Pembimbing Otaviana Nirmala Purba, M.PdTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Realistic Mathemates Education (RME) Berbantuan Media Berbasis Canva Terhadap kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Peserta Didik SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group prettest – posstest design. Populsi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas XI-2 dan XI-4) yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Pada kelas XI-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode Realistic Mathemates Education (RME) dengan berbantuan media Canva dan kelas XI-4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran langsung. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh posttest dengan hasil rata – rata kelas eksperimen 81,1 dan kelas kontrol 71,63.     This research examines the grammatical and semantic aspects of particles in the novel of Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi. The purpose of this research is to describe the grammatical and semantic aspects of the particles pun in the novel Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach.&nbsp; &nbsp;The researchers obtained 30 sentences that contain particles pun in the novel Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi. The research result, namely: grammatical aspects of 19 findings include, (1) conjunction 15 data (50%), and (2) parallelism 4 data (13.33%). Semantic aspects as many as 11&nbsp; findings include, (1) the relationship between the additive in terms of time 4 data (13.33%), (2) the additive relationship that is not related to time 2 data (6.67%), and (3) the contention relationship 5 data (16.67%)

    Cosmic ray exposure ages of iron meteorites using ³⁹K-⁴⁰K-⁴¹K dating

    This research involves the determination of the cosmic ray exposure ages of iron meteorites using ³⁹K-⁴⁰K-⁴¹K dating. Potassium was separated from nickel using ~ 4 mL of Chelex-100 resin and 15 mL of ammonium acetate (a mixture of equal volumes of 2 M acetic acid and 3 M aqueous ammonia) as eluent. Nickel was retained as a complex and potassium elutes out. The method is effective because of a low value for the blanks (~ 50 ng of potassium) that could be achieved. The concentration of the separated K, measured using Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS), inductively coupled mass spectrometry (ICPMS) and isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS) and will be used for the calculation of ³⁹K-⁴⁰K-⁴¹K exposure ages of iron meteorites. Potassium was successfully separated from multiple samples of 8 iron meteorites. The calculated CRE age (378 Ma) agrees for the meteorite Brownfield (355 Ma, Voshage and Feldmann, 1979) with the literature value. The literature value (645 Ma, Voshage and Feldmann, 1979) is ~3 times the value calculated (190 Ma, this work) for Picacho. Further studies are suggested and may be the awaited results from Harvard for some 8 samples will give us more information. A portion of the research is also focused on the measurement of activities of the cosmogenic nuclides ²⁶Al, ¹⁰Be, ³⁶Cl and ⁶⁰Fe. The ¹⁰Be(dpm/kg) and ³⁶Cl(dpm/kg) activities obtained were combined with available data from literature (Ammon et al., 2009) and the ⁴⁰K(dpm/kg) activities were predicted. The predicted K[subscript cos] (Total) concentrations were ~40 % higher for Brownfield and ~100 % higher for Picacho as compared with the experimentally determined values. To validate these results further work is suggested for the separation of potassium isotopes from irons and measuring the cosmogenic content. Newly measured ⁶⁰Fe activities of the meteorites Brownfield, Charlotte, Grant, NWA468, Picacho, Signal Mountain and Tlacotepec were reported and the ⁶⁰Fe(dpm/[kgNi] activities are in the range 0.3 – 1.5(dpm/[kgNi]). The ⁴⁰Ar-³⁹Ar apparent age, isochron, and cosmic ray exposure ages of 3 martian meteorites (ALHA 77005, Shergotty, Y000749) and a eucrite (Pasamonte) were also reported.Ph. Kata kunci: Karakter tokoh utama, novel, implikasi pembelajaran Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis karakter tokoh utama pada novel Rentang Kisah karya Gita Savitri Devi dan implikasi terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah Novel Rentang Kisah karya Gita Savitri Devi dengan tebal halaman 208. Menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Wujud data berupa kalimat-kalimat atau kutipan yang menggambarkan karakter tokoh utama pada novel Rentang Kisah karya Gita Savitri Devi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi literatur. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Rentang Kisah karya Gita Savitri Devi peneliti menemukan 17 data jenis karakter dengan menggunakan teori karakter Santo Budiono dalam buku Karakter Menentukan Masa Depan Bangsa (2018:109-110). Dari data tabel dapat diketahui, bahwa setelah melihat data-data dari karakter tokoh utama novel Rentang Kisah yaitu memiliki karakter kejujuran, karakter keberanian, karakter tanggung jawab, karakter disiplin, dan karakter berbagi/sharing. Jika menggunakan angka dapat dipersentasekan karakter kejujuran 23%, karakter keberanian 30%, karakter tanggung jawab 18%, karakter disiplin 6%, dan karakter berbagi/sharing 23%. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa karakter yang paling menonjol dari tokoh utama adalah karakter keberanian. Hasil penelitian diimplikasikan ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas XII yang divariasi sebagai bahan ajar Kurikulum Merdeka yang sesuai dengan Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) pada KD 3.9 Menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel. The data source in this research is the novel Rentang Tales by Gita Savitri Devi with a thickness of 208 pages. Using a qualitative descriptive approach method. The data is in the form of sentences or quotes that describe the character of the main character in the novel Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi. The data collection technique uses literature study techniques. The data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques. The results of the research show that in the novel Rentang Tales by Gita Savitri Devi, researchers found 17 data on character types using Santo Budiono's character theory in the book Character Determines the Nation's Future (2018:109-110). From the table data, it can be seen that after looking at the data on the characters of the main character of the novel Rentang Story, they have the character of honesty, the character of courage, the character of responsibility, the character of discipline, and the character of sharing. If you use numbers, the percentage of honesty character can be 23%, courage character 30%, responsibility character 18%, discipline character 6%, and sharing character 23%. The results of this research prove that the most prominent character of the main character is the character of courage.     Exploring learner resilience to school violence in a township secondary school in Durban KwaZulu-Natal.

University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban.The purpose of this study was to explore learner resilience to school violence in a township secondary school in Chatsworth near Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Specifically, the study sought to describe the nature of school violence, identify and describe the internal characteristics of resilient school learners, determine the external factors that contribute to resilience of school learners, determine what skills resilient school learners in a township school use to cope with school violence, and develop a framework that fosters resilience among learners. A simultaneous mixed methods approach of both qualitative and quantitative study designs was adopted. The sample comprised of 52 Learners, 6 Educators, the principal, the Head of Department for Life Orientation (LOHOD) and 7 Learner Parents. The quantitative data collection component used the Resilience Scale for Middle-adolescents in a Township School (R-MATS) questionnaire, administered to the 52 learners, and the qualitative data collection component used face-to-face interviews and focus group discussions with 12 Learners, 6 Educators, the principal, the LOHOD and 7 Learner Parents. The main factors seen as constituting risk for township school learners were that a lot of violence was seen around the community, there were many stressors, and participants spoke of bad life experiences. Among external factors, school environment was found to be the most lacking for those learners who reported that they fought a lot at school. Results indicated a neglect of problem learners by teachers, or an inability to deal with their problems. Some of the coping skills mentioned were positive commitment towards learning, taking part in extramural activities such as sports and music, and having a positive attitude towards life. The study recommends a framework that combines both the invitational education framework and the resilience wheel framework into one framework named ‘Invitational Resiliency Framework’.Author submitted Masters dissertation at UKZN under the name : Bonita Adele Marimuthu
