Mit polityczny Corneliu Zelei Codreanu w myśli współczesnych polskich ugrupowań nacjonalistycznych
The article presents the issue of influence of the political myth of Corneliu Zelea Codreanu on the thought of contemporary Polish nationalist groups. The Legionary Movement is a particular example of combining a strong religious commitment with political extremism. The figure of Codreanu is one of the most frequently invoked in the discourse of contemporary nationalist groups. The aim of this article is to show the influence of the Codreanu myth on the political thought of four contemporary Polish groups: National Revival of Poland, All-Polish Youth, National-Radical Camp, and Falanga. As a result of the analysis of the content presented by the groups mentioned above, the political myth of Codreanu can be considered the most popular personal political myth of contemporary Polish as well as European nationalism.

Deconvolution method for two-dimensional spatial-response mapping of lithographic infrared antennas
The spatial impulse response of antenna-coupled infrared detectors with dimensions comparable with the wavelength is obtained from a two-dimensional scan of a tightly focused CO(2)-laser beam. The method uses an experimental setup with submicrometer resolution and an iterative deconvolution algorithm. The measured spatial response is compared with numerically computed near-field distributions of a dipole antenna, with good agreement.Javier Alda, Christophe Fumeaux, Iulian Codreanu, Jason A. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
La Passion selon Codreanu : les récits de prison d'un fasciste mystique
International audienceThe prison writings of the Romanian fascist leader are interesting from the standpoint of the general problem of Romanian fascism. First by their content and their style, they reflect the pathos of religious discourse in traditionalist fascist countries, particularly through the strong assimilation of Codreanu's sufferings to the Passion of Christ, whose lineaments will be easier to meet in a first time. After this synchronic approach, I will put into perspective the two texts used - his major work, Pentru Legionari, published in 1936 and his final notes written in Jilava prison two years later -, thus measuring the gulf between the two prison experiences on both sides of the electoral triumph of December 1937 that sealed the death sentence of Codreanu by King Carol II. Finally, the political dimension of these writings seek their performative function, thus their ability to contribute to the final victory of the movement, including the exemplary nature of the fascist Messiah whose last project before the arrest was to delay his seizure of the power in order to form the "new man", fully capable of fulfilling the plans of the Legion of Archangel Michael.
Hygrothermal analysis of a wall isolated from the inside: The potential of dynamic hygrothermal simulation
Hygrothermal simulations are expected to provide powerful support to the design process in the context of energy retrofit of historic buildings and prevent the moisture-related damages. They can be used to predict the hygrothermal behaviour of the building in detail and exclude the occurrence of moisture related damages, such as mould formation or material degradation. However, these simulations require various input data related to materials and boundary conditions, which are often difficult to find during the design phase. In this article we analyse the potential of hygrothermal simulations in predicting the hygrothermal behaviour of an internally insulated wall, even with limited information on the hygrothermal properties of the materials composing the historical wall. The quality of the simulation's results is evaluated through a comparison with monitored data. The numerical model is calibrated to maximise the agreement with the monitored data. The considered case study is a historical building located nearby Bolzano (Northern Italy). The monitoring system is installed with the aim of analysing temperature and relative humidity profiles within the construction. In addition, the climatic boundary conditions are measured both inside and outside the building, including temperature, relative humidity, driving rain and solar radiation. The numerical simulation of the wall under analysis is performed with the software DELPHIN

Author Under Sail The Imagination of Jack London, 1893-1902
In Author Under Sail, Jay Williams offers the first complete literary biography of Jack London as a professional writer engaged in the labor of writing. It examines the authorial imagination in London's work, the use of imagination in both his fiction and nonfiction, and the ways he defined imagination in the creative process in his business dealings with his publishers, editors, and agents. In this first volume of a two-volume biography, Williams traverses the years 1893 to 1902, from London's "Story of a Typhoon" to The People of the Abyss. The Jack London who emerges in the pages of Author Under Sail is a writer whose partnership with publishers, most notably his productive alliance with George Brett of Macmillan, was one of the most formative in American literary history. London pioneered many author models during the heyday of realism and naturalism, blurring the boundaries of these popular genres by focusing on absorption and theatricality and the representation of the seen and unseen. London created an impassioned, sincere, and extremely personal realism unlike that of other American writers of the time. Author Under Sail is a literary tour de force that reveals the full range of London as writer, creative citizen, and entrepreneur at the same time it sheds light on the maverick side of machine-age literature.Intro -- Title Page -- Copyright Page -- Dedication -- Contents -- Acknowledgments -- Introduction -- 1.
