Brazilian foods and territories digital platform: conceptual bases for development.
Get PDFABSTRACT. There is limited and segmented access to information regarding the diversity of responsible and sustainable agrifood products in Brazil. There is a growing need to bridge the communication gap between farmers and consumers who wish to consume such differentiated products. This article aims to present the conceptual bases for the development of a Brazilian Digital Platform for Food and Territories involved bibliographic research methodology, analysis of international platforms and technical-scientific discussions between Brazilian and French research groups. The main result obtained was the modeling of the digital platform based on a multiscale view associated with the confluence of six conceptual aspects: Territories, Localized Food Systems, Brazilian Regional Foods, Adding Value, Consumer Empowerment, Technological and Knowledge Convergence. The results contribute to the physical development of the Platform, with literature and insights on digital innovations in agrifood for researchers, developers, public and private managers, creating new development opportunities for Brazilian rural territories.Na publicação: Carla do Nascimento Macario

No full textDuring the seventeenth century, Spain in general and Andalusia in particular, is involved in an environment of resurgence of classicism, where local scholars linked to ecclesiastical institutions, revive classical authors and works not too well known.This is the case of the Macario Fariñas del Corral, author who along with his studies on authors of the first century as Pomponio Mela or Plinio, starts a trip along the coast from Malaga to Cádiz following Itinerarium Antonii, which the author identifies as along the coast. This work deals with what refers to rate contained in his work and his particular vision of the municipality.Resumen:Durante el siglo XVII, España en general y Andalucía en particular, se ve envuelta en un ambiente de resurgimiento del clasicismo, donde eruditos locales ligados a instituciones eclesiásticas, hacen renacer autores clásicos y obras no excesivamente conocidas.Es el caso del erudito rondeño Macario Fariñas del Corral, autor que junto a sus estudios sobre autores del siglo I como Pomponio Mela o Plinio, inicia un viaje por la costa desde Málaga a Cádiz siguiendo el itinerario de Antonino, que el autor identifica a lo largo de la costa. Este trabajo trata sobre lo referente a Tarifa contenido en su obra y su particular visión del municipio

Get PDFThis article presents one of the most famous Renaissance Latin epyllions dealing with the motif of the Harrowing of Hell – Carmen de Triumpho Christi by Macario Muzio (a. 1440–a. 1523), a nobleman from Camerino. Written at the end of the 15th century, the work gained popularity and was eagerly imitated by other humanists (including Erasmus of Rotterdam and Eobanus Hessus). The epyllion, constructed according to the rules of ancient epic, is an example of the Christianisation of classical genres in the Renaissance. The article presents the life of the author and his views on Christian poetry, as well as a thorough analysis of the work. Get PDFItFin dagli inizi del 1900, l'Apocritico di Macario di Magnesia è stato oggetto di indagini e studi critici che hanno messo in luce la perizia e l'abilità retorica del suo autore. Il presente articolo si concentra su una disamina delle 43 creazioni lessicali, per la maggior parte verbi, delle quali si è cercato di definirne la genesi e la modalità di composizione. Le neoformazioni sono nella maggior parte dei casi create mediante giustapposizione di preposizioni o aggettivi; altre volte invece può prevale il gusto per la variatio, secondo le regole della Seconda Sofistica. I procedimenti combinatori e le modalità creative conducono quindi ad affermare che la componente retorica e finzionale dell'opera tende talvolta a superare quella strettamente apologetica.EnSince the beginning of 1900 , the Apocriticus of Macarius of Magnesia has been the subject of investigations and critical studies that have highlighted the expertise and rhetorical skills of its author . This article focuses on an analysis of 43 lexical creations, mostly verbs, of which we have tried to define the origin and composition mode. The new lexical creations are in most cases created by the juxtaposition of prepositions or adjectives; osther times the author can be influenced by lexical and phonic context in which to place the lexical creation, or, if necessary, he can prefers a new form according to the method variatio. Proceedings combinational and creative ways so lead to affirm that in the Apocriticus of Macarius of Magnesia sometimes rhetorical component tends to overcome that strictly apologetic
Juan Rulfo: los principios de una nueva poética narrativa
No full textThe article reviews the new way that led to the emergence of Juan Rulfo’s narrative in the panorama of Mexican letters, analyzing some of the axial issues of his work, such as the absolute absence of the author-narrator figure, the uniqueness of the voices of the characters or the creation of his own narrative worlds, from the analysis of some fragments of the initial stories "Nos han dado la tierra" and "Macario", published in 1945 in Pan magazine, from Guadalajara.El artículo revisa el nuevo modo del quehacer narrativo que supuso la irrupción de Juan Rulfo en el panorama de las letras mexicanas, analizando algunas cuestiones axiales de su obra, como la ausencia absoluta de la figura del autor-narrador, la singularidad de las voces de los personajes o la creación de mundos narrativos propios, a partir del análisis de algunos fragmentos de los cuentos iniciales “Nos han dado la tierra” y “Macario”, publicados en 1945 en la revista Pan, de Guadalajara.
Las fronteras de la autonomía en el ámbito clínico: el caso de los «wannabe»
Get PDFEste artículo trata desde el punto de vista de la bioética el inusual caso de algunos individuos que demandan la amputación de un miembro sano (el caso de los «wannabe»). Se consideran los hechos descritos en el documental «Whole», en particular las amputaciones practicadas a dos «wannabes» por el cirujano Robert Smith. En el artículo se sostiene que toda intervención médica moralmente correcta debe satisfacer dos condiciones: la condición de la responsabilidad médica y la condición del respeto por la autonomía. El comportamiento profesional de Smith se presenta situado en el límite de dicha responsabilidad y es plausible considerarlo finalmente como irresponsable. Sin embargo, si aceptamos que los «wannabes» implicados eran competentes para tomar decisiones en relación con su enfermedad mental, entonces cabe afirmar que estaban en condiciones de compartir con Smith la responsabilidad de la intervención y, en conjunto, se podría defender la corrección ética de estas particulares amputaciones. Se sostiene igualmente que deberían tomarse como modelo los cautelosos procedimientos para aprobar una intervención de reasignación de sexo. Por último, el autor destaca la importancia que tiene la perspectiva de salud pública en este tema, no descartando que la misma pueda cambiar el sentido de las anteriores conclusiones.This article deals, from the point of view of bioethics, with the unusual case of some individuals who ask for the amputation of a healthy limb (the case of «wannabes»). It mainly takes into account the events described in the documentary «Whole», in particular two amputations performed by the surgeon Robert Smith on two «wannabes», a decade ago in Scotland. The article argues that all morally correct medical interventions must satisfy two conditions: the condition of medical responsibility and the condition of respect for autonomy. Smith’s professional behavior appears to go beyond the limits of that responsibility turning him liable from misconduct. However, if it is accepted that the «wannabes» involved were competent to make decisions regarding their mental illness, they can be said to share the accountability for the operation with Smith and, all things considered, it could be defended that those amputations were morally correct. The article also holds that if the analogy between these assumptions and gender identity disorders is correct, the procedures for accepting a request for sex reassignment surgery should be taken as a model. La bioética como argumentación: la concepción bioética de Manuel Atienza
No full textThis paper addresses the main features of Manuel Atienza’s bioethics. First, his paper «Juridificar la bioética» is summarized. Second, Atienza’s conception of bioethics as argumentation is illustrated with three types of arguments frequently used by the author: the argument of (un)reasonableness and the appeal to reasonable consensus, the argument of (in)coherence and the argument by normative or factual consequences. Third, an account of moral objectivism as the ultimate foundation of Atienza’s bioethical argumentation is provided, by paying special attention to the idea of dignity.En este artículo se abordan los rasgos principales de la bioética de Manuel Atienza. Para ello, se resume, en primer lugar, su artículo «Juridificar la bioética». En segundo lugar, se ilustra la concepción de Atienza de la bioética como argumentación con tres tipos de argumentos frecuentemente usados por el autor: el argumento de la (i) razonabilidad y la apelación al consenso razonable, el argumento de la (in)coherencia y el argumento por las consecuencias normativas o fácticas. En tercer lugar, se da cuenta del fundamento último de la argumentación bioética de Atienza, su objetivismo moral mínimo, prestando especial atención a la idea de dignidad
