Hazel Hughes Trophy, which is given to the outstanding senior female athlete, upon graduation.

No full textThe conversation includes discussions about issues of relevance to film festivals that screen experimental moving image work, including: the emergence of small festivals whose programming challenges the dominance of European or North American work; the incorporation of the moving image into the gallery scene; and the opening up of new possibilities for global exchange using digital media. Erika Balsom (United Kingdom), George Clark (New Zealand), Eduardo Thomas (Mexico), Koyo Yamashita (Japan), and Chris Kennedy (Canada) spoke about these and other developments related to experimental moving image practices in the festival scene. Trans Media and its Futures
No full textIn this public panel discussion, Screen Studies’ Rox Samer (they/them) and representatives of their “Gender and Film” seminar examined the current state of transgender media as well as visions for its futures with three distinguished guests: artist and scholar micha cárdenas (she/her); artist and producer Zackary Drucker (she/her); and artist and filmmaker Chris E. Vargas (he/him). All three are active and leading artists working in the lush arena of trans media production. Attendees are invited to check out their considerable bodies of work, available via their respective websites, YouTube, Amazon, and HBO Max. Together their work expands our sense of possibility for the future of trans media.
