings, to make a movement brushing the history against the grain, that is, against the stream, searching for the relations and contacts which have not been explored in the creation of the writer's "institutional" image. After an excursus in which the river's image is presented, as well as questions about autobiography and the theories about memory and history that guides the doctoral dissertation, we discuss three problems in which Duarte's position allows reading different modernity theories in Latin America. First come the idea of heritage and the debate in which he takes part during his passage through Argentina, in its proximity with Walter Benjamin and the Annales' reflections about History. Second, the search for History and culture's foundings takes Duarte's reflections to the problem of the mankind's origin, that is rooted in the language, according to Duarte. At last, the dissertation approaches the emergency of the problem of image, which, converging with the discussion about origin and language, takes, in the reading of and the contact between Duarte and Luis Buñuel, Anton Giulio Bragaglia and Samuel Beckett, to the swirl of rooting the origin in the void

No full textEste estudo documenta a vida e a obra de Roberto José Goulart Tibau (1924-2003), arquiteto brasileiro. O objetivo fundamental - e mais importante - é reunir informações sobre os projetos e obras mais significativos desenvolvidos durante sua atividade profissional, tornando-os acessíveis através dessa pesquisa. O trabalho baseou-se em pesquisa bibliográfica, levantamento e registro das obras e projetos realizados, currículo profissional, e depoimento de Tibau, concedido ao autor, em 1998. Em Roberto Tibau e o fazer arquitetura são descritos os caminhos percorridos pelo arquiteto; o contexto histórico de sua formação e atuação profissional; a relação de sua produção arquitetônica com outras obras da época; e eventuais referências projetuais utilizadas na criação dos seus projetos. Este trabalho vem preencher uma lacuna bibliográfica considerável, trazendo à luz, a obra deste significativo arquiteto, que dedicou sua vida ao trabalho na prancheta, na qual deixou sua marca de humanista.This study documents the life and work of Roberto José Goulart Tibau (1924-2003), a Brazilian architect. It aims to collect information about the most significant projects developed during the years of his professional career, which will become available through this research. The present study based on bibliographical research, examination and registration of the projects executed by the architect, his resumé, and his testimonial to the author of this research, in 1998. In Roberto Tibau and the process of making architecture there is a description of the ways in which his projects were conceived; the historical context through his professional activity since graduation, the relation between his own production and the production of other architects of the same period, and the projecting references used for his creations. This research is also an attempt to fill a signicant bibliographical gap of architecture history in Brazil by bringing to light the work of this relevant architect, who dedicated his life to working on his drawing table, leaving to us his humanistic style
Memórias em disputa e jogos de genêro: o Movimento Feminino pela Anistia no Ceará (1976-1979)

Programa de Pós-Graduação em História.Estudo das memórias do Movimento Feminino pela Anistia (MFPA), no Ceará, com ênfase em narrativas de ex-integrantes, entre os anos de 1976 e 1979. O trabalho procura compreender as questões de gênero na forma como as mulheres recuperam suas ações políticas e trajetórias de vida, com foco na elaboração de subjetividades a partir de experiência coletiva. O Movimento Feminino pela Anistia foi criado em 1975, em âmbito nacional, com o objetivo de lutar pela anistia dos perseguidos pela ditadura militar em 1964. Seus quadros reuniam, de acordo com as normas estatutárias, somente mulheres, com núcleos pelo País e milhares de participantes. Apesar de formado, em grande parte, por familiares de presos e exilados políticos, o MFPA agrega mulheres ansiosas por retomarem militâncias políticas interrompidas ou realizadas somente de forma clandestina, além de ter reunido pessoas movidas pela solidariedade. A convivência entre militantes com diferentes motivações gera uma ação política sui generis, em constante instrumentalização do gênero, com disputa entre as memórias reconstruídas no presente e tornando mais complexa a atividade do Movimento que, apesar de fundado sobre valores tradicionais ligados à figura da mulher como defensora da família e pacificadora da sociedade, extrapola tais vivências. Há polarização, especialmente concentrada, entre as que se identificam como familiares de presos políticos e as que se reivindicam como #mais politizadas#. As razões da disputa são analisadas ao longo do trabalho. Tampouco as memórias do MFPA são produzidas somente pelo grupo de mulheres formado para esta pesquisa. Está presente em discursos nas solenidades e manifestações do movimento de anistiados no Estado, na mídia e na documentação dos órgãos de segurança do regime ditatorial. Os discursos são permanentemente comparados e confrontados com documentos de história oral desta pesquisa, em análise que amplia as formas de compreender a luta pela anistia no Brasil, recuperando a ação das mulheres como personagens fundamentais. Study of Women's memories of the Movement for Amnesty (MFPA) in Ceará, with emphasis on narratives of ex-members, between the years 1976 and 1979. The work seeks to understand the issues of gender in how women recover their political actions and paths of life, focusing on development of subjectivity from collective experience. The Women's Movement was established by Amnesty in 1975, at the national level, with the objective of fighting for amnesty for persecuted by the military dictatorship in 1964. Its board meeting, according to the statutory rules, only women with nuclei the country and thousands of participants. Though formed in large part by relatives of political prisoners and exiles, the MFPA adds women eager to resume political militancy discontinued or performed only in a clandestine, in addition to meeting people moved by the solidarity. The coexistence between different motivations militants with political action generates a sui generis, in constant exploitation of the genre, with the dispute between reconstructed memories of this and making more complex the activity of the Movement that, although based on traditional values linked to the figure of the woman as defender of family and peaceful society, beyond such experiences. There polarization, especially concentrated among those who identify themselves as relatives of political prisoners and those that are claimed as "more politicized." The reasons for the dispute are analyzed over the work. Neither the memories of MFPA are produced only by women's group formed for this research. Is present in speeches in ceremonies and events of the movement of pardon in the state, the media and the documentation of the safety of the dictatorial regime. The speeches are constantly compared and confronted with documents of this oral history research in analysis that expands the ways to understand the fight for amnesty in Brazil, recovering the action of women as key characters
