No full textPiazza delle scuole è il recupero urbano dell’area dismessa posta al centro dell’ex complesso delle tramvie di Parma affacciata sui viali di circonvallazione.
L’intervento di un nuovo spazio pubblico è l’occasione strategica di potenziamento e di servizio al sistema dell’istruzione superiore della città insediato a pochi metri, lungo il torrente.
Il progetto interpreta la questione del confronto con il contesto storico e dell’interpretazione contemporanea e non retorica di una configurazione sedimentata, perduta e reinventata.
La piazza sovrappone nuovi disegni ad antiche giaciture: collega il viale con i differenti nuclei del complesso, disegna un’aula all’aperto, introduce una delimitazione spaziale della piazza con il sistema delle panche in pietra e riorienta lo spazio pubblico intorno al disegno circolare del verde centrale.
Il nuovo coperto, che sostituisce un fabbricato incongruo, assume valore dalla presa di distanza spaziale e formale dell’edificato storico e dal suo muro di recinzione

No full textIl saggio costituisce una riflessione metodologica sugli esiti della esperienza progettuale svolta nel progetto di riqualificazione urbana di un delicato punto di contatto tra città storica e città contemporanea. Lo scritto si inserisce in una pubblicazione che coglie l’occasione del progetto di “Piazza delle scuole,” realizzato a Parma all’interno del complesso delle tramvie elettriche di Barriera Bixio, per aprire un dialogo sul rapporto tra storia e progetto d’architettura articolato in due fasi. La prima racconta il confronto attivato sul campo in occasione dell’intervento dello studio di architettura MC2, mentre la seconda svolge un’azione critica a posteriori dai due punti di vista, con interessi scientifici e sensibilità differenti.
A partire da un’esperienza specifica, i contributi raccolti, nella loro diversa impostazione e finalità, assumono, così, il significato di una riflessione metodologica a più voci sul ruolo e l’atteggiamento progettuale dell’architettura contemporanea nei centri storici delle città

Le texte publié dans Hal est la version intégrale.International audienceLe 12 décembre 1969 à Milan, Piazza Fontana, une bombe explose à la Banca dell’Agricoltura, faisant seize morts et des dizaines de blessés. Les “coupables” aussitôt désignés sont les anarchistes, et le soir même le cheminot Giuseppe Pinelli est arrêté. Quarante-huit heures plus tard, il tombe “accidentellement” de la fenêtre du bureau où il était interrogé, situé au quatrième étage du commissariat de police. Suicide, affirme la version officielle des faits.Dans les jours qui suivirent le drame, Pier Paolo Pasolini, répond immédiatement, avec "Patmos", réécriture poétique de l’Apocalypse de Jean. Il reviendra sur les faits cinq ans plus tard, à la suite de nouveaux attentats, avec un article du "Corriere della sera" dont l’incipit, "Io so", est demeuré célèbre. En décembre 1970, pour le premier anniversaire de l’attentat de Piazza Fontana, Dario Fo met en scène "Morte accidentale d’un anarchico". Le journaliste et essayiste Giorgio Boatti, lui, prendra le temps d’effectuer une minutieuse enquête-analyse de l’affaire et publiera en 1993 un ouvrage très richement documenté, "Piazza Fontana. 12 dicembre 1969 : il giorno dell’innocenza perduta".Tous trois ont réagi par écrit, conformément à leur “métier”, mais en recourant à trois genres littéraires différents, trois domaines hybrides du fait de la manière dont ils les ont traités : le pastiche ou le pamphlet (Pasolini), le théâtre comico-grotesque (Dario Fo) et l’essai à mi-chemin entre document et roman (Boatti). Tous trois dénoncent une violence d’État qui s’inscrit dans la “stratégie de la tension” dérivée de “l’autunno caldo” de 1969

A descriptive definition of an integral is a definition which provides a ``description'' of the space of primitives. The derivatives in some sense of the primitives are the integrands.
In this paper the author introduces a descriptive method of integrating distributions: the regulated primitive integral.

The derivative here is in the sense of the distributions (i.e. a distributional or weak derivative). Then the integrable distributions are those distributions (in the Schwartz's sense) that are the distributional derivative of a function in .
The regulated primitive integral is a proper extension of the integral of distribution defined by L. Schwartz [Théorie des distributions. (French) Publications de l'Institut de Mathématique de l'Université de Strasbourg, No. IX-X. Hermann, Paris 1966 xiii+420, 46.40 (44.00), MR0209834 (35730)]. Moreover it is proved that the space of regulated integrable distributions is the completion of the space of signed Radon measures in the Alexiewicz norm, but it is not the completion in this norm of the Henstock-Kurzweil integrable functions. The functions of bounded variation constitute its dual space and also the space of multipliers. In the introduction a wide
panorama of descriptive and constructive integration methods is given.

No full textThe paper deals with some classical examples in vector integration due to Phillips, Hagler and Talagrand, revisited from the point of view of the Birkhoff and McShane integrals. More precisely, the author considers:
- Phillips' example of a Pettis integrable function f which is not Birkhoff integrable [R. S. Phillips, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 47 (1940), 114--145; MR0002707 (2,103c)]. It is proved here that f is universally McShane integrable.
- Hagler's example of a scalarly measurable l∞-valued function g which is not strongly measurable. The function g is proved to be universally Birkhoff integrable.
- Talagrand's example of a bounded Pettis integrable function φ having no conditional expectation [M. Talagrand, Mem. Amer. Math. Soc. 51 (1984), no. 307, ix+224 pp.; MR0756174 (86j:46042)]. Here the author shows that φ is also Birkhoff integrable, giving a negative answer to the question whether conditional expectations exist within the Birkhoff theory.
Some interesting open problems are also stated.

No full textIn this paper the author gives a generalization of the Arzela-Ascoli theorem for partial defined functions, i.e., for functions defined in a nonempty subset of a metric space X and taking values in a metric space Y. To this end suitable definitions of local and uniform convergence for partial defined functions are introduced. As an application a different proof of a known result concerning the existence of Lipschitz selections for Lipschitz multifunctions is given.

Cross-Border Interoperability for Travelling Patients: A Proposal for Italian and American Patients
No full textThis paper describes how information and communication technology (ICT) can facilitate continuity of care for people travelling in foreign countries or on foreign continents. A possible solution is to share the Patient Summary, a clinical document containing information on the health status of the patient. Intercontinental sharing of this document would be easier if the Patient Summary were digitised and based on international standards of interoperability. A number of projects have been developed to create the Patient Summary as a digitallystructured document, and to share it on regional, national, European Union (EU) or American levels. However, there is no current infrastructure or infostructure capable of supporting intercontinental document sharing and implementation in the short term that will give immediate results. An initial experiment with the sharing of the Patient Summary, based on interoperability between
physicians in distant countries with a high volume of reciprocal tourism, can bevundertaken in Italy and the United States of America (USA),vtwo countries that are currently experiencing an increase in tourism

No full textIn this paper the author essentially discusses the difference between the Henstock-Kurzweil and McShane integrals of vector-valued functions from the descriptive point of view. He first considers three notions of absolute continuity for vector-valued functions AC, AC*, AC_{\delta}) and studies the relationships between the corresponding classes of functions. Then he uses such notions to give descriptive characterizations of the Henstock-Kurzweil and McShane integrable functions
