Therefore, the researcher described and documented the Langkah Jepin Sorong Dayong in the form of writing, pictures, and videos. The method in this research was descriptive method with qualitative research form and choreography approach. The source of the data in the study was the Langkah Jepin Sorong Dayong. The data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation study. The data validity testing technique used was the lengthening of the observation and triangulation of sources. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the motion structure of the Langkah Jepin Sorong Dayong in Desa Kalimas Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kuburaya Kalimantan Barat was as follows:There were 8 types of motion which consist of Langkah Bujur, Langkah Sorong Dayong, Langkah Gersik, Langkah Kembang Payung, Langkah Jarum Mesin, Langkah Tak Sampai, Loncat Tiong, Langkah Betiti Batang, Langkah Baki Juaddah and Langkah Tahto. The Langkah Jepin Sorong Dayong consists of 191 Motion Motives, 119 Motion Phrase, 32 Motion Sentences and 8 Motion Group which became a complete unit of motion in the Langkah Jepin Sorong Dayong.Keywords: Motion Structure, Langkah Jepin Sorong Dayon

Get PDFAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis simbol dan makna gerak tari upacara ritual Boren Dayong serta mendeskripsikan implementasi pada pelajaran seni budaya di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan etnokoreologi. Sumber data Dibah, Olon, Deng, dan Pitau dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dari gerak tari yang memiliki simbol dan makna dalam upacara ritual Boren Dayong adalah gerak Bauh, Selonyai, dan Tohek. Ketiga gerak ini akan terlihat bentuk simbol dan makna geraknya apabila ditarikan dengan secara berkelompok dengan masyarakat sebagai medianya. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan dalam pelajaran seni budaya SMP kelas VII semester II. The research method that used is descriptive method with qualitative forms and approaches etnokoreologi. With Dibah, Olon, Deng, and Pitau as data sources by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the dance that has symbols and ritual significance in Dayong Boren is motion Bauh, Selonyai, and Tohek. Those three motions will be seen as symbols and meanings motion when danced in groups with community as the media. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
