Evolució de la línia de costa a dues platges encaixades: Es Domingos Grans i Es Domingos Petits (2002-2019)

micromareals i d’ambient poc energètic (mitjana d’onatge = 0’71 m Hs) del llevant de Mallorca
(Es Domingos Grans i Es Domingos Petits). S’han utilitzat orto-fotos de 2002 fins a 2019, per
digitalitzar 7 línies de costa a cada platja. Mitjançant l’eina DSAS s’han calculat les taxes de
canvi de la línia de costa, i els canvis en la superfície de la platja seca. Els resultats obtinguts
indiquen que les dues platges presenten una correlació lineal positiva alta (R2=0’86) en la
seva evolució, per tant tenen un comportament morfo dinàmic similar. El paràmetre Shoreline
Change Envelope determina una variabilitat de línia de costa de 36 m (Es Domingos Petits) i
25 m (Es Domingos Grans), la variabilitat és major a n’Es Domingos Petits ja que està
exposada als onatges més septentrionals, més freqüents. L’àrea d’estudi presenta una
tendència general d’acreció amb indicadors mitjans de Linear Regression Rate elevats (1’19
m any-1 a 1’23 m any-1). La superfície de platja seca d’ambdues platges (2019) és superior al
seu estat inicial, encara que durant els 18 anys estudiats, hi ha hagut dos períodes erosius
on aquesta s’ha reduït (2011-2012 i 2012-2015). A més, observant l’estat inicial de les platges
(2002) i les dades d’onatges màxims dels mesos anteriors, es podria que els temporals
extrems tenen certa relació amb els episodis d’erosió.[eng] This work deals with the coastline evolution and spatial variability of two microtidal low energy
(mean wave = 0.71 m Hs) pocket beaches in the east coast of Mallorca (Es Domingos Grans
and Es Domingos Petits). Orthophotos from 2002 to 2019, were analyzed to digitalize seven
shorelines for each beach. With the use of DSAS tool, the rates of change throughout coastline
were able to be calculated, as well as the changes in the surface of the subaerial beach. The
results obtained indicate that the two beaches have a high positive linear correlation (R2=0.86)
in their evolution, thus resulting in similar morpho-dynamic behavior. The Shoreline Change
Envelope parameter determines a variability of 36 m (Es Domingos Petits) and 25 m (Es
Domingos Grans), the variability is greater in Es Domingos Petits since it is exposed to more
northern and frequent waves. The study area shows a general tendency to increase with
medium Linear Regression Rate indicators (1.19 m any-1 to 1.23 m any-1). The area of
subaerial beach of both sites (2019) is higher than its initial status, although during the 18
years studied, there have been two periods of erosion in this area (2011-2012 and 2012-
2015). Moreover, observing the initial status of the beaches (2002) and the maximum data
from the previous months, it is possible that the extreme seasons are closely related to the
episodes of erosion

Programa de Pós-Graduação em Agroecossistemas.Ao serem assentados numa determinada área, os agricultores beneficiários do processo de reforma agrária se vêem na contingência de estabelecer novas relações com o meio que passam a ocupar e reestruturar seus sistemas produtivos. Na definição e conformação desses sistemas, diversos fatores influenciam e direcionam os processos decisórios associados a eles. A presente dissertação tem por objetivo discutir e apontar alguns desses fatores cuja influência é mais marcante. Para tanto, parte-se da análise do Assentamento Domingos Carvalho, localizado no município de Rio Negrinho/SC. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de observação participante e de entrevistas semi-estruturadas com os assentados, técnicos do Incra, do Icepa, do Projeto Lumiar e um membro da Coordenação Estadual do MST. A análise das informações obtidas aponta as questões internas, inerentes aos próprios assentados (especialmente a trajetória de vida e as perspectivas de futuro) como predisponentes ou mesmo, em alguns casos, condicionantes para a adoção de um determinado sistema agrícola. A ausência dos atores sociais externos ao assentamento em momentos cruciais do processo de desenvolvimento, foi um fator que estimulou o abandono de atividades "novas" (como a olericultura e a bovinocultura de leite) e o retorno àquelas "tradicionais" (principalmente o milho e o feijão), cujo itinerário técnico é de domínio dos agricultores. A motivação para a adoção desses cultivos ultrapassa razões meramente objetivas e utilitaristas, estando baseada também numa valorização simbólica e subjetiva atribuída a eles

A pesquisa mostra, além da realidade do setor cerâmica vermelha no Sul do Estado de Santa Catarina, uma amostra dos requisitos necessários para satisfazer os consumidores, no que diz respeito a blocos cerâmicos de vedação, mostrando a facilidade e a vantagem da aplicação do QFD (Desdobramento da Função Qualidade). A pesquisa mostra, com detalhes, como proceder para determinar e relacionar a voz dos consumidores, com as etapas do processo de produção e como garantir qualidade dos produtos, efetuando melhorias no processo, dispensando as opiniões pessoais, contando com a segurança de uma metodologia cientificamente definida. Além de propor o modelo, a pesquisa mostra, em números, o resultado da aplicação da metodologia em empresas da Região Sul. The paper here show, is a contribution for problem solving of red ceramic industries in the south of Santa Catarina state, which intend to improve their production processes by guiding them towards the satisfaction of their consumers, thus providing a competitive advantage for their companies. The reality of the red ceramic sector in the south of Santa Catarina. The research shows a sample of necessary requisites to please the consumers concerning sealing ceramic blocks, by showing the easiness and the advantage of QFD application. Design for healthcare in current and future cities: Exploring assessment tools and methods for evaluating sustainability and inclusion in healthcare complex infrastructures
No full textGiven the pressing demand for hospitals to embody innovation and adaptability, it is significant that the majority of these institutions already reached the end of their estimated optimal lifespan. This situation prompts a critical inquiry into how to integrate both the physical, organizational, and social qualities of the healthcare environment and how to analyze the data collected within hospitals, to achieve the objective of creating sustainable cities. This paper explores the development and application of evidence-based tools in healthcare-built environments, focusing on enhancing quality, sustainability, and user-centered experiences. Specifically, it describes the methodological evolution of two innovative tools developed within research projects, specifically focusing on the assessment of sustainability and inclusion criteria in complex infrastructures for health. Based on different methodological steps, these tools provide comprehensive data collection and reliable analysis due to their development and criteria elicitation methods including Systematic Literature Review, Assessment Tool Review, Best Practices Analysis as well as Weighting Approach with multiple criteria analysis to support decision-making, emphasizing a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to address future healthcare challenges. The findings highlight the implications of such tools in influencing policy, advocating for a holistic view in healthcare design and operation to better meet diverse user needs and therefore contribute to the sustainable design of current and future cities
