MERACLE: Constructive Layer-Wise Conversion of a Tensor Train into a MERA
No full textIn this article, two new algorithms are presented that convert a given data tensor train into either a Tucker decomposition with orthogonal matrix factors or a multi-scale entanglement renormalization ansatz (MERA). The Tucker core tensor is never explicitly computed but stored as a tensor train instead, resulting in both computationally and storage efficient algorithms. Both the multilinear Tucker-ranks as well as the MERA-ranks are automatically determined by the algorithm for a given upper bound on the relative approximation error. In addition, an iterative algorithm with low computational complexity based on solving an orthogonal Procrustes problem is proposed for the first time to retrieve optimal rank-lowering disentangler tensors, which are a crucial component in the construction of a low-rank MERA. Numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms together with the potential storage benefit of a low-rank MERA over a tensor train.Team Kim Batselie

No full textDocumentation is an indicator ofnurse's performance, law evidence in case ofnegligence in nursing care, and as a tool to assess the quality ofnursing care, but only 44 % of nurses can implement the nursing documentation with good and suitable manner. Based on the nursing management residency result that has been done, the lack of nursing documentation was caused by less motivation which never been researched before. The purpose of this research was to search the correlation of nurse's internal and external motivation to nursing care documentation at Dr. Achmad Mochtar hospital Bukittinggi. Design of this research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach Nurse motivation's data was collected by using questionnaire. Nursing Care Plan documentation was collected by using documentation study. Amount of sample involved 150 nurses with total sampling technique. Data analysis used chi square test and logistic regression. Data analysis used chi square test is obtained that: there is correlation ofachievement, policy, and supervision to documentation with (p value < 0,05). The result of regression logistic test is acquired: achievement as a dominant variable to documentation with (OR: 2,74) after it's controlled by education and the length ofworking service. Based on the result of this research, it is recommended to the managers of hospitals in Bukittinggi to provide the reward to the staff nurses for their achievement in nursing documentation application. The hospital leader is also required to implement the policy consistently especially for the staff nurses in application of nursing

Salah satu perawatan bayi yaitu memandikan dan perawatan tali pusat, hal ini merupakan tindakan yang harus dilakukan dalam perawatan bayi baru lahir yang bertujuan untuk menjaga kebersihan bayi, memberikan kesegaran pada bayi dan mencegah terjadinya infeksi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan pada Ibu post partum terutama ibu primigravida di RSI Yarsi Bukittinggi didapatkan data bahwa pada umumnya Ibu dan suami tidak tahu cara memandikan bayi baru lahir serta perawatan tali pusat, sehingga jika pulang nanti keluarga yang lainlah yang diharapkan bisa membantu, padahal setiap Ibu post partum harus mampu melakukan perawatan bayi baru lahir jika mereka mendapatkan edukasi saat persiapan mendekati kelahiran bayi. Untuk itu tim Pengabdi melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan dan demonstrasi tentang cara memandikan bayi dan perawatan tali pusat pada Ibu post partum dan keluarga di RSI Yarsi Bukittinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada hari Jum’at, 28 Desember 2018, dengan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan ibu post partum dan keluarga tentang memandikan bayi baru lahir dan perawatan tali pusat

No full textEducation today has evolved and with it the use of new innovative digital resources, the current problem originated when teachers when sharing their knowledge in the classroom use basic software such as Power Point, Genially, Canva, etc. and do not seek alternatives to attract the student's attention. The objective of the research was to propose Kotobee author to improve the learning of invertebrate animals. The type of research was quantitative, the research design was non-experimental, descriptive and explanatory, bibliographic and field type. For data collection, the survey technique was used and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. The sample consisted of 28 students of the fourth semester of the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences, Chemistry and Biology of the National University of Chimborazo. A digital book was designed using Kotobee Author software, which addressed the topics and subtopics related to the syllabus of the Animal Biology course. Finally, it was concluded that the use of the digital book designed was innovative because it awakens curiosity in the students, helped them to learn about invertebrate animals and generated a greater interest in the subject of Animal Biology.La educación en la actualidad ha evolucionado y con ella la utilización de nuevos recursos digitales innovadores, la problemática actual tuvo origen cuando los docentes al momento de compartir su conocimiento en el aula de clase utilizan softwares básicos como Power Point, Genially, Canva, etc y no buscan alternativas para llamar la atención del alumno. La investigación tuvo como objetivo, proponer Kotobee author para mejorar el aprendizaje de los animales invertebrados. El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativa, el diseño de la investigación fue no experimental de nivel descriptivo y explicativo, tipo bibliográfica y de campo. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario, la muestra fue de 28 estudiantes de cuarto semestre de la carrera de Pedagogía de las Ciencias Experimentales Química y Biología de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo. Se diseñó un libro digital elaborado en el software Kotobee Author el cual abordo los temas y subtemas relacionados al sílabo de la asignatura de Biología Animal. Finalmente se concluyó que la utilización del libro digital diseñado fue innovadora porque despierta la curiosidad en los estudiantes, ayudó al aprendizaje de los animales invertebrados y les generó un mayor interés por la asignatura de Biología Animal.UNACH, Ecuador
