No full textEgidio Ivetic describes the Adriatic as the ‘small Mediterranean’ or the ‘sea of intimacy’ (Predrag Matvejevic). The author explores Adriatic as a single historical space from the first cultures of the Neolithic Age to the present day. The author’s long familiarity with the Adriatic and its coasts, since the time he was a seaman of the Yugoslav navy in the 1980s on the Yugoslav Navy training ship Galeb, gives additional familiarity to his scholarly knowledge of different historical layers of the Adriatic. Ivetic is also a very well-skilled essayist who helps readers enjoy the book and consume it both as a scientific monography and as a novel.
Adriatic, like other closed fronter seas, has been a zone of meditation between diversities; it is a sea of sharp contrasts despite being a liquid plan (Fernand Braudel). Author’s reflection on history always begins with geography, which makes him a historian inspired by Braudel. Nonetheless, he embraces the approach of Peregrine Horden and Nicholas Purcell of doing historical research of the Mediterranean convinced as a maritime unity with its own characteristics and their evolution over time.

No full textThe research will focus on the misuse of historical facts related to the Staro Sajmište camp in Serbia and the Jasenovac camp in Croatia from the 1980s until 2022. Analysis of legislature, proposed and passed, related to Staro Sajmište and its memorialization will be additionally researched, as well as different historical narratives about responsibility for crimes connected to Staro Sajmište. Also, memory politics and Holocaust remembrance in the cases of Serbia and Croatia, and its evolution since the end of Socialist Yugoslavia will be analysed. The central part of the research will be focused on the rise of distorted narratives regarding selected camps that will be analysed through the activities of selected historians, researchers, politicians, and public figures. On the spatial and temporal coherence of wireless vehicular short range channels
No full textWe consider spatial and temporal coherence of the vehicle–to–vehicle (V2V) wireless communication channel with focus on a suburban residential highway. The dominant reflectors in such an environment are vehicles passing in the adjacent lane and houses
along the road. Instead of treating the reflectors as point targets, the V2V short range propagation environment requires partitioning of the illuminated reflector side into
sufficiently small tiles. The channel transfer function is obtained as a superposition of specular reflections from the tiles, the line–of–sight (LOS) component, and the ground reflection. The tile size is selected to ensure that the ratio of the tile area to the tile–to–receiver distance satisfies the far field conditions. The reflected power is described by the tile radar cross section (RCS). The bistatic physical optics RCS model is adapted to account for the tile’s orientation with respect to the ray geometry. We apply the superposition model to the numerical analysis of two general scenarios
for a 22MHz channel in the 2.4GHz band. The first scenario considers a single vehicle reflector passing in the lane adjacent to the V2V communication pair. Both the vector network analyzer (VNA) experiments and the tiling model analysis illustrate that repositioning of the reflector, the transmitter, or the receiver by a few centimeters results in change of the signal power by several decibels. The second scenario analysis characterizes the channel coherence statistics for the
suburban residential highway. We consider the V2V single lane LOS and non–LOS geometries, where in the latter the receiver is shadowed by a large vehicle. The reflectors are both houses and vehicles passing in the opposite direction. The measure of channel coherence is the normalized spatial covariance calculated by correlating transfer functions corresponding to feasible receiver position pairs and performing spatial smoothing. The area of feasible receiver positions is divided into contiguous squares
whose size ensures wide sense quasi–stationarity within the square. Irrespective of direction the correlation remains high and a typical sedan roof usually does not provide sufficient spacing to obtain average inter–antenna correlation lower than 0.5. The upper bound on coherence time extends over the transmission time of multiple packets for systems in the considered band, and does not allow for usable time diversity.Ph.D.Includes bibliographical referencesIncludes vitaby Haris Krem

коју су користили становници града Сомбора. Ово право се остваривало на јавној
лицитацији и додељивало се ономе ко би понудио највише новца новца за годишњи
закуп. Закупац је потписивао уговор с градом у коме су прецизиране обавезе и
права обе стране. У прилогу рада дат је као пример уговор који је потписан између
града Сомбора и Лазара Розенцвајга за закуп Свратишта, од новембра 1821. године. Сличног су садржаја и други уговори који су сачињени у ову сврху. Право на
закуп Свратишта било је узрок многих спорова и трвења међу члановима Јеврејске
заједнице у Сомбору. На основу увида у грађу која се односила на активности
Јеврејске заједнице Сомбора почетком 19. века, спор у вези са закупом Свратишта
било је једно од најзначајнијих и најдужих правних питања у Сомбору у прве две
деценије 19. века међу члановима Јеврејске заједнице.In the early 19th century, although the Jewish community in Sombor had
barely two hundred members, its merchant activities were intensive. For all
Jewish merchants coming to Sombor, the Jewish Inn was the key institution
where they could stay while working in Sombor. The right to lease the Jewish
Inn was one of the privileges enjoyed by Sombor residents. This right was
realised at a public auction and awarded to whoever offered the highest amount
for the annual lease. The tenant signed a contract with the city, specifying
the obligations and rights of both parties. The appendix of the paper gives
an example of the contract signed between the city of Sombor and Lazar
Rosenzvaig to lease the Inn from November 1821. Other contracts drawn up
for this purpose have a similar content. The right to lease the Inn was the
cause of many disputes and disagreements among the members of the Jewish
community in Sombor. Based on an insight into the documents related to the
activities of the Jewish community of Sombor in the early 19th century, the
dispute regarding the lease of the Inn was one of the most significant and
protracted legal issues in Sombor in the first two decades of the 19th century
among the members of this community
