Full text linkRadykalna hermeneutyka Johna D. Caputo powstała z połączenia hermeneutyki faktyczności Heideggera, Deridiańskiej dekonstrukcji oraz szalonej logiki ewangelicznego Królestwa Bożego. Jej zastosowanie na polu etyki prowadzi do poetyki zobowiązania wobec umęczonych ciał. Jej politycznym obliczem jest radykalizm nadchodzącej demokracji. To jednak teologia okazała się najbardziej żyznym polem dla radykalno-hermeneutycznych reinterpretacji chrześcijaństwa, których efektem stała się teologia „słabego Boga". Nad całą twórczością Caputo unoszą się widma gorszycielskiej słabości krzyża Jezusa oraz poróżniająca siła chory Platona. Full text linkThrough the writings of Gianni Vattimo and John D. Caputo this text attempts to discover the boundaries of the concept of truth and the meaning of truth for postmodern thinking. It is important to both authors to establish a distance from truth as adaequatio, because they both adopt a position that an authentic response to the reality of a multicultural contemporary world does not permit subscribing to such a conception of truth. The text highlights the new status of truth in a postmetaphysical discourse, namely its impossible character arising from the ethical-practical role that truth assumes in attempts to keep the dialogue open, which is, in turn, an attempt to avoid the slide back into metaphysics. Openness to truth is interpreted through the state of conflict, which occurs when the questioning turns to the very possibilities of dialogue and conflict then shows itself to be essential in avoiding the closure of the question of truth (especially in the fields of politics and science). Science is employed as a paradigmatic example of a closed, self-sufficient rational system, focusing on its hermeneutical roots.Pasitelkiant Gianni Vattimo ir Johno D. Abiem autoriams svarbus distancijos su tiesa kaip adaequatio sukūrimas, nes jie daro prielaidą, kad autentiškas atsakas į daugiakultūrio pasaulio tikrovę nebeleidžia tiesos mąstyti tokiu būdu. Tekste pabrėžiamas tiesos statusas postmetafiziniame diskurse – jos neįmanomybė, kuri kyla iš tiesos etinio praktinio vaidmens siekiant išlaikyti dialogą atvirą, o tai savaime yra mėginimas vengti grįžti į metafiziką. Atvirumas tiesos atžvilgiu tekste interpretuojamas analizuojant konflikto būseną, kuri pasireiškia tais atvejais, kai klausimas pakrypsta prie pačios dialogo galimybės ir konfliktas pasirodo esantis esmingas vengiant tiesos klausimo užsivėrimo ir jo institucionalizavimo (ypač politikos ir mokslo srityse). Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
