No full textIn questo articolo è sviluppata una analisi di tipo LCA in riferimento ad un caso studio di un impianto eolico installato in una zona mediamente ventosa dell’Italia del sud. La tecnologia eolica di piccola-media taglia è oggi particolarmente interessante perché, pur presentando costi unitari di impianto superiori a quelli dell’eolico di grande potenza, proprio in virtù delle dimensioni ridotte, consente di limitare in partel’impatto ambientale degli aerogeneratori, risultando più facilmente compatibile con il contesto paesaggistico.
Simulazioni, condotte in relazione ai valori di letteratura caratterizzanti il caso studio, hanno evidenziato che questi aerogeneratori determinano, nel corso della loro vita utile, pay-backs energetici completamente sostenibili; con questa affermazione si intende che la produzione di energia elettrica per via eolica, realizzata nelle fasi di esercizio dell’impianto, genera benefici, nei termini di minor utilizzo di energia primaria da fonte fossile, che sono decisamente superiori ai fabbisogni energetici caratterizzanti le fasi manifatturiera e post-operativa. Infine, sebbene i tempi di ritorno energetico siano, anche per questa tecnologia, inferiori al pay-back economico, le differenze tra questo ultimo e i primi appaiono meno significative rispetto a quelle riscontrabile in altre tecnologie alimentati da fonte rinnovabile

No full textA correlation, independent by Reynolds number, among inner, and outer and null shear stress radius, is utilized with the consequent shear stress distribution in order to obtain the velocity and length scales being in the turbulent velocity log-law for a fully developed turbulent flow in annular axisymmetric tubes. Present non-dimensionalizing of experimental data concerning the velocity profiles of different values of the Reynolds number and the radius ratio x = r SUB i/r SUB e, characterising the annulus geometry, singles out a logarithmic law valid for all experimental data concerning the outer region. By the continuity conditions of axial velocity and turbulent diffusivity at the null shear stress radius the trends of coefficients K SUB 1 and B SUB 1, in the log-law concerning the inner region ar determined. the comparison with the non-dimensional distribution, have obtained from the experimental data, points out that their weak dependence on the Reynolds number and suggests, for low x values, the influence of the inner radius on the same distributions. No full textLo studio dei fenomeni di scambio termico nelle strutture ospedaliere rappresenta oggi un tema di studio decisamente importante sia per l’entità dei fabbisogni energetici sia per il fondamentale ruolo sociale di queste strutture.
Questo articolo costituisce il resoconto di una attività di ricerca pluriennale sull’energetica degli ospedali. Delle otto strutture ospedaliere della provincia di Ferrara scelte come campione rappresentativo sono stati determinati in modo accurato i fabbisogni energetici studiando i fenomeni di scambio termico sia in regime mediamente stazionario sia in regime transitorio. Le indagini sono state condotte sia in riferimento allo stato di fatto sia in riferimento ad una sua verosimile evoluzione futura in cui si è fatto riferimento alle prescrizioni della attuale normativa tecnica e della letteratura specifica.
Si è infine giunti ad una valutazione qualitativa dell’isolamento termico delle varie strutture ospedaliere nei termini delle prevalenti tipologie di strutture scambianti, evidenziando le situazioni di potenziale vulnerabilità

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
