Nelson Rodrigues e sua cena: teatro da dupla tensão, cinema da síntese

Programa de Pós-graduação em LiteraturaEsta tese busca uma leitura possível das razões do fracasso de grande parte das adaptações da dramaturgia de Nelson Rodrigues para o cinema. Sua primeira investida percorre o teatro rodrigueano, elaborando o conceito de dupla tensão como marca do autor. A primeira tensão, articulada ainda nos domínios temáticos, responderia pelo embate firmado entre o Brasil anterior à gripe-espanhola e os "novos tempos", dominados por uma modernidade produtora de tripla decadência, como pensa Eric Hobsbawm. A segunda tensão, insinuada nos domínios estéticos, promoveria certo afastamento do conceito de drama puro, segundo teoria de Peter Szondi, ao se deixar contaminar por gêneros diversos, posicionando-se entre o melodramático e o trágico. Neste contexto, Toda nudez será castigada, peça de 1965, seria o ponto mais alto desta trajetória. Tal conformação, perseguida em todo o teatro do autor, não parece ter encontrado eco nas releituras do cinema, quase todas reducionistas do universo tensional. A única experiência de exceção parece acontecer na versão de Arnaldo Jabor justamente para Toda nudez será castigada, filme de 1973 que transforma em ritmo próprio as tensões típicas da dramaturgia rodrigueana, movimento contrário às outras versões, que tentaram corrigi-las com sínteses nas mais variadas proposições
Rodrigues parameters on dual hyperbolic unit sphere H20
No full textRodrigues parameters depend on the tangent of the half rotation angle in Euclidean space but in Dual space, dual Rodrigues parameters contain both rotation angle and distance corresponding the shortest distance between the straight lines in R-3. In this paper, we give Cayley's formula for the dual hyperbolic spherical motion and explain 3x3 type L-Dual skew symmetric matrices by using properties of this formula. No full textResumo: Nelson Rodrigues é conhecido por ser um escritor obsessivo, reiterando muitas vezes certos temas, certos procedimentos, certos personagens. Uma de suas maiores obsessões foi seu amigo Otto Lara Resende, inúmeras vezes retratado em seus trabalhos. Este artigo analisa como o escritor mineiro é apresentado nas obras de Nelson, que estratégias são utilizadas para isso e a que serve tratar constantemente da personalidade de Otto em textos nos quais ele surge meio abruptamente em meio a outros personagens, interagindo com eles com a máxima naturalidade, ou em que é citado como protagonista de histórias exemplares ou emissor de frases marcadas por extraordinário brilhantismo verbal.Palavras-chave: Nelson Rodrigues; Otto Lara Resende; obsessão; ficção e realidade.Abstract: Nelson Rodrigues is well-known for being an obsessive writer, often reiterating subjects, procedures, and characters. One of his strongest and most recurring obsessions was his friend Otto Lara Resende, a writer and journalist who was portrayed many times in his works. Analysing partner selection through exchange values
No full textDynamic and resource-constrained environments raise interesting issues for partnership formation and multi-agent systems. In a scenario in which agents interact with each other to exchange services, if computational resources are limited, agents cannot always accept a request, and may take time to find available partners to delegate their needed services. Several approaches are available to solve this problem, which we explore through an experimental evaluation in this paper. In particular, we provide a computational implementation of Piaget's exchange-values theory, and compare its performance against alternatives
