ECR Spotlight-Theo Navarro and Davide Thambithurai
ECR Spotlight is a series of interviews with early-career authors from a selection of papers published in Journal of Experimental Biology and aims to promote not only the diversity of early-career researchers (ECRs) working in experimental biology but also the huge variety of animals and physiological systems that are essential for the 'comparative' approach. Theo Navarro and Davide Thambithurai are authors on 'Evidence that tolerance of acute warming declines with increasing body mass within fish species', published in JEB. Theo is a PhD student in the lab of David McKenzie (CNRS), Xavier Cousin (INRAE) and Isabelle Leguen (INRAE) at MARBEC: Centre pour la Biodiversite Marine l'Exploitation et la Conservation, France, investigating fish physiology and behaviour. Davide conducted the research described in this article while a Postdoctoral Researcher in Manuela Capello's lab at MARBEC-University of Montpellier, Sete, France. Davide is now a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, investigating fish physiology, behaviour and evolution
W.A.Mozart, Davide penitente: an author's counterfeit
