The Empowerment of The Cyber Communities By The Indonesian Goverment From The Perspective of Total War Strategy
The development of Information Technology and Computers (ICT) has made changes that affect the concept of security. The impact of these ICT developments poses a cyber threat to the National Critical Information Infrastructure (IIKN). The cyber community empowerment effort aims to help the government, institutions and private parties related to the ICT sector in safeguarding and securing IIKN from cyber attacks whose impact can collapse a country if it is not anticipated earlier. For that we need a strategy that is able to support the empowerment of the cyber community by the government in the perspective of universal war. In writing this article, the author uses a method by collecting data and information through the help of various materials contained in the literature (books) or also known as the type of phenomological research associated with qualitative descriptive. From the results of the literature research that the authors get, it is known that the cyber community has not fully helped the government in national defense, there are some cyber communities that have not been involved, it takes the role of government, institutions and private parties related to ICT to be able to realize cyber community empowerment by the Government in the perspective of Total war.

The Total War Strategy through Optimizing the Understanding of Pancasila Values in the Millenial Era
The Indonesian nation is a large nation, has a very dense population. Inside there is the millennial generation who will play an important role in the continuation of the life of the nation and state. However, with the development of technology, the millennial generation has begun to be influenced and the understanding of the values of Pancasila has begun to fade. In writing this article, the author uses several defense theories to strengthen the results of research and methods by collecting data and information through the help of various materials contained in literature (books) or also known as types of phenomological research associated with qualitative descriptive. From the results of the literature research, the writer finds that the understanding of the values of Pancasila from the millennial generation is mostly starting to fade due to the influence of foreign technology and culture, so that intolerance, radicalism and speech of hatred appear between fellow children of the nation. Therefore, the role of the government, institutions and society is needed in optimizing the understanding of the values of Pancasila for the millennial generation so that they are ready to be involved in Total war
Comparison of The China-Vietnam-Indonesia Guerrilla War In The Perspective of The Universal War
The history of war in several countries proves that universal war is a reliable strategy to win a battle. This universal war is used by weak military forces by utilizing national resources to fight against stronger and more modern forces in weaponry, as was done by China, Vietnam and Indonesia. War is caused by several factors, among others, psychological, cultural, ideological, economic and political. In writing this literature review, the author uses methods and theories by collecting data and information through the help of various materials contained in literature (books) or also known as phenomological research types associated with qualitative descriptive and defense philosophy. From the results of literature research, the writer finds that the universal war waged by each country that has adopted this strategy is different in its implementation and the objectives to be achieved. However, the universal war that has been carried out has brought very good results in accordance with the objectives of the struggle of each country that has used it

For Cheryl: The Long And The Short Of It
Short stories are an indirect way of creating a truth by showing instead of telling. They are a way to observe and communicate a single idea. A short story for me is a vehicle for hiding my truth behind a character, exploring myself in the safety of an identity that is not my own. When I read Chunky in Heat, author A.M. Homes and I hide together behind her character, Cheryl, and find solidarity.
The following writings, paintings, and sculptures are collaborations between myself and the women of short story fiction. Those women being the authors, the subjects, and the readers. Each character provides a different understanding of myself and my work. These characters are helping me to collaborate alongside the many real women with whom I can identify in an effort to put a name to an idea that remains heavily undefined.
I cannot tell you what this undefined Thing is. I can only show you using short stories as way to indirectly tell the truth
Children´s Health Book: Narrative and Cultural Aspects
The Children's Health Book is considered to be the first Croatian picture book, where both the author of the text and illustrator are Croats. In this paper the Children's Health Book will be interpreted from the aspect of the relationship between illustration and text, their mutual communication and compliance and from a thematic and cultural aspect. The basic purpose of the picture booklet is to educate children, care for their health and care for better living conditions. Despite the unusual order in making a picture book, the picture book mediates the message by communicating the illustration and the text, where both components are necessary in order to convey the full meaning. As a starting point for cultural analysis of the Children's Health Book, we compared it with the US picture book First Health Reader for which we are sure that Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić received as an exemplary copy and a model for creating a Croatian health picture book. Based on this comparison, it was concluded that the Croatian picture book, in spite of the American stimulus and pattern in the theme and the common motives, completely adapted to the Croatian context and the Croatian rural children's audience. The third analysed picture book, ABC Čika Mate, will have a complete different look, which will, despite repetition of similar messages, portray Josephine Harnoncourt's foreign illustrations by a different, urban ambience, and will therefore be intended for the Croatian civic children's audience
Toward ecological literacy: A permaculture approach to junior secondary science
Environmental, economic, and social trends suggest the need for more sustainable ways of thinking and patterns of behavior. Such a shift would require humanity to function at high levels of ecological literacy, which relies on a certain amount of scientific literacy. However, troubling evidence indicates an international pattern of student disengagement with science at the secondary level. Evidence also suggests that it is difficult to integrate environmental or sustainability education at this level, both within New Zealand and elsewhere. This research was aimed at examining the use of a novel approach, using permaculture, in junior secondary science (years 9 and 10) to enhance students‘ ecological and scientific literacy, as well as their attitudes toward studying science in school.
Permaculture is an ecological design system based on science and ethics. A permaculture approach to science education involves eco-design thinking as well as the use of local permaculture properties and practitioners, and the science behind common permaculture practices. The approach is also meant to be relevant and engaging, and to promote systems thinking. This study involved the design and delivery of an intervention based on permaculture principles to one year 10 science class in New Zealand.
Research took the form of a naturalistic, interpretive, mixed methods case study, which included the use of questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data collection focused on the impacts of a permaculture approach on the teaching and learning of science, on students‘ ecological literacy, and on students‘ attitudes toward learning science in school. Pre- and post-intervention questionnaires probed students‘ opinions on the environment, science, and learning science in school, and tested their sustainable thinking and systems thinking with concept mapping and SOLO Taxonomy exercises. Classroom observations took place over the course of 12 weeks, on average 3 days per week, totaling 31 days. Before and after some classroom visits I had informal conversations with the teacher, along with three formal interviews before, during and after the intervention. Three focus groups of students were interviewed immediately following the intervention.
Findings show that a permaculture approach to junior secondary science can impact positively on students‘ understanding of science and sustainability, and may impact on their attitudes toward studying science in school. It also appeared to impact positively on the science teacher‘s attitude toward including sustainability in his teaching practice, and on his own sustainability learning. Regarding both students and teachers, a permaculture approach appears to have been effective to cultivate attitudes and trellis learning.
The teacher and the students responded favorably to many aspects of the intervention, including the overall focus on the environment, the field trips, and some classroom learning activities. The teacher reported appreciating the way the intervention contextualized science with real world examples. Most students reported appreciating the experiential aspects of the intervention, as well as the relevance that a permaculture approach to science education provided. Findings indicate that advances in ecological and scientific literacy varied among students. Some students appeared: to improve their use of science and sustainability vocabulary; to become more aware of select socio-scientific issues; and, to better recognize scientific and ecological limits and possibilities. Some students also showed advances in sustainable thinking and systems thinking. Although many students expressed concern about issues such as pollution, wildlife, and genetic engineering – and prioritized protecting the environment over making money – there appeared to be a disconnect between these feelings and a sense of personal responsibility to act. Most students reported enjoying learning science with a focus on the environment, with one cohort indicating much greater enjoyment of the permaculture approach than their usual level of enjoyment of learning science in school.
Trends in environmental degradation, population growth, energy inflation, and economic stagnation – especially pronounced since the beginning of this inquiry in 2008 – indicate that the world of the future will require ecologically literate citizens who can design and create truly sustainable systems for all human endeavors. Cultivating such citizens, and trellising their science and sustainability learning has implications for science education. This thesis identifies an innovative approach for junior secondary science in New Zealand that provides a way towards a more sustainable future
Cross-Linking DOI Author URIs Using Research Networking Systems
A proof-of-concept application was created to automatically cross-link publications that were written by the same person through harvesting linked open data from institution-based research networking systems. This is important because it (1) helps people identify related articles when exploring the biomedical literature, (2) gives scientists appropriate credit for the work they have done, and (3) makes it easier to find experts in a subject area
