Value of customer loyalty programs for consumers
Nowadays, we are coming aware of the fact that we cannot imagine our modern world without a car. Fuel is a product that most of the car drivers need. In the competitive market, gas stations try to attract as many customers as possible. One of these attractions is a customer’s loyalty program. The goal of the thesis is to study the Russian gas station market to understand what customers value in customers loyalty programs of gas stations.
In the theoretical part of the research, the author examines and discusses the customers’ loyalty programs, types of loyalty programs, analyses the key factors what influence customer loyalty, reasons why companies need loyalty programs, how should the effective loyalty program look like and how to create them.
The author proceeds inductively and uses a qualitative research approach. Sеcondary dаta is collected from vаrious reliable sourcеs of literature, including books, artiсles, and Internet sоurces. The secondary data is supрorted with primаry data, which is collected by interviewing fifty persons who are customers of gas stations.
The research findings indicate that customers value mostly points and discounts in the loyalty programs and the quality of products that could be purchased for these points. However, to become a loyal customer, the customer should be attracted by the quality of goods and services of the company. Otherwise, he/she will not come back again

State management approaches in Flutter
Flutter has tens of different ways to solve the issue of state management, which creates an
ambiguity in the selection of the approach. Flutter is a promising technology which can
possibly reduce the costs of cross-platform application development. The main objective of
the thesis was to categorize the state management approaches and find a way to select
the most suitable one for the most common use case scenarios. Instead of focusing on the
particular use cases, a set of decision-making criteria was determined, and the approaches
were analyzed and compared based on these criteria.
Quantitative research methods were used in the theoretical part in order to introduce the
mobile development market, compare Flutter to the competing technologies, prove that the
problem of state management approach selection ambiguity indeed exists, and determine
which approaches would be worth studying by measuring their popularity among Flutter
developers. These methods included, for instance, analyzing and comparing the statistical
data concerning the mobile development market, number of GitHub stars, various pub.dev
scoring metrics and so on. Qualitative methods (e.g. critical analysis of existing literature)
were used to categorize the approaches, determine the comparison criteria, analyze and
compare the selected approaches and make a conclusion.
The study resulted in several new contributions to the existing literature. First, all of the at
least a little bit popular state management approaches were collected in one place.
Second, these approaches were categorized by the common attributes defined in the
thesis. Third, the most popular and widely used representative of each group was studied
in detail by implementing a real application with shared preferences, local persistence and
remote API requests. These included setState, InheritedWidget, Provider, GetX, BLoC,
MobX, Redux. Finally, the approaches were analyzed based on the criteria defined in the
thesis, and the comparison table was created. This table allowed finding the most suitable
approach for the needs of each particular project or developer.
The resulting comparison table and the implementation part explaining how to use each
state management approach give an answer to the question: how to select the most
suitable state management approach? It also gives the starting point beginning to use the
selected approach. The goals that were set for this thesis were fully achieved; in several
places the thesis provides even more detailed answers than was initially expected

Regulation of Telecommunications: The Choice Between Market and Regulatory Failures
Purpose – The paper examines the main regulatory frameworks of the telecommunications industry through the concept of market failure and analyses how and why the policy often leads to undesirable outcomes that might be considered as regulatory failure.
Methodology/approach/design – The research uses the EU regulatory framework for electronic communications as a base for the analysis of the main policy objectives through the prism of the market failure theory with an eye to the interests of the main market players in the telecommunications markets.
Findings – About any aspect of regulation allows to find ways to create opportunities for some groups of the industry and stifle activity of others. Despite the theory of market failure provides reasonable justifications for regulation of telecommunications markets, it is possible to argue that many of these problems are mainly the consequence of the policy and could be better solved by market mechanisms.
Originality/value – The results of the research allow to look at the problems of telecommunications development and issues of the high level of concentration of the telecommunications markets as regulatory formed problems rather than consequences of the inherited industry’s characteristics
Stably semiorthogonally indecomposable varieties
A triangulated category is said to be indecomposable if it admits no
nontrivial semiorthogonal decompositions. We introduce a definition of a
noncommutatively stably semiorthogonally indecomposable (NSSI) variety. This
propery implies, among other things, that each smooth proper subvariety has
indecomposable derived category of coherent sheaves, and that if is NSSI,
then for any variety all semiorthogonal decompositions of are
induced from decompositions of . We prove that any variety whose Albanese
morphism is finite is NSSI, and that the total space of a fibration over NSSI
base with NSSI fibers is also NSSI. We apply this indecomposability to deduce
that there are no phantom subcategories in some varieties, including surfaces
, where is any smooth proper curve of positive
genus.Comment: 15 pages; published versio
