Generalized Kotov-Ushakov Attack on Tropical Stickel Protocol Based on Modified Tropical Circulant Matrices
After the Kotov-Ushakov attack on the tropical implementation of Stickel protocol, various attempts have been made to create a secure variant of such implementation. Some of these attempts used a special class of commuting matrices resembling tropical circulants, and they have been proposed with claims of resilience against the Kotov-Ushakov attack, and even being potential post-quantum candidates. This paper, however, reveals that a form of the Kotov-Ushakov attack remains applicable and, moreover, there are heuristic implementations of that attack which have a polynomial time complexity and show an overwhelmingly good success rate
Логистика скоропортящихся грузов в процессе транспортного взаимодействия
For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT Transportation of perishable goods across the territory of the Russian Federation faces considerable difficulties, including regular transformation of economic conditions. The main problem in this issue is to determine the degree of significance of the criteria of logistical processes associated with the delivery of perishable goods. The article presents the main parameters of logistical transport processes in the delivery of ordinary and perishable goods, their comparative assessment was carried out. On the example of analysis of cargo flows in the port of Vladivostok, time intervals of increased demand for logistics services were revealed. Optimal schemes of interaction of various modes of transport in the service of perishable goods are determined. Phase transformations in oxides above 2000°C: Experimental technique development
Oxidation of carbides-based ultra-high temperature ceramics is the main limiting factor for its use for aerodynamic surfaces. Experimental thermodynamic and structural data for refractory oxides above 2000 °C are mostly absent. The following techniques applied to fill this gap will be discussed: i) Commercial ultra-high temperature differential thermal analyzers (DTA) allow investigation of phase transformations and melting in inert environment to the temperatures up to 2500 °C; ii) Combination of laser heating with splittable nozzle aerodynamic levitator allow splat quenching and drop calorimetry from temperatures limited only by sample evaporation; iii) Synchrotron X-ray and neutron diffraction on laser heated aerodynamically levitated oxide samples allow in situ observation of phase transformations in variable atmosphere, refinement of high temperature structures and thermal expansion. The recent experimental findings include anomalous thermal expansion of defect fluorite structure of YSZ before melting [1] and measurement of fusion enthalpy of Y2O3, which can be used for sensitivity calibration for DTA at 2430 °C [2]. These methods provide temperatures, enthalpies and volume change on phase transformations above 2000 °C which are complementary experimental data for optimization of CalPhaD databases.

Classical trajectory calculations of the high pressure limiting rate constants and of specific rate constants for the reaction H + O2 → HO2: dynamic isotope effects between tritium + O2 and muonium + O2.
The potential energy surface of the reaction H + O-2 --> HO2 is characterized by ab initio calculations. Based on these results, classical trajectory calculations of the capture of T, D, H, and muonium by O-2 are made. Thermal rate constants as well as energy- and angular momentum-specific rate constants are determined. The calculated high pressure recombination rate constants at 300 K agree well with the limited experimental information available so far which gives confidence in the computed temperature dependence (calculations over the temperature range 30 to 5000 K). The calculated rate coefficients are represented in comparison to results from phase space theory which leads to the rigidity factors of the reaction. Markedly nonadiabatic dynamics is observed in the case of muonium + O-2 while the reaction T + O-2 approaches adiabatic dynamics. The observed dynamic isotope effect is most pronounced at low temperatures whereas it nearly disappears at high temperatures

Covid-19: Results of the second expert survey
Science reacted to the coronavirus epidemic in the same way as whole of society, which perceived it as a real threat to its normal functioning, and even to its existence in general. Psychological science, of course, was not an exception to the general rule. And although we are not talking about renaming the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences into the Institute of Psychological Mechanisms (Factors, Con-sequences, etc.) of the Coronavirus Pandemic, it influenced the topics studied at the Institute, the scope of which turned out to be significantly expanded and modified. In line with this trend, the authors conducted a second survey of psychologists who had published articles in the journals “Voprosy Psychologii” and “Psyk-chologicheckii Zhurnal”, indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus, in 2014–2020. These psychologists were termed as experts on the socio-psychological context of the epidemic, which allowed to accord the status of an expert survey to the study. Primary attention given to the socio-psychological context and sampling profes-sional psychologists define the main difference between the survey conducted by the authors and numerous recent studies of the coronavirus epidemic. The expert survey covered 119 respondents representing various branches of psychological science. The questionnaire included 21 questions (listed in the text of the article). The survey was conducted in June 2020, and its main task was to identify the opinions of respondents about the socio-psychological context (causes, consequences, etc.) of the coronavirus epidemic. The authors believe that the answers of the respondents to both closed and open questions of the questionnaire may be of interest to the readers of the Journal

Modifying the tropical version of Stickel's key exchange protocol
summary:A tropical version of Stickel's key exchange protocol was suggested by Grigoriev and Shpilrain (2014) and successfully attacked by Kotov and Ushakov (2018). We suggest some modifications of this scheme that use commuting matrices in tropical algebra and discuss some possibilities of attacks on these new modifications. We suggest some simple heuristic attacks on one of our new protocols, and then we generalize the Kotov and Ushakov attack on tropical Stickel's protocol and discuss the application of that generalized attack to all our new protocols
