Studi Literatur Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menengah pertama
This article is structured to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving learning models on students' critical thinking skills. Data collection is done by collecting books and journals and then reading and reviewing them. After all the data was collected, testing and comparison of the effectiveness of the two learning models were carried out. The data analysis technique was carried out qualitatively by quoting the appropriate opinion. The results showed that the problem-based learning model is a very good model used in physics learning to improve students' critical thinking skills. This can be seen from the many learning theories that support the Problem Based Learning model and have succeeded in increasing critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, the Problem Solving learning model has not been fully implemented optimally, because learning activities are still teacher centered. The successful application of the social system that has been implemented has not accommodated the improvement of critical thinking skills.

Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan buku-buku serta jurnal-jurnal kemudian dibaca dan dikaji. Setelah semua data terkumpul, dilakukan pengujian dan perbandian efektifitas kedua model pembelajaran yang ditemukan. Tenik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan pengutipan pendapat yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian didapatkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning merupakan model yang sangat baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya teori belajar yang mendukung model Problem Based Learning dan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Sedangkan untuk model pembelajaran Problem Solving belum sepenuhnya terlaksana secara optimal, dikarenakan kegiatan pembelajaran masih bersifat teacher centered. Keberhasilan penerapan sistem sosial yang diterapkan belum mengakomodasi perbaikan kemampuan berpikir kritis
Profile of Critical Thinking Ability of Class VIII Junior High School Students in Science Learning on Simple Aircraft Materials
In this 21st-century educational paradigm, the ability to think critically is one of the life skills that must be possessed to adapt to an increasingly developing life. This study aims to describe the profile of the critical thinking ability of junior high school students in science subjects on Simple Aircraft material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative descriptive research is research that is used to investigate the actual data and is described in the form of words - words or verbally. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII-BIL SMP N 1 Sine with a total of 30 children. The research instrument used in the form of 10 reasoned multiple choice questions (two-tier multiple choice) based on indicators of critical thinking ability according to Facione which is divided into 4 namely (1) interpretation (2) analysis (3) inference (4) evaluation. The results of the study show that students have moderate critical thinking skills, with a percentage of 40%. Meanwhile, based on indicators showing aspects (1) Interpretation has a percentage of 72.3% with a high category (2) analysis has a percentage of 56.7% with a medium category (3) inference has a percentage of 47.8% with a low category (4) evaluation has a percentage 40% with low category. This research is expected to be used as a benchmark for teachers to provide a learning system that encourages students to improve their critical thinking skills by involving students in taking an active role in learning. In addition, this research is expected to provide a reference for similar research or further research

Analysis of Additional Teaching Materials for 8th Grade Junior High School
This study aims to examine the need for additional teaching materials for science learning among students at MTs Negeri 2 Ngawi. This study uses a research and development method known as Research and Development (RnD). This research development model was adapted from the development of 4D-Models (define, design, development, and dissemination). The subjects in this study were class VIII students of MTs Negeri 2 Ngawi. Observations on science learning, interviews with teachers and students, and the distribution of questionnaires on the need for additional teaching materials indicate that in addition to the textbooks already owned by students, additional teaching materials are also needed according to the characteristics of students. The textbooks owned by students also have several shortcomings, ranging from the limited material presented and the lack of experimental exercises. This research was conducted to explore the analysis of student needs and classroom conditions to find solutions for the development of teaching materials to be used. The results of this study can be concluded that students need teaching materials that allow them to conduct direct experiments to receive the material effectively
The effect of assessment form to the ability of student to answer the problem correctly
Assessment is an important part of education. For educators, are collecting information about students learning and information about the learning process. For students, the assessment is the process of informing them about the progress of learning. Effective assessment process is responsive to the strengths, needs and clearly articulated student learning objectives. This research was aimed to know the effect of assessment form towards students ability in answering the problem correctly on kinematics and dynamics of motion. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collecting method are assessment test and interview. Assessment test instrument are written test and animation form test. The question we use was taken "Force Concept Inventory" on kinematics and dynamics concepts. The sample are 36 student of 6th terms student of Physics Undergraduate Departement in Sebelas Maret University. The result shows that for kinematics concept, more students answer correctly for test presented in animation form but for dynamics concept conventional test is better
PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL BERBASIS POE (PREDICT, OBSERVE, EXPLAIN) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATERI PESAWAT SEDERHANA
Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengembangkan e-modul IPA berbasis model pembelajaran POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis materi pesawat sederhana kelas VIII SMP. Jenis penelitian ini Research and Development (RND) yaitu penelitian yang digunakan membuat produk tertentu. Model pada penelitian ini ialah model pengembangan Thiagajaran, sering dikenal sebagai model 4-D yang memiliki 4 tahap, yaitu : mendefinisikan (define), mendesain (desain), mengembangkan (develop), serta penyebaran (disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 3 orang validator dengan rincian, ahli materi, ahli media, serta ahli bahasa. Uji coba terbatas yaitu memberikan penilaian terkait produk yang dikembangkan yaitu 2 guru IPA dan 15 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Jogorogo. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara, angket, instrument penelitian berupa lembar wawancara serta lembar angket atau kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menyatakan e-modul dinyatakan sangat layak dengan hasil validasi ahli materi (88,75%), ahli media (82%), serta ahli Bahasa (80%). E-modul juga dinyatakan sangat praktis digunakan dari hasil penilaian 2 guru IPA sebesar 93% dan 15 siswa sebesar 95,53%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan praktis digunakan pada proses kegiatan pembelajaran
The description of teacher's difficulties in implementing poe learning model
Kurikulum 2013 merupakan proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik (pendekatan ilmiah). Pendekatan saintifik bertujuan agar siswa mampu mengolah pemikiran mereka sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan guru dalam melaksanakan model pembelajaran POE. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel diambil dari 1 guru fisika dan 30 siswa kelas XI Sman 1 Sumberlawang Sragen, 1 guru fisika dan 30 siswa kelas XI Sman 1 Sambungmacan, serta 1 guru dan 30 siswa kelas XI Man 2 Kediri. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar pengamatan kepada guru, angket siswa, dan wawancara. Temuan dalam penelitian pendahuluan ini adalah guru sudah melaksanakan model pembelajaran POE namun masih mengalami beberapa kendala atau kelemahan diantaranya kurangnya apersepsi dari guru ke siswa tentang permasalahan yang akan dibahas, guru belum mengarahkan siswa untuk membuat hipostesis (dugaan awal) tentang permasalahan yang akan di analisis,persiapan guru dalam eksperimen masih kurang, guru masih belum mampu membimbing siswa untuk menemukan persamaan dari data hasil percobaan, guru belum mengarahkan siswa untuk membuat hasil kesimpulan dari percobaan
Analisis Konsepsi Mahasiswa Dalam Menyelesaikan Presentasi Soal Model Statis-Dinamis Pokok Bahasan Kinematika Dan Dinamika
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsepsi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan presentasi soal model statis-dinamis pada pokok bahasan kinematika dan dinamika. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel diambil terdiri dari semester VI (13 mahasiswa) dan semester VIII (2 mahasiswa) IKIP PGRI MADIUN, yang mana telah diberi mata kuliah fisika dasar. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil tes soal Force Concept Inventory (FCI) pilihan ganda dalam bentuk statis-dinamis dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, konsepsi mahasiswa pada pokok bahasan kinematika dan dinamika menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sebagian besar memahami sebagian konsep. Sehingga terjadi perubahan konsistensi jawaban siswa terhadap soal model statis-dinamis.

Electricity is one of human needs in everyday life. Based on these problems, this research was carried out, with the aim of creating a prototype to record electrical power loads and display the amount of electricity consumption in rupiah levels to monitor electrical energy consumption and convert it into rupiah. To conduct this research, the author used observational research methodology or field study and literature study. In this research, it is necessary to pay attention to understanding how to think and how to carry out the results of thinking according to scientific steps. By conducting this research, researchers hope to be able to find out data on daily electrical energy consumption and prevent electricity waste
