FEATURES OF CHOOSING ISOTHERMAL TANKS FOR STORAGE OF LIQUEFIED NATURAL GASES
Get PDFВступ. У наш час природний скраплений газ користується величезною популярністю у всіх сферах життя − опалення, приготування їжі, транспорт та багатьох інших. І причин для цього немало − екологічна чистота, зручність використання, низька вартість тощо. Родовища природного газу є не у всіх куточках Землі, тому виникла проблема його транспорту. Як відомо, газ при нормальних умовах перебуває у газоподібній фазі і займає значні об’єми. Скраплений природний газ, або скорочено СПГ, як прийнято називати його в енергетичній галузі (англ. Liquefied Natural Gas, скор. LNG) являє собою звичайний природний газ, охолоджений до температури -162° С (так звана температура скраплення) для зберігання і транспортування в рідкому вигляді. Мета. Дана стаття розширює аналіз особливостей вибору резервуарів для зберігання скраплених газів. Оскільки зберігається скраплений газ в ізотермічних резервуарах за температури кипіння, яка підтримується внаслідок випаровування СПГ, вибір ємностей для зберігання СПГ відіграє важливе значення у ланцюгу «транспортування − доставка газу». Отже, важливо безпечно та ефективно вибрати метод зберігання СПГ. Результати. У праці наведено дослідження науковців з проблем проєктування й експлуатації сховищ для СПГ, статистичні параметри досліджень, динаміку розвитку газового ринку та структуру змін світових потужностей для експорту LNG. Охарактеризовано питання вибору способу зберігання значних обсягів скраплених природних газів та практики будівництва комплексів, класифікацію ємностей. Аналіз резервуарів, які на даний час використовуються у реалізованих міжнародних проєктах, показав, що серед великогабаритних резервуарів найбільш поширені конструкції повної герметизації, проте ізотермічні резервуари одинарної герметизації в низці випадків є не менш конкурентоспроможними, що забезпечує необхідний рівень безпеки зберігання за меншої вартості. Висновки. У даній статті показано, що вибір типу резервуару необхідно закладати на стадії проєктування, враховуючи питання охорони праці та ідентифікації небезпек. Водночас ідентифікація небезпек ізотермічного зберігання СПГ вимагає аналізу досвіду експлуатації та конструктивних особливостей.Introduction. Nowadays, natural liquefied gas is very popular in all spheres of life – heating, cooking, transport and many others. And there are many reasons for this – environmental cleanliness, ease of use, low cost, and others. Natural gas deposits are not found in all corners of the Earth, so the problem of its transportation has arisen. As you know, gas under normal conditions is in the gaseous phase and occupies significant volumes. Liquefied natural gas or abbreviated LNG, as it is commonly called in the energy industry (Liquefied Natural Gas, abbreviated LNG) is ordinary natural gas cooled to a temperature of -162 ° C (the so-called liquefaction temperature) for storage and transportation in liquid form in the form. Goal. This article expands the analysis of the features of the selection of tanks for the storage of liquefied gases. Since liquefied gas is stored in isothermal tanks at the boiling temperature, which is maintained due to the evaporation of LNG, the choice of containers for LNG storage plays an important role in the transportation chain – gas delivery. Therefore, it is important to choose a safe and efficient LNG storage method. The results. The work presents the research of scientists on the problems of designing and operating storage facilities for LNG, statistical parameters of research, the dynamics of gas market development and the structure of changes in global capacity for LNG export, the issue of choosing a method of storing significant volumes of liquefied natural gases and the practice of building complexes, the classification of containers is characterized. The analysis of the tanks that are currently used in the implemented international projects showed that among the large-sized tanks, the most common designs are full sealing, but isothermal tanks with single sealing are in some cases no less competitive, providing the necessary level of storage security at a lower cost. Conclusions. This article shows that the choice of tank type must be made at the design stage, taking into account the issues of occupational safety and hazard identification. At the same time, identifying the dangers of isothermal storage of LNG requires an analysis of operating experience and design features
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
