Data of cost-optimal solutions and retrofit design methods for school renovation in a warm climate
Abstract"Efficient Solutions and Cost-Optimal Analysis for Existing School Buildings" (Paolo Maria Congedo, Delia D’Agostino, Cristina Baglivo, Giuliano Tornese, Ilaria Zacà) [1] is the paper that refers to this article. It reports the data related to the establishment of several variants of energy efficient retrofit measures selected for two existing school buildings located in the Mediterranean area. In compliance with the cost-optimal analysis described in the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and its guidelines (EU, Directive, EU 244,) [2,3], these data are useful for the integration of renewable energy sources and high performance technical systems for school renovation. The data of cost-efficient high performance solutions are provided in tables that are explained within the following sections.The data focus on the describe school refurbishment sector to which European policies and investments are directed. A methodological approach already used in previous studies about new buildings is followed (Baglivo Cristina, Congedo Paolo Maria, D׳Agostino Delia, Zacà Ilaria, 2015; IlariaZacà, Delia D’Agostino, Paolo Maria Congedo, Cristina Baglivo; Baglivo Cristina, Congedo Paolo Maria, D’Agostino Delia, Zacà Ilaria, 2015; Ilaria Zacà, Delia D’Agostino, Paolo Maria Congedo, Cristina Baglivo, 2015; Paolo Maria Congedo, Cristina Baglivo, IlariaZacà, Delia D’Agostino,2015) [4–8]. The files give the cost-optimal solutions for a kindergarten (REF1) and a nursery (REF2) school located in Sanarica and Squinzano (province of Lecce Southern Italy). The two reference buildings differ for construction period, materials and systems.The eleven tables provided contain data about the localization of the buildings, geometrical features and thermal properties of the envelope, as well as the energy efficiency measures related to walls, windows, heating, cooling, dhw and renewables. Output values of energy consumption, gas emission and costs are given for a financial and a macro-economic analysis.This data article provides 288 and 96 combinations for REF1 and REF2, respectively. The output values are obtained using the software ProCasaClima 2015v.2.0

Delia Domínguez: palabras para la misa del universo
In this article key aspects on the poetic world of Chilean writer Delia Domínguez are discussed: transcended rurality, memoirs on German ancestors, natives and Spaniards, intercultural, feminist, peasant effects pertaining to Delia Domínguez´s poetry. Within this framework, historical and sociological references are analyzed. These references have to do with Chile´s southern farming setting where the poet was born, raised and lived up to her teenage years. All of this is crucial when analyzing Delia Domínguez´s poetics in accordance with the author of this article.
1- Evidenziazione di P. carinii in soggetti HIV positivi asintomatici ed HIV negativi esenti da infezioni respiratorie in atto (1). Sono in corso a tal proposito ricerche sistematiche volte a stabilire il significato del riscontro di P. carinii in secrezioni broncoalveolari di pazienti con o senza infezione da HIV, dell'eventuale presenza di stipiti differenti del microrganismo e del loro ruolo nella malattia;

Translation, Humour and the Media
Description
Translation studies and humour studies are disciplines that have been long established but have seldom been looked at in conjunction. This volume looks at the intersection of the two disciplines as found in the media -- on television, in film and in print. From American cable drama to Japanese television this collection shows the range and insight of contemporary cross-disciplinary approaches to humour and translation.
Featuring a diverse and global range of contributors, this is a unique addition to existing literature in translation studies and it will appeal to a wide cross-section of scholars and postgraduates.

Natural regulation of Delia radicum in organic cabbage production
In a field experiment, we evaluated effects of three different organic white cabbage-cropping systems (O1, O2, O3) on the cabbage root fly, Delia radicum, and its egg predators and pupal parasitoids over 3 years. The three systems all complied with regulations for organic production, but varied in external nutrient input and N-recycling, and were compared to a conventionally farmed control. One organic system (O3) included an intercropped strip of green manure between crop rows. Oviposition by D. radicum was generally not reduced in organic cropping systems. However, higher pupae/egg ratios were observed in the conventional compared to all organic systems, indicating that immature survival from oviposition to pupation was reduced under all the three organic farming practices. In organic system O2 most small coleopteran predators were recorded, but predation on fly eggs was not significantly higher in organic treatments. Pupal parasitization rates ranged from 26.5% to 59.5%, but no significant differences among farming systems were found. Although reduced D. radicum survival could not be attributed solely to natural enemies, the results indicated that organic farming practices in general contribute to the suppression of belowground pests in cabbage production
The white noise:an audio feature in stereophonic hell
The White Noise: An Audio Feature in Stereophonic Hell is a collage of audio arranged and edited by David Butler with video by Andrea Pazos produced for Delia Derbyshire Day 2019 which honoured the 50th anniversary of "An Electric Storm" by White Noise (Island Records, 1969). The feature premiered at Delia Derbyshire Day 2019's showcase events - at Spirit Studios, Manchester on 23 November followed by the British Library, London on 30 November - before being made available to the wider public through YouTube on 20 December 2019.The feature is made in the spirit of the four 'Inventions for Radio', which Delia Derbyshire collaborated on with the dramatist Barry Bermange across 1963-1965.The piece is an attempt to illustrate with sounds and voices the story of White Noise's album An Electric Storm – how the album came to be made, its distinctive qualities, cultural significance and ongoing influence on artists today.All the voices were recorded from life and arranged in a setting of radiophonic sound in twelve movements.Drawing on music and sound design by Delia Derbyshire, Brian Hodgson and David Vorhaus from the Kaleidophon years when An Electric Storm was made and released, the feature includes interviews with Ian Campbell, Chris Carter, Ian Heliwell, Suzy Mangion, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Adrian Utley, Martyn Ware and Mandy Wigby as well as an original arrangement and performance of 'Firebird' by Morris Clarke
