No full textInternational audienceIn 2013 I submitted the doctoral thesis entitled ‘INSERTION PAR L’ACTIVITÉ ÉCONOMIQUE’: ENTRE VIVRE EN COMMUN ET TRAVAIL. Analyse de l‘emergence’ of an apparatus. My thesis tutor was Prof. Yves Schwartz and it was presented at Aix-Marseille University, financed under the convention of the CIFRE∗ procedure.The poster which I have displayed concisely summarises the work carried out for this thesis, showing how some conceptual and methodological elements of the path of Foucault can be useful also when working on some topics which fall outside his themes. This requires one condition: to specify how the concepts that are used emerge during the reflections of the author before appropriating and adapting them to this research, which is necessary to avoid inappropriate extrapolations and decontestualisations.The research was developed around the hypothesis according to which the process of work placement seems to be constituted above all as a heterotopia, a sort of ‘crutch’ of the capitalist system, with the function of ‘repairing’ and ‘stemming’ the damage inherent to the system. Following this, it has installed itself in society as an apparatus, for its ability to function as a network and as a mechanism of ‘governmentality’ and of ‘subjection’. This apparatus is though, in reality, an ‘open’ apparatus towards the lines of escape that produce new subjectivities, that is, starting from the norms generated by the apparatus they seem able to transform themselves at opportunities of innovation.The main reference to Foucault in this research project relates to his historical-critical tendancy which has been applied in the attempt to keep together historical (geneocological) analyses and political and social commitments, on precise themes which are locally individualisable
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textInternational audienceAujourd’hui, le secteur de l‘insertion par l'activité économique (IAE) est confronté à des transformations qui concernent, tout à la fois, son modèle économique et politique ainsi que la manière d’organiser sa gouvernance et les relations avec les collectivités publiques et les entreprises « classiques ». Les structures d'insertion par l'activité économique (SIAE) se mesurent à des notions comme « entreprise sociale », « entrepreneur social » et « entrepreneuriat social » qui expriment différentes philosophies et manières d’agir pour réaliser des projets « sociaux ». Mon propos est d'approcher ces notions en les regardant à partir d’une situation concrète, afin de contribuer à « faire retour » sur la question de ce qu’est une « entreprise sociale » et sur le rôle des « entrepreneurs sociaux », notamment, dans et à partir de l’IA

No full textNational audienceDans cette contribution, il s’agira d’abord de proposer une lecture théorique du concept de « dispositif », afin de mieux saisir pourquoi l’Insertion par l’Activité Economique (IAE) peut se définir en tant que dispositif ou ensemble de dispositifs caractérisant les politiques de l’emploi. Ensuite, en lien avec ce propos théorique, il sera pertinent de problématiser quelques aspects autour des valeurs et des transformations du secteur de l’IAE, à partir de son historique et son organisation. Cela sera indiqué notamment par des constats autour de « concepts outils » tels que « projet professionnel », « employabilité » et « parcours ». Enfin, par l’intervention d’un professionnel, il s’agira également de montrer quels sont aujourd’hui les valeurs, les normes et les objectifs de l’IAE. Ainsi, nous pourrons débattre, à partir d’un exemple, des « marges de manœuvre », des arbitrages que les opérateurs des chantiers d’insertion doivent faire au quotidien entre les orientations des politiques de l’emploi, les nécessités de la réalité du travail et les exigences des personnes qu’elles suivent
