A sinfonia do sagrado em Castro Alves: (Deus, Eros e mãe em Os escravos)

Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura.No presente trabalho realiza-se uma leitura intertextual entre a Bíblia e Os escravos, coletânea de poemas de teor abolicionista do poeta romântico Antônio Frederico de Castro Alves (1847-1871), objetivando demonstrar que os textos poéticos arquitetam-se na desconstrução e reconstrução dos textos bíblicos. A leitura dos poemas centra-se nos personagens: Deus, Eros e Mãe, os quais conformam uma trindade poética/sagrada. A pesquisa divide-se em três movimentos: Prelúdios do sagrado no Romantismo, Tríade melódica e À guisa de coda: trindade poética. No primeiro efetuam-se algumas aproximações ao conceito do sagrado e aos Romantismos francês e brasileiro. O seguinte corresponde à leitura das composições, através das linhas melódicas: A dualidade de Deus, A ambivalência de Eros e O duplo calvário da Mãe escrava. E no último movimento amalgamam-se as inter-relações entre a trindade cristã e poética e os dramas bíblico e poético
Interactively using Semantic Web knowledge: Creating scalable abstractions with FacetOntology
No full textThe amount of knowledge accessible on the Semantic Web is growing, and there is a need for a scalable solution to facilitate exploring that data. Currently approaches to exploring Semantic Web data either focus on exploring resources individually, following links during exploration, and making little use of collated data, or take the approach of collating and aligning multiple sources into one store for one purpose, and hand-crafting a specific browsing interface onto it. We present an approach that provides a scalable browsing interface, which can browse knowledge from the Semantic Web at will. Our approach creates abstractions of knowledge, collated into facets, which are described using FacetOntology. FacetOntology facilitates describing facets from RDF data, suitable for use in creating datasets for faceted browsing

Mas a data de publicação final é 2025.Este artigo pretende dar a conhecer a biografia inédita de Rosalía de Castro escrita por Maria Ondina Braga, no âmbito do projeto Mulheres Escritoras iniciado na revista Modas e Bordados, logo a seguir à Revolução de Abril. A biografia, que permaneceu esquecida até à sua publicação em 2023 (juntamente com a de outras mulheres escritoras que deveriam integrar o volume igualmente inédito, Retratos com Sombras), vem chamar a atenção para o lugar pioneiro de Rosalía no cânone pessoal da escritora portuguesa mais cosmopolita do século XX. Mais do que reconhecer o lugar cimeiro de Rosalía no âmbito do «Rexurdimento Gallego», a biografia procura destacar o lugar da escritora galega num cânone feminino global e sem fronteiras temporais ou espaciais, do qual fazem igualmente parte, entre outras, Sei Shonagon, Virginia Woolf, Lou Andréas-Salomé, Katherine Mansfield, Carson Mc Cullers, Selma Lagerlöf ou Gabriela Mistral
Growth Morphologies and Mechanisms of Non-Equilibrium Solidified MC Carbide
No full textGrowth morphologies and mechanisms of the carbide of group IVB and VB elements (MC carbide), a typical faceted crystal, were studied with an estimated cooling rate from 102 to 105 K/s. Results showed that although the growth morphologies of the MC carbide vary remarkably with solidification cooling rate, the solid/liquid interface is always atomically smooth, and the growth mechanisms are always lateral growth. The growth mechanism transition from lateral to continuous growth mode, which was predicted by the classic crystal growth theory, was not observed for the TiC type MC carbide within the estimated cooling rate range of 102?105 K/s

As the laser scanning speed increased, the growth morphology of eutectic MC carbide was found to be needle-aligned annulation, butterfly-like and well-developed dendrite

No full textThis report describes the Bit Error Probability (BEP) performance of Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system using the RAKE-receiver in frequency selective slow Rayleigh fading channels. The analysis has been carried out by a theoretical approach using the characteristic function method for quadratic form of Gaussian random variables and by computer simulation.
