Get PDFAnalisis Wacana Kritis Model Teun A.Van Dijk dalam wacana Merawat Kebhinekaan di Tahun Politik ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur teks, kognisi sosial dan konteks sosial dalam wacana Merawat Kebhinekaan di Tahun Politik koran Waspada yang terbit pada hari Kamis, 28 Februari 2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah pedoman dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah mencari dan mengumpulkan data, setelah data diperoleh, selanjutnya melakukan telaah dan analisis terhadap data, mendeskripsikan mengenai struktur teks, kognisi sosial dan konteks sosial kemudian menarik kesimpulan dari hasil analisis. Hasil penelitian meliputi analisis struktur teks, kognisi sosial dan konteks sosial. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan penelitian, dalam analisis terhadap struktur teks, terdapat gagasan umum atau tema yang berusaha dimunculkan dalam wacana tersebut. Wacana ini mengusung tema terkait merawat kebhinekaan di tahun politik. Berdasarkan kognisi sosial, penulis wacana mengemukakan pendapat berdasarkan yang ia lihat, dengar, dan rasakan yang dilatarbelakangi oleh pengetahuan dan penilaian terhadap suatu peristiwa tertentu. Dalam wacana tersebut, penulis wacana mengemukakan pendapat bahwa sebagai warga masyarakat kita menyatu kembali sebagai masyarakat yang menghargai pluralitas dan menunaikan hak-hak berdemokrasi berpendapat dan menentukan pilihan selalu ada nuansa kearifan yakni “berpisah bukan bercerai”. Maka tentu diperlukan solidaritas yang bertanggung jawab sebagai langkah strategis dan berkesinambungan melalui pendidikan multikultural yang diselenggarakan melalui seluruh lembaga pendidikan baik formal maupun nonformal, bahkan informal dalam masyarakat luas. Hal ini dapat dianggap sebagai meredakan ketegangan dan konflik yang tak berkesudahan dalam perjalanan Indonesia sebagai negara bangsa yang berdaulat dan bermartabat. Terakhir, konteks sosial, terciptanya wacana tersebut berkaitan erat dengan wacana yang berkembang di lingkungan masyarakat luas mengenai konflik politik dan kepentingan tertentu dalam berdemokrasi berpendapat dan menentukan pilihan

Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Swasta Al-Manar Tahun Pembelajaran 2017-2018.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Swasta Al-Manar. Jumlah populasi ini adalah
25 siswa yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 25 siswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan model eksperimen only one group pre-test post-test.
Kelas VIII terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas yang menerima pre-test
dan post-test atau sesudah dan sebelum menggunakan media pohon pintar.
Metode penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk
melihat apakah ada perbedaan hasil sebagai sebab adanya perlakuan yang
diberikan pada eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes esai
dengan only one group pre-test post-test . Berdasarkan teknik analisis data, dapat
diketahui bahwa kemampuan menulis teks prosedur sebelum menggunakan media
pohon pintar memperoleh nilai rata-rata 69,24 termasuk dalam kategori cukup.
Sedangkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur sesudah menggunakan media
pohon pintar memperoleh nilai rata-rata 82,68 termasuk dalam kategori baik.
Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh uji “t”, thitung diketahui = 8,4.
Selanjutnya dikonsultasikan dengan tabel t pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan df =
N-1= 24, maka diperoleh taraf signifikansi 5% = 2,00 dan 1% = 2,80 maka
hipotesis nihil (nol) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Hal ini
membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan atas penggunaaan media
pohon pintar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur oleh siswa
kelas VIII SMP Swasta Al-Manar Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
