No full textIl presente elaborato tratta il tema dell'inclusione di genere nelle realtà organizzative, con particolare riferimento a due casi aziendali: GAIA S.p.A. e Webuild S.p.A.
Lo studio nasce con l'intento di mettere in luce il percorso svolto al fine di ridurre il gender gap nel contesto europeo, ma più nello specifico italiano, ma anche gli sforzi da mettere in atto per eliminare il gap ancora esistente nonostante le diverse normative già in atto a tutela della presenza femminile. Il tema è risultato una leva strategica nelle azioni messe in campo a livello europeo e italiano per la ripresa della pandemia Covid-19, e difatti, alla luce delle azioni strategiche delineate dalla "Strategia Europea 2020-2025 e dall'"Agenda 2030", il focus affronta la tematica della parità di genere avente risvolti nel contesto decisionale e strategico delle aziende. Con riferimento a quest'ultimo inciso, sono risultate di rilevante importanza le evidenze accademiche che mostrano come la presenza femminile può essere strategica, sia con risvolti nella performance economico-finanziaria e sia nella performance ESG. A seguire il riferimento alle due realtà aziendali sopra riportate ha permesso di mettere in risalto le procedure adottate, in primis da un'azienda territoriale e in secondo luogo da una società quotata, in complementarietà tra loro toccando con mano azioni e strumenti attuati al fine di rendere concreto il superamento di barriere a cui si trovano di fronte le donne nelle loro carriere professionali. GAIA S.p.A. l'ha vista coinvolta recentemente nell'iter di ottenimento della certificazione della parità di genere, oltre ad un impegno a 360 gradi, a partire dal linguaggio inclusivo messi in pratica al fine di garantire a tutti i suoi lavoratori la conciliazione vita-lavoro e l'inclusione di genere. Webuild S.p.A., gruppo multinazionale quotato nella Borsa di Milano, lo vede impegnato con diverse procedure, tra cui i programmi di mentoring e iter selettivi "inclusion oriented", oltre a credere profondamente nella diversità, tra cui quella di genere, quale leva strategica per la crescita.
This thesis addresses the issue of gender inclusion within organizational settings, with particular reference to two corporate case studies: GAIA S.p.A. and Webuild S.p.A. The research aims to shed light on the progress made in reducing the gender gap within the European context, particularly in Italy, as well as on the efforts still required to eliminate the existing inequalities, despite the presence of several regulatory frameworks designed to protect and promote women's participation in the labor market. Gender equality has emerged as a strategic lever in the policies and initiatives implemented at both European and national levels in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. In this regard, the strategic actions outlined in the European Strategy for Gender Equality 2020–2025 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development have brought gender equality to the forefront, with significant implications for corporate governance and strategic planning. In light of these developments, academic literature has played a crucial role in demonstrating how female representation can contribute positively not only to a company’s economic and financial performance, but also to its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) outcomes. Against this background, the analysis of the two selected companies enables an in-depth exploration of the practices and measures adopted, first by a local public utility, and subsequently by a publicly listed multinational corporation. These two realities offer complementary approaches, allowing for a concrete examination of the tools and strategies employed to overcome the structural barriers that women often face in their professional careers. GAIA S.p.A. has recently undertaken the process of obtaining gender equality certification and has demonstrated a comprehensive commitment to inclusion. This includes, among other initiatives, the adoption of inclusive language and the promotion of work-life balance policies, aimed at ensuring gender inclusion and well-being for all employees. Webuild S.p.A., a multinational group listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, has likewise implemented various procedures, such as mentoring programs and "inclusion-oriented" recruitment processes. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
