Przedstawiono opis przypadku 24-letniego chorego na raka jądra w stadium uogólnienia, z masywnym rozsiewem do płuc, śródpiersia i narządów jamy brzusznej, uogólnioną limfadenopatią oraz z towarzyszącą ostrą niewydolnością nerek na tle ucisku moczowodów przez konglomeraty węzłów chłonnych. Pacjenta poddano chemioterapii radykalnej — początkowo w dawkach adekwatnych do funkcji nerek wraz z okresowo stosowaną hemodializoterapią, następnie w dawkach pełnych. Wdrożono dwie linie chemioterapii, stosowane zgodnie z rytmem, uzyskując ustąpienie objawów choroby oraz częściową regresję zmian obserwowaną w badaniach obrazowych. "Ein Winter in Istanbul" : Transkription des Workshops mit Angelika Overath über kulturelle Begegnungen in Istanbul
No full textDie Abteilung für Deutsche Sprache und Literatur der Hacettepe Universität und das DAAD-Informationszentrum Ankara boten im Frühlingssemester 2018-19 für interessierte Masterstudierende und Doktoranden ein Workshop-Seminar zu kulturellen Konzepten im Werk "Ein Winter in Istanbul" von Angelika Overath an. In diesem Workshop sollten die Teilnehmer versuchen, Hypothesen zum Werk aufzustellen. Zur Vorbereitung für diesen Präsenzworkshop wurden von Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mutlu ER und Assoc. Prof. Dr. Max Florian HERTSCH jeweils ein Seminar mit den Themenkomplexen Kultur, Identität, Diskursanalyse und Hypothesenforschung gehalten. Der Mehrwert des Workshop-Seminars bestand darin, dass die Studierenden Fragen aus den Werken anhand von Hypothesen direkt an die Autorin stellen konnten. Um diese auch anderen Wissenschaftlern nicht vorzuenthalten, entschied man den Workshop aufzunehmen und im Anschluss zu transkribieren.The Department of German Language and Literature at Hacettepe University and the Information Center of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Ankara offered a workshop for interested Master and PhD candidates in 2018-19. The topic was on cultural concepts in the work "A Winter in Istanbul" by Angelika Overath. In this workshop, participants should evolve hypotheses according to the novel. In preparation for this face-to-face workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mutlu ER and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Max Florian HERTSCH gave lectures on the thematic complexes of culture, identity, discourse-analysis and hypothesis research. The main value of the workshop was that students were able to ask questions from the novel directly to the author based on their hypotheses. Maruta Sīle Pētījuma mērķis: pētīt vidējā pirmsskolas vecumposma bērnu dabas norišu pētniecisko prasmju pilnveides iespējas dabas vērojumos. Pētījuma uzdevumi: 1.Analizēt pedagoģijas un psiholoģijas zinātnieku atziņas par pētnieciskajām prasmēm 2.Raksturot pētnieciskās prasmes vidējā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem 3.Organizēt pētījumu un pamatot metožu izvēli 4.Analizēt iegūtos datus Kvalifikācijas darba apjoms: 42 lpp, 4 tabulas, 9 attēli, 35 izmantotās literatūras un informācijas avoti , 1 pielikums. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām- teorētiskās daļas un empīriskās Teorētiskā daļā tika sniegts pētniecisko prasmju termina skaidrojums, prasmju raksturojums vidējā pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem un analizētas dabas norišu pētniecisko prasmju pilnveides iespējas dabas vērojumos. Kā arī apkopotas pedagoģijas un psiholoģijas zinātnieku atziņas par pētnieciskām prasmēm. Teorētiskajā daļā tika izmantoti tādi autoru darbi kā : Berkamne A., Golubina V., Žogla I., Kalniņa D., Volkinšteine J., Dombrava E., u.c. Empīriskajā daļā tika veikta bērnu novērošana dabas vērojumu laikā, balstoties uz izvirzītajiem kritērijiem, lai noteiktu bērnu dabas norišu pētniecisko prasmju līmeni. Pirmsskolas izglītības pedagogu intervijas sniedza ieskatu pedagogu uzskatos par dabas norišu pētniecisko prasmju pilnveides iespējām dabas vērojumos pirmsskolā. No full textOrlando furioso by Ludovico Ariosto as a Poem on Women. Angelica, Marfisa, Bradamante and their heroic epic representation
The article concerns Ludovico Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso, and its interpretation according to which it may be read as a poem about women who break the traditional male monopoly on heroism in the epic literature. The author aims to prove Ariosto’s innovative approach by analyzing Orlando Furioso’s protagonists. Hence the paper is mainly dedicated to three of Ariosto’s characters – Angelica, Marfisa and Bradamante. Those women are presented in a comparative perspective against their traditional prototypes with particular reference to those moments in the poem that render visible Ariosto’s novelty in creating his protagonists. Angelica, Marfisa and Bradamante, especially in contrast with the poem’s male cavalieri seem to be more in line with the canonical representations of heroism.
In the first part of the study, the author presents Ariosto’s Angelica, often interpreted as a mere capricious object of man’s desire. Nevertheless, the character appears as self-aware and confident, striving to make her own decision when it comes to choosing the partner for life. The second part of the article is dedicated to Ariosto’s most canonical virago – Marfisa. Undefeated in the battlefield till the end of the poem, she often breaks her stereotypical comical image and consciously resigns from love. The last part of the study concentrates on Bradamante, who combines both amori and armi: the Christian knight, future founder of the Este noble family despite being in constant pursuit of her lover Ruggero, not sacrificing her passion for chivalry. According to the author of the article, Bradamante should be perceived as the central character of Orlando Furioso, as she carries the main idea of Ariosto’s masterpiece

Diakonia Ammattikorkeakoulu, Hoitotyön koulutusohjelma, Hoitotyön suuntau-tumisvaihtoehto, sairaanhoitaja ja terveydenhoitaja (AMK).
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoitus on tuottaa opas lasten ruoka-aineallergioista somalivanhemmille. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on lisätä somalivanhempien tietosuutta ruoka-aineallergioista. Teoreettisessa viitekehyksessä esitellään ruoka-aineallergiaa, somalikulttuuria ja perheiden ohjaamista lastenneuvolassa.
Opinnäytetyö on toteutettu kirjallisuuskatsauksena, jonka tuotoksena on opas. Opas ja oppaan arviointilomake on lähetetty sähköpostitse kymmenelle somalialaiselle vanhemmalle. Kuusi heistä vastasi. Arviointiin osallistuivat vanhemmat, jotka kuuluvat Taaperokerhoon. Vanhempien palautteiden mukaan opas on ytimekäs, selkeä, helposti luettava ja suurin osa palautteen antaneista saivat siitä uutta hyödyllistä tietoa ruoka-aineallergioista.
Kirjallisuuskatsausta tehtäessä selvisi, että somalialaisten lasten ruoka-aineallergioista löytyy hyvin vähän tutkimuksia. Jatkossa voisi olla kansainväli-sesti hyödyllistä tehdä lisää tutkimuksia somalialaisten lasten ruoka-aineallergioista. Somalinkielellä löytyy erittäin niukasti terveyteen ja sairauksin liittyviä oppaita. Niiden tuottaminen olisi tärkeä somaliväestön hyvinvoinnin kannalta.

The purpose of this thesis was to author a guidebook about food allergies for Somalian parents. The aim was to create awareness among Somalian parents knowledge about food allergies. The theoretical framework of this study is based on the evidence of food allergies, Somalian culture and family guidance in maternity clinic.
This thesis was produced in the form of a literature review which resulted in the form of a guidebook. The effectiveness of the guidebook was assessed by the employing questionnaires which were sent to Somalian mothers by e-mail. According to the feedback collected, the guidebook was succinct, clear, and easily readable and clearly proves that most of the Somalian mothers found important new information about food allergies.
While working on the literature review it became apparent that there is a lack of research carried out on food allergies among Somalian children. Hence there is a great need to conduct further research in this area. In addition to this, there are not enough guidebooks about health and diseases in Somalian language. Thus publishing and making available more of these guidebook is necessary for healthier Finnish Somalian community.
