In particular, name disambiguation is required to allow accurate publication lists, citation counts and impact measures to be determined. This paper describes a graph-based approach to author disambiguation on large-scale citation networks. Using self-citation, co-authorship and document source analyses, AKTiveAuthor clusters papers, achieving precision of 0.997 and recall of 0.818 over a test group of eight surname clusters

No full textThe existence, principle and name of library science, and its relation - if any - with informatics or information science has been the subject of recurring arguments of professionals. The present author reviews these discussions with presenting and confronting the most characteristic arguments. The difference between library science and information science and technology has been especially discussed as a controversial terminology issue in English-speaking countries, and it has not been decided yet whether they are identical or two different disciplines. No full textA complex analytical framework, the Interactive Party state model (IPS), is offered for revealing the structural and dynamic background of opposite processes: first, the development of the communist party as a political entity into a politically monopolized regime and then to a social system; second, the retreat of the party as a social system towards a politically monopolized regime or a political entity during the process of transformation into another system. We shall point to the fact that it is the structural background of the differences of the transformation process that brings about the different sequence of the retreat of the party as a social system from economic or political sub-fields first. According to the author, the former expresses the same thing from the side of prohibition, while the latter expresses the same from the side of the obligation to act. Considering this, the author examines the administrative and judicial procedures that can be conducted parallel, and the author makes suggestions to avoid any contradictory overlap between them.A tanulmányban a szerző azt vizsgálja, hogy ugyanazt a jogilag releváns magatartást hogyan fedi le a diszkrimináció és az esélyegyenlőség fogalma. A szerző szerint az előbbi ugyanazt fejezi ki a tiltás, míg az utóbbi a tevékenységre kötelezés oldaláról.
