[[alternative]]The Study on the Relationship Between the Junior High School Administrators' Information Literacy and School Effectiveness in Miaoli County

本研究旨在了解國民中學行政人員資訊素養能力與學校效能的關係,主要探討不同背景變項、環境變項之國民中學行政人員,在資訊素養能力與學校效能的差異情形。
本研究之研究對象,乃以苗栗縣之公立國民中學行政人員為主,抽樣21所公立國民中學176位行政人員,調查結果以平均數、標準差、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、薛費事後多重比較法、皮爾遜積差相關、多元迴歸等統計方法,進行資料處理分析,獲致下列結論:
一、苗栗縣國民中學行政人員資訊素養能力與學校效能整體是屬於「中上程度的表現。
二、苗栗縣國民中學行政人員資訊素養能力因行政人員背景變項不同而有顯著差異。
1.男性行政人員在資訊素養能力的表現高於女性行政人員
2.不同年齡的行政人員在資訊素養能力以51歲以上者低於其他年齡層。
3.研究所學歷的行政人員在「資訊的溝通與表達」、「資訊科技的使用」、「資料處理分析及搜尋」及「整體資訊素養能力」層面的資訊素養能力有顯
著高於一般大學學歷的行政人員。
4.行政年資在「資訊的溝通與表達」、「資訊科技的使用」層面服務年資在6-15年的行政人員其資訊素養顯能力著高於服務年資在26年以上。
5.資訊研習時數在61小時以上的國民中學行政人員其資訊素養能力亦較高。
6.苗栗縣國民中學行政人員在擔任職務上其資訊素養能力沒有明顯差異。
三、苗栗縣國民中學行政人員學校效能因背景變項不同而有顯著差異。
1.男性行政人員在學校效能上平均高於女性行政人員。
2.行政人員在年齡上在「家長參與」、「學校環境」層面,年齡「41~50
歲以上」的行政人員其學校效能高於年齡「31歲~40歲」、「30歲以下
的國民中學行政人員。
3.苗栗縣國民中學行政人員不同年齡、學歷、行政年資、擔任職務、資訊研習時數在「整體學校效能」層面,無顯著差異。
四、苗栗縣國民中學行政人員資訊素養能力與學校效能因行政人員環境
變項不同而有顯著差異。
1.學校規模25-48班的學校行政人員資訊素養能力最高。
2.不同學校所在地行政人員之資訊素養能力沒有差異。
3.學校規模25-48班的學校行政人員學校效能最高。
4.不同學校所在地行政人員之學校效能沒有差異。
五、苗栗縣國民中學行政人員資訊素養能力與學校效能間有顯著正相關。
基於以上研究結果,本研究針對教育行政單位與未來研究提出建議,以作為教育與研究之參考。[[abstract]]Abstract
This research explored the relationship of information literacy and school effectiveness, and analyzed the differences of information literacy and school effectiveness among junior high school administrators by different background and environment factors.
The samples of this study were 176 administrators of 21 junior high schools locating in Miaoli County. The results were analyzed by means, standard deviations, frequency, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, Scheffe method , canonical correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis.
The finding are as following :
1.“Upper-high”level performance was found on the whole in relation to the information literacy and school effectiveness of the junior high school administrators of Miaoli County .
2. Significant differences were found between the background variables of the junior high school administrators of Miaoli County in relation to the information literacy.
2.1 Male administrators scored higher than female administrators in relation to the information literacy.
2.2 Administrators upper 51 years old score lower on information literacy.
2.3 Administrators graduating from“graduate school”scored higher on “information communication and express”, information science operation”and“information data analysis and search”and“total information literacy”than administrators graduating from other universities.
2.4 Administrators serving 6-15 years scored higher on“information communication and express”,“information science operation” than those serving upper 26 years on information literacy.
2.5 Administrators researching and studying above 61hours scored higher on information literacy than administrators of researching and studying under 20 hours.
2.6 No significant difference was found on duty of administrators on information literacy.
3.Significant differences were found between the background variables of the junior high school administrators of Miaoli County in relation to school effectiveness.
3.1 Male administrators scored higher than female administrators in relation to school effectiveness.
3.2 Age 41~50 of the administrators on school effectiveness scored higher than age 31~40 and age lower 30 on“participate of family member”,“environment of school”items.
3.3 No significant difference was found between higher degree、administrators experience、duty and information researching and studying on school effectiveness.
4. Significant differences were found between the environment variables of the junior high school administrators of Miaoli County in relation to information literacy and school effectiveness.
4.1 School size 25~48 classes of the junior high school administrators information literacy and school effectiveness of Miaoli County scored higher than other size of schools.
4.2 No significant difference was found between the junior high school administrators information literacy and school effectiveness of Miaoli County on the school location.
5. There is a positive correlation between information literacy and school effectiveness.
These results can be used by education administratives, school principles,and future researches

碩士教育研究所[[abstract]]本研究目的旨在瞭解苗栗縣兼任行政職務國中教師工作滿意度與工作壓力之現況,並瞭解不同個人背景因素在工作滿意度與工作壓力的差異情形,再進而探討工作滿意度與工作壓力之間的相關情形。研究以文獻分析探討兼任行政職務教師的工作內涵、工作滿意度與工作壓力之相關理論與研究;並以自編之「國中兼任行政職務教師工作滿意度與工作壓力調查問卷」針對206位苗栗縣兼任行政職務國中教師進行調查;並採描述性統計分析、因素分析、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關等統計方法進行資料分析。
研究結果顯示苗栗縣兼任行政職務國中教師感受到中等程度的工作滿意度與工作壓力。工作滿意度各分層面以「人際關係」的滿意程度最高,「薪資福利」的滿意程度最低;工作壓力各分層面以「行政工作負荷」的壓力感受程度最大,「人際溝通」的工作壓力感受程度最小。再者,不同背景變項的苗栗縣兼任行政職務國中教師之工作滿意度與工作壓力部分達顯著差異。此外,苗栗縣兼任行政職務國中教師工作滿意度與工作壓力在整體上呈現中度負相關;在各層面上亦呈現低至中度負相關。根據研究結果提出建議,以供教育主管單位、校長、兼任行政職務教師、未來研究者作為參考。在研究對象、研究方法、研究架構等方面提出未來研究之參考。[[abstract]]Title: A Study on the Job Satisfaction and Work Stress of Junior High School Teachers Participating in Administrative Duties in Miaoli Country

Abstract
The purposes of the present study were to investigate the relationship between the job satisfaction and the work stress of junior high school teachers participating in administrative affairs in Miaoli County. The circumstance of teachers’ job satisfaction and work stress has been explored and whether teachers with various backgrounds have different feeling in the job satisfaction and work stress have been examined. In addition, the present study investigates the correlation between the job satisfaction and work stress. Subjects were 206 teachers participating in administrative affairs in Miaoli County. Utilizing various statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation to analyze data. The results indicated that the job satisfaction and work stress of junior high school teachers participating in administrative affairs in Miaoli County was intermediary. Among the facets of job satisfaction, the degree of “interpersonal relation” was the highest and “salary and benefit” was the lowest. Among the facets of work stress, the degree of “administrative job burden” was the highest and the “interpersonal communication” was the lowest. Moreover, teachers with various backgrounds have partially different feeling in the job satisfaction and work stress. Additionally, there was significantly negative relationship between job satisfaction and work stress with moderate magnitude. Among facets, there were significantly negative relationships with moderate to low magnitude. Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the current situation of the job stress and its coping strategies, the difference in different background variables, and the difference in different sensitivity of working pressure among chiefs of general affairs in Miaoli County. The questionnaire was adopted and the 121 subjects of chiefs of general affairs in the elementary and junior high schools in Miaoli County were used. Mean, standard deviations, t-test of independent samples, One-way ANOVA, and MANOVA were utilized. The findings of this study are concluded as follows. First, among chiefs of general affairs in the elementary and junior high schools in Miaoli County, “the whole working pressure” reaches to the medium sensitivity. Second, their coping strategies reach above the medium. Third, there are significant differences in the perspective of “the interpersonal relationship.” Fourth, there is significant difference in the perspectives of “seeks the support” in gender. Fifth, there is significant difference in the perspective of “the mood adjustment” in educational levels. Sixth, there are significant differences in the perspective of “seeks the support”, “the rational thinking”, & “the whole coping strategies” in specialized backgrounds. Seventh, there are significant differences in the perspective of “seeks the support”, “the rational thinking”, & “the whole coping strategies” in service districts. Eighth, it is discovered that the chief of general affairs who owns more specialized knowledge can lower the working pressure, and often uses “solves the problem”. The one that owns less specialized knowledge rise working pressure, and seldom uses “solves the problem”. Suggestions are made for future research

[[abstract]]Study of health behavior and probe into the relative factors of junior high school student in Miaoli city
Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to realize the health behavior and to probe into the relative factors of junior high school student in MiaoLi city and for the reference of various healthy problems and the health promotion project. The group of study is based on junior high school students of 92 academic year. Sampling method was applied to collect the samples, after then, 669 questionnaires were retrieved and 644 of them were effective. The questionnaire yield was 92.1%.
According to the study, some findings are as follows:
1. health behavior
Some improvements are really needed in eating habits, such as “drinking 1 ~ 2 glasses of milk (yogurt included),” “eating high cellulose food (ex: full-wheat bread, yam, unpolished rice, etc.),” “to drink sugary beverage (ex:soda、cola、shake、oolong tea) too often” and “to eat desserts(ex: cake、chocolate、candy、pie) too often”. Among exercise behaviors, “Besides physical education, I will take exercise at least three times a week, continuing for more than 20 minutes and feel sweaty、 heartbeats go fast, and breathless” performs worse. , which indicates the bad general condition in students’ taking regular exercise;the populations who "drinking and smoking" was increasing, while the age of "first drink and smoke" was declined, and the highest percentage is among students between 10~16-year-old. The situation of driving without license is serious. It should be the top priority in traffic safety guides of school. Some people in sample have sexual behavior experience. Their first experience occurred at 13~16 years old, and mostly at 16. As to pressure adjustment, express better one after another “I will do some activities, like to stroll around the streets、watch TV、listen to music,” “I can maintain well and close relationship with my classmates and friends,”, express bad one after another “I will schedule homework in a planned way,”; “I will read some books or magazines about psychology or health care,” “I will praise myself in right time” and “I will ask for assistance from expert or instructor when I have emotional problem.” Furthermore, a problem which is more worth to care is "suicide". 17.9 ﹪of students have been intent to suicide, and they rarely call expert or instructor for a help when they suffer emotional problems.
2. The study investigates the influence of demographic variables and Health Locus of Control to health behavior. People who are "younger, female, parents have well marriage, get good scores in school, family has higher social position or good economic situation" has better representation in every health behavior.
3. The study investigates the explanatory of demographic variables and Health Locus of Control to health behavior . Besides “Chance Health Locus of Control” has no explanatory, “sex,” “grade,” “score,” “parents’ marriage” and “Social Economic Status” have significant explanatory power in every health behavior.

碩士教育研究所[[abstract]]本研究以Bolman與Deal之組織多元架構觀點為基礎,探究苗栗、台中、彰化地區公立國小教師知覺校長多元領導策略與學校內部社區感之間關係。本研究採取階層線性模式(hierarchical linear modeling, HLM)作為主要研究與統計分析方式,分析教師個人階層(個體階層)及學校校長階層(總體階層)的預測變項對學校內部社區感之影響,以確立國小教師知覺校長多元領導策略與學校內部社區感有否階層性影響與關係存在。獲以下結論,提供教育人員相關建議。
一、 校長領導策略呈現出多元架構領導融合運用取向
二、 教師知覺學校內部社區感屬於中高程度,以關懷層面相對最高
三、 校長多元領導策略與學校內部社區感間相關性呈現中低程度
四、 校長多元領導策略的應用可有效預測其學校內部社區感的知覺程度
五、校長多元領導策略應用對教師知覺之多元領導策略在學校內部社區感上可有效預測其知覺到的程度。[[abstract]]Based on Bolman and Deal’s theory of multiframe leadership, this research is to investigate the relativity between teachers perceive principals’ leadership strategy and sense of community in elementary school in Miaoli, Taichung, and Changhua areas. The research uses hierarchical linear modeling and obtains five conclusions. Finally, the study offers suggestions to educational authorities, school principals, and the future studies.
1. Elementary school principals tend to different frames of leadership at the same time.
2. The sense of community in elementary school in Miaoli, Taichung, and Changhua areas belongs to in average-to-high extent. And the sense to the dimension of “school’s concern” is comparatively the highest.
3. There is an average-to-low correlation between the principal’s multiframe leadership and the sense of community in school.
4. The principal’s miltiframe leadership can predict the sense of community in school.
5. The principal’s miltiframe leadership affects teachers’ perceiving principals’ leadership strategies to the sense of community effect in school
「開放網路教學平台」模式於國中音樂教學之行動研究
[[abstract]]Abstract
The goal of this research is to investigate the website"Network Education Platform," which has been built up on-line to help diverse teachers by communicating their digitalized teaching materials, and furthermore to suggest the advocate of the digital integration of music teaching and learning. Briefly, it comes up with the convenience and immediacy when music teachers utilize what the website has been providing during music teaching , while most teachers disable constructing an available website on-line by themselves. The Internet aids support teachers to create a field where the digital instruction and the interactive learning become possible. By the way, the Internet development leads the knowledge reform to a wider and faster level. And also this thesis reaches its conclusions by reviewing related literatures and surveying practical websites such as EduCities, K-12 Digital School and EasyTry of Miaoli County.
According to the analysis of this research , the author suggests that music teachers ought to be given more access to get close to the digital tools provided on-line, because indeed they upgrade teaching and motivate students'learning. Then the author points out three directions to conclude this research. First, it is necessary for the authority of education to make the Network Education Platform more generalized and convenient. Second, some problems about music score, sound arrangement and active visual teaching apppeared on the platform need to be solved immediately so that teachers more likely to get on it. Finally, it is greatly important to construct the active framework, which provides a simple but supportive background for those teachers of humanity and arts, to integrate the teaching and information usage in the Nine-year Curriculum program.
A study on junior high school student?s depression prone and deviant behavior ?of a remote junior high school in Miaoli county
[[abstract]]The purpose of this research is to study the levels and determinants of depression prone and deviant behavior among students of a junior high school located at remote Miaoli County. The relationship of depression prone and deviant behavior is further explored. The tool for measuring deviant behavior is developed by this author and depression prone is based on the Beck?s melancholia quantity sheet version 2.The total number of students in this research is 152. They are all students of grade 7 to 9 of this school.
The main results are as follows:
1) Current levels of depression prone among students are categorized as normal, slight or medium. Overall speaking, 32.2% of students are showing some degree of depression prone.
2) Those students of grade 9, whose mothers are businesswomen; the parents? attitudes toward students are permissive; with lower grades in study; and with a bad relation with his/her classmates are more likely to be depression.
3) Those students of grade 8, the parents? attitudes toward students are permissive; those with a bad grade in study; and with a bad relation with his/her classmates are more likely with deviant behaviors.
4) To sum each deviant behavior adjusted by its weight given by teachers is a better measure for over all deviant behavior.
5) The result of this research showing that the degree of depression prone and the deviant behavior score are highly correlated.
Depression prone and deviant behaviors both are serious problems of students. Schools, parents, governments are suggested to face these problems positively. More researches of this regards and to develop a most suitable measurement tool for measuring deviant behavior is rgently needed
The Influence of Centralized Personnel Administration on Miaoli County Governance
我國自實施地方自治以來,基於國家安全與動員戡亂等考量,並求整體國力之提昇,在實際運作中,中央政府與地方政府之間,不論其首長是否隸屬同一政黨,皆產生若干事權之爭,尤以人事權、財政權方面為最,頗值得探討。本研究作者身為地方縣市政府人事機構主管,在地方治理模式變遷,歷史的演變,受雙重指揮系統下,一方面承人事一條鞭體系,須執行銓敘部及行政院人事行政局推動之政策,另一方面為縣市首長之人事幕僚,身負輔佐縣市首長建構具前瞻性的人事政策及羅致培育優秀的地方公務人才,厚植地方建設基礎的重責大任,身處人事一條鞭管理制度之執行者及縣市首長之人事幕僚,由於受雙重指揮系統顯有扞格之處,其扮演角色又該如何?因此,期能藉由本研究提供人事主管機關面對政府組織改造時不同思維與決策之參考。地方治理理論的基本原則強調的是「因地制宜」、「因時制宜」,關鍵在於解決問題,滿足需求,也使得治理理論能夠迅速發展,成為政治理論中之重要學派。以苗栗縣政府為例,依其地方治理類型與特徵為第三種類型民主政府。為促成「城市治理」新模式的基礎,在過程中形塑成了新的空間生產機制與類型,讓苗栗人幸福光榮指數不斷的攀升。
本研究採實證研究方法,並應用文獻分析、制度途徑、歷史研究途徑、問卷調查法等研究方法進行資料蒐集與分析,經實證研究,獲致以下結論:
一、「人事一條鞭」最應率先鬆綁,可能產生的後遺症也較小。人事管理條例必須儘速適當修正。二、考銓主管機關應該儘量授權各該機關或機構首長本身決定;亦即「核定權」之行使,應從事前實質審查逐步轉為事後法制監督,以符政府組織運作的彈性與實際需求。三、解除現行各項「人事一條鞭」管理法令的拘束力,賦予各機關自主性的空間並由行政首長負責。四、地方政府應針對地方特性,自訂地域性所需要的組織架構,以及強化執行力之用人政策。Since the implementation of local self-government in our country since, based on national security and of Communist Rebellion and other considerations, and seek to enhance the overall national strength, and in actual operation, the central government and between local governments, regardless of whether or not the head attached to the same political party, have a number of authorities are of dispute, particularly the right personnel, financial powers for the most, it seems worth exploring. Miaoli County Government as an example, depending on the type and characteristics of local governance for the third type of democratic government. To contribute to "urban governance" based on the new model, in the process of shaping a new production mechanism and the type of space, so glorious, Miaoli human happiness index rose continually.
In this study, empirical research methods and the application of the literature analysis, the system of channels, means of historical research, survey research methods and so data collection and analysis carried out by empirical research, this study has been to the following conclusions:
First, "personnel of a whip" should take the lead in the most relaxed, might have less sequelae. Personnel Management Ordinance must be amended as soon as possible and appropriate. Second, test the Civil authorities should try to empower the head of the body or agency itself; that is "authorized the right to" exercise, we should review in advance the substance of the rule of law after the oversight was gradually changed to address the operation of governmental organizations the flexibility to meet the actual demand. Third, the lifting of existing, "personnel of a whip" binding Management Act to give autonomy of organs by the Chief Executive is responsible for space. [[alternative]]A Study of Junior High School Students’ English Acquisitive Environment, English Acquisitive Motivation, English Acquisitive Strategy, and English Acquisitive Achievement in Miaoli
碩士教育研究所[[abstract]]本研究的目的旨在探討苗栗縣國中三年級學生英語習得動機、英語習得策略與英語習得成就之間的關係,以及苗栗縣國中三年級學生的英語習得動機、習得策略與習得成就是否因性別、習得環境不同而有顯著差異。本研究之樣本包括480名國三學生,並獲得結論如下:首先,男女生在英語習得動機、策略、成就等層面上具有顯著差異。其次,英語習得環境在英語習得動機、策略、成就等層面上具有顯著差異。再者,英語習得動機、策略與成就具有顯著正相關。最後,英語習得動機與英語習得策略對英語習得成就具有顯著的預測力。
本研究基於研究發現與結論,對國中英語教學與未來研究提出以下的建議:首先,家長宜多關心及了解子女的英語習得狀況,可提高子女在「自我效能感」及「成就動機」層面的習得動機,及提高其在「記憶策略」、「認知策略」、「情意策略」、「後設認知策略」、「社交策略」、「補償策略」的使用頻率。其次,英語教師宜積極跟學生培養良好正向優質的師生關係,強調學生的「成就動機」、「自我效能感」,並增加學生習得策略各層面的使用頻率。最後,學生宜提高自身之「自我效能感」、「成就動機」,降低「測驗焦慮」,並增加「社交策略」、「認知策略」及「記憶策略」的使用頻率,及培養良好優質的師生關係與同儕關係。[[abstract]]The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among junior high school ninth-graders’ English acquisitive environment, English acquisitive motivation, English acquisitive strategy, and English acquisitive achievement in Miaoli, and to understand whether these ninth-graders’ English acquisitive motivation and English acquisitive strategy had significant differences in gender and acquisitive environment. Utilizing 480 9th graders, the conclusions of this study are as follows: first, students’ English acquisitive motivation, strategy, and achievement have significant differences in gender. Second, students’ English acquisitive motivation, strategy, and achievement have significant differences in English acquisitive environments. Third, there are significant correlation among students’ English acquisitive motivation, strategy and achievement. Final, students’ English acquisitive motivation, and strategy can predict their achievement significantly. The conclusions are proposed and suggestions are made based on the findings. First, parents should care much about children’s English acquisitive conditions and promote children’s acquisitive motivation such as “self-efficacy” and “achievement motivation.” Additionally, parents should encourage children to use the learning strategies such as “memory,” “cognitive,” “compensation,” “meta-cognitive,” “affective,” and “social” strategy frequently. Second, English teachers should cultivate positive and high-quality relationships with students, especially with male students. Also, English teachers should enhance students’ acquisitive motivation: “achievement motivation” and “self-efficacy,” and urge students to use strategies frequently as well. At last, students should foster their own acquisitive motivation and strategy, and also have high-quality relationships with teachers and peers to help them acquire English.
