Dania Achermann is junior professor of Historical Science and Technology Studies at the University of Wuppertal (IZWT). She is currently leader of the Ambizone project «Ice Cores, Small States and the Global Climate Change: The Rise of a New Scientific Discipline», funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The project was initiated by Kim Fox in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JRMC) along with Hoda Mostafa, Maha Bali and Nadine Aboulmagd, all from the Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT). The bulk of the content that was created for the #AUCdiaries podcasts was completed by students as part of AUC courses. As such, this is both a digital pedagogy project, since students learn while producing, and a digital scholarship project, since the output is considered to be digital scholarship

Im Fokus des Podcasts stehen zwei solcher Initiativen: corona-memory.ch von der Universität Bern und covidmemory.lu von der Universität Luxembourg. Dania Achermann spricht mit Tobias Hodel und Tizian Zumthurm darüber, wozu es solche digitalen Archive braucht, was für Erinnerungen gesammelt werden, welche fehlen und was dies alles über unser aktuelles Geschichtsverständnis aussagt.
