Finding aid for The Charles D. Ogilvie, D.O. CollectionDr. Charles Ogilvie joined the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1972 as a lecturer in the Department of Radiology and was named department Chairman in 1977. In 1978, he was appointed founding chairman of medical humanities and introduced humanities into the curriculum. He was awarded the Founder's Medal in 1982. He retired from TCOM in 1989 and was named Professor Emeritus in 1990.The Charles D. Ogilvie, D.O. Collection consists of papers collected by Dr. Ogilvie while he was a faculty member of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and University of North Texas Health Science Center, 1976-1989.
