MIKE – Medien, Interaktion, Kinder, Eltern : Ergebnisbericht zur MIKE-Studie 2021
MIKE steht für Medien, Interaktion, Kinder, Eltern. Die Studie wird seit 2015 im Zweijahresrhythmus durchgeführt und gibt ein repräsentatives Bild über das Medienverhalten von in der Schweiz lebenden Kindern im Primarschulalter. Im Jahr 2021 wurden insgesamt 1059 Kinder und 597 Elternteile befragt.
Ein Auszug aus den Ergebnissen: Spielen, Sport und soziale Kontakte prägen die Freizeit von Primarschulkindern in der Schweiz. Erst dann folgt mit Gaming eine digitale Tätigkeit. Die neue MIKE-Studie zeigt zudem, dass das Mediennutzungsverhalten der Sechs- bis Dreizehnjährigen trotz erhöhter Nutzung während der Coronapandemie wieder auf einem ähnlichen Niveau wie zuvor ist.
Die erhobenen medialen und nonmedialen Freizeittätigkeiten von Kindern und Eltern werden jeweils nach folgenden Merkmalen analysiert: Alter, Geschlecht, Sprachregion, Herkunft, sozioökonomischer Status, Urbanitätsgrad und Familiengrösse.
Die MIKE-Studie liefert ein solides Fundament an repräsentativen Befunden für verschiedene Institutionen und Behörden sowie für Privatpersonen
